2022 Update
Posted 3 years agoCan't really think of a better title, so, this is what y'all get. Sorry for that.
This was a year. To say the least. And, yes, I'm aware that it's fucking June at this point, so, in reality we're only half way through, but, yeah...
Anyway, there was a guy who was supposed to be helping me and
Vira_Spartan_711 settle in some place up in Virginia for better opportunities. Instead he was a complete and utter fucking asshole and pretty much kicked us out within 5 fucking days of getting there.
I EVER see his fucking ass again, he'll be fucking buried where he stands.
This has lead into some interesting stuff as a result though. Ended up moving down with my family. Cause of this I got to talk with and hang out with my sister, who I've not really been able to hang out with for 10 years. And, so much stuff is different, but, it's fucking weird for me, cause of the sudden change. But she's absolutely incredible.

One thing: DO. NOT. FUCK WITH HER. Call me over protective, I don't give a fuck, but, she's my sister, and I'll do everything I fucking can to make sure she's good. And she already knows this (and can do damn well at taking care of herself), but, it doesn't change anything.
And, God only knows why, but, there's such an extraordinary amount of overlap of interests and experiences and it's just fucking crazy.

Posted 4 years agoSo, finally got to actually start this (way too late imo, but, w/e).
After getting past just, barrier after barrier and being stalled out for so long, I've finally managed to actually be able to start coding.
Currently burning through quite a few tutorials, but, gonna see what I can do on my own fairly soon. Initial idea is to kinda mess around with a few text adventures, but, very much intend to go with more artistic style games.
Yeah, I'm aware of things such as Unreal and Unity (and i even have them), but, I'm doing the coding thing first, because, if I can learn how to handle the code, then I can do much more in regards to making games, than what most others would normally be able to do by just using those.
I've got quite a few resources at my disposal, and weirdly still having a little bit of trouble trying to understand them, but, they're still incredibly useful.
And, also, it's not just games that I want to make either. I've got tons of ideas for different programs and such that I'd love to do. And, honestly, one I've had in mind since forever, is to make my own operating system. But, I know that's going to be quite a ways away.
So, while I know I should be doing more art, especially with some of the other ideas that I've had in mind, I may end up being pretty heavily focused on programming/coding.
I won't be gone, just busy, lol

Minor Stuff
Posted 4 years agoSo, I've worked out a color pallet that I can use on my pictures. It's not perfect, but, it's at least usable for me. Started with a circle that I cut into 8 pieces which can be seen on Arina (2.3). But, I've updated it some for Ambrosia, with 12 slices. From what I can gather, I'll likely be able to hit a max of 16 slices per wheel. Thankfully though, I don't believe I'll really have any art with more than 16. And, honestly, I don't think I'll be having many (if any at all), with even 16 colors. Ambrosia seems to be an anomaly with the maximum that she uses.
Aside from that, I'm working on my watermark. And, I know my pix all have a handful of different ones, but, I'm trying to work out a more uniform one that I like. I used a temporary one, that was an old galaxy picture that I made way back in like 2012 or so. Next is the blue gemstone one. And, I was thinking of making an altered one, where it's a white overlay image. And, while it looks cool, I just didn't really like it all that much. But, when I was looking through some pix I had from a while back, I realized that I have one that I never finished. So, I'm attempting to finish that in my free time, so that I can use it as my new watermark.

And my cat hates me now. XD
Okay, well, he's more like: 'wtf is that scary ass creature?'. lol
Had it running around, and unfortunately, due to not really having a vacuum for a while, stuff kinda built up. And, we had this sucker go until the battery light turned red. And, omg, sooo much stuff. And, Vira_Spartan_711 and I did NOT think there was so much stuff.
But, due to various things going on, we've been trying to get stuff to help clean up the apartment. So, now we've got a roomba, lol, more shark brand thing, but we've got that, plus a portable carpet steam cleaner, and we're looking to get another dyson like we had before, so we can do the super duper deep cleaning.
And, turns out, that once we let the bot roam around, the whole place just smelled cleaner. Which was weird. And, weirder still, given that we didn't even smell the febreze plugin we got. Which, omg, is f***ing strong. But, whatever, at least it works. But, at least the place is finally getting cleaner like I've been wanting.
Also, for anyone with cats, there's a pic that I came across (happened to be on facebook, but, it's on others I'm sure), where someone set up their litter box in a neat way.
Basically, they had the litter box in a bigger container, like those large storage buckets from rubbermaid, or sterillite, and they had 2 litter mats, one inside, and one outside. And they cut a hole in the side of the bucket, for the cat to walk in/out, and had the mats lined up, so the cat could walk on the one next to the litter box, to scrape off the litter, and then onto the second one, to help shake off any loose ones.
We've sort of got that setup going, but, I plan to finish it up, cause I think that would help out loads, as it'll make stuff so much easier to deal with. This way, when we clean up, it'll be easier, plus, the area with the cat litter is a hellish mess, and idk wtf actually happened to get there. I know we've had a couple cats for a while, so, Cosmo would make a mess near it, even though he could go inside, and that created issues. But, it looks so much worse now, and I'm thinking it comes from the previous roommate's cat. Not to mention, whatever Orion's been doing, but, I don't think he's really ever added to it, but, idek at this point. :| But, it's whatever I guess, cause, that was the entire purpose of getting the vacuum and steam cleaner in the first place.
Cause, honestly, I don't truly expect to stick around the apartment for too much longer. They've raised the rent too high, plus, are sneaking in minor things to add to it, so, it's now $100 more than what I was paying before hand. Add to that, the neighbors are smoking inside, even though they're not supposed to, so it's coming down and stinking the place up (reason for me getting the febreze plug ins). And, it's just too much imo. No idea when we'll leave, but, I plan to do what I can to properly find a better place than this. Hopefully a house, but, who the fuck knows at this point. But, certainly not giving up my cat. I love that bastard too much.

