Yep, hacked a good bit of my thumb off, nothing major, just a bit of bloodloss and ER visit with 3-4 week healing time before it grows back

Posted 13 years agoDamn, Hows it been all! What a flipping crazy CRAZY year it has been...
Oct1 last yea marked a change in my life, before that I ended up getting on a little bit of an anti-depressant as shit was going bad.. Not more then three weeks later WHAM ! A job! Been there for a year as of oct1, and gods it feels nice, to add another smile, almost a year to the day after work I started back up with school.. Cullinary, finally persuing my one love.
Of course with that means another thing, me in culinary, Im going to be uploading to scraps soon everything that gets done that is worth a picture spot so watch those scraps if yall are curious with how I have been. Asides that of course. Gods what a year!

Had to do the one thing no pet owner ever wants to.
Posted 13 years agoWell, he had a good run but the past week my dog went from normal just just incapicated. His hips were starting to show signs of going, then a couple days ago he just collapsed, past that he wasnt getting up, wasnt walking right.
So today we took him to the animal hospital and we were given the choice, a touch choice for any animal owner, a couple thousand dollar operation to hopefully repair his hips, or putting him down..
Now before anybody chastises me for what I did. He was 12, happy, playful years old, but the past few days were bad, vomitting blood and loose of bathroom controll. So we bit the bullet, tears were shed and we had him put down.
The hardest part of purring any animal down isnt the fact of what your doing, its the peaceful serenity when they are laying there, about to get the final injection. The tranquilizer takes all the pain away, its just tear-jerking, makes you wonder how much longer you could be with them. How much longer they could share life and love to your family.
Jr was put down this evening at 8:15PM, EST. One of the saddest moments.
After he was put down though, we heard news, heartbreaking news that secretly all of us smiled as we knew we did the right thing, he had cancer. We didnt know, there was no outward signs but once he was asleep, we found out that he had three tumors, inner haunch, front right leg and at his eye.
My dog, my friend, companion is now resting home, in the backyard, under his favorite tree.
~Run long, play fun and never forget you were loved and will always be missed.~

So, going in for shoulder surgery on thursday, not a huge deal but its a hint stressful, and on wendsday my truck decided to outright shit out, sounds like theres a short somewhere but who knows.
Asides that, just been working and working :P Nothing really special here, just wanted to let friends know why I might seem off as of late..

Posted 14 years agoYep, as of tomorrow I turn 23, woohoo I guess. This past year was just a blue overall its hard to really say anything about what happened.
Left school, had one or two small temp jobs, car sploded but asides that it was all a blur of life.
Oh well! Heres hoping this upcomming year has some improvements overall!

Rant Warning! Or, why my mother needs to be locked up.
Posted 14 years agoOkay... Ive had issues with my mother before but sometimes things just get out of hand. No this isnt about a physical fight, abuse or anything like that, its just her complete lack of reality.
Okay lets flash back a few months, her car was totaled etc so she needed a new one. At the time my car was totaled aswell, so I managed to snag an '86 bronco. Well we got my car repaired, the Bronco was a backup for me and then when my mom goes to get a new vehicle I am forced into giving up the title for the bronco, else loosing the current home I was in Note, I didnt have a job at the time so that really wasnt an option. My mom got the 'car of her dreams' etc and BAM!
Now today, since then I have not been able to borrow her car for anything. My cars engine recently blew and my job requires me driving, so guess what? She wants to drive me from place to place.. Completely fucking nuts as she drives like a maniac etc.
Well a few months back we sorta planned on going for a mini weekend vacation, when my car broke one of her first reactions was 'Oh.. I guess we cant go on that vacation now'
So yea, new job, just starting to get paid and absolutely not a hint of enough income yet to get financing. Dad allready said he wouldnt help, mom 'cant' help etc despite me bringing in enough to make a car payment. So heres the icing on the cake.. I wake up today, mom calls me to the living room and goes ...
"Well I planted a seed in your dads head earlier" ~Im thinking awsome! Maby they will help me with financing!~
Nope.... Next words out of her mouth is "I got talking about how I really hadnt taken a vacation in a while so we might be going somewhere this weekend for a day" Note, I live in florida and she has really been wanting to hit universal orlando..