Posted 4 years agoSo, last night (3-26-21 @ ~4-5am for those in the future), I was messing around with some lineart. Well, I grabbed some from 
ShadowInkLineworks/
ShadowInkWarrior's page. They had a journal that linked back to their DeviantArt page, and I followed it back to grab some extra linearts. I've already used one for Arina, so I know their stuff is pretty good. Well, if you compare Arina to the shading test I did, and the panty tease, you can see a huge difference in the way I've shaded them. In fact the shading test actually shows some significant progress within the course of an hour.
Now, granted, in that particular image, It's actually pretty simple, and honestly, there's a ton of things I actually did wrong, but, I wasn't actually aiming to toss in too much work/detail, as, at the time, I was just messing around with the picture and experimenting with things. I ended up sharing it, only because I rather liked how it came out, even as crude as it is (for me anyway).
A very simple, but, quick boost was gained from watching a quick cell shading tutorial, over on YouTube. And, I had come across some of these interesting features of Photoshop before, but, mostly haven't really used them much. One is the layer locking, which I actually wanted to do, but, didn't want to add more work than I was interested in. But, the video explained that I could stack a layer onto another (which I've seen, but, never knew how to do), and that helped out greatly.
So, I may end up doing a quick tutorial alongside a picture later. Especially, as I plan to do a quick test with Arina, and show a progress comparison with the shading I've done on her. And, I rather love the shading and some of the effects that I put on her in the original image, but, I've always felt it to be lower quality than what I had originally intended.
And, of course, if this works out as well as I'm hoping, I'm certainly going to see what I can do about doing more colors and shading, and hopefully be able to open myself up for some minor commissions. Won't be drawing, but, that's fine. Still gotta work out my drawing skills a bit anyway.
In other news, for anyone who cares about my PC charting over the past few journals: I moved my setup around. Vira_Spartan_711 wanted me to move out of my little nook that I had set up for my system, and over to the desk she was using for her WFH job. While she's got a new one, we figured it was kinda pointless to have stuff take up more room anyway, and as a result, not only did I get a corner with so much more space, but, I even got her old secondary monitor. So, now, I've finally got a dual monitor setup like I've been wanting.
While the setup is a bit of a strain on me (not fond of sitting still for long periods, nor in the same position for as long), it's actually proven to be quite useful/beneficial for me, as I FINALLY have a proper setup. lol, and it seriously doesn't take long for it to be crowded out with random junk, but, at least I go through to make sure it's fairly clean for me to work comfortably.
And, I absolutely love the setup I've got. The only thing that I really hate about it, is the ungodly amount of wires everywhere. But, I'm trying to figure out ways to fix that. And, unfortunately, I've also got a power strip, plugged into a power strip, and I know that's bad. >.< But, I am going to look into fixing that ASAP. Especially, since I'm also working out what stuff to grab for my PC still.
So, my current upgrades that I'm aiming for are:
+6-10tb HDD (or even SSHD), so that I can chuck all my games onto it and call it a day;
+a 1tb M.2 SSD, for storing other things, mainly SimCity 4, so I can have faster loading times on my game, due to the size, and amount of mods I've got;
+and last, but, most certainly not least: 32-64 gb of DDR4 RAM (across 4 sticks). This is mainly due to the fact that the RAM seems to be super buggy, so, I'm guessing both sets were technically DOA, resulting in many issues I'm having. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have extra ram, as I'm currently sitting at about 7gb of RAM being used, upon starting up windows.

Posted 4 years agoSo, my pc is super annoying right now. And, I legit think it's on Microsoft for this, cause it's constantly crashing on start up. It took about $700-800 to build it, and it's not finished, as it needs a couple of other things still. But, due to windows updates force-crashing the system to update, it's now crashing ~3x per start up. No idea what's fully causing it, but, I may end up dropping that same amount on it again to get it to work correctly.
Note: the price is higher than the initial $600 it was supposed to be, due to the fact that companies began artificially limiting their supplies, at the same time I got my tax returns. Bullshit if you ask me, cause it would've been so much better.
In other news:
Figured out which bases are mine, so, that's awesome. Lol, to clarify, they're not "my" bases, just the ones I bought for myself. So, now I can use them for my OC's like I wanted. May also use them to sell some extra stuff as well.
Also, found a much faster, simpler, and better way to do colors, and shades in photoshop. So, I'm definitely going to enjoy doing much better stuff for my characters. In fact, I've been looking at trying to improve a recently posted character as a test to see how well they compare. And, she's already pretty well done, imo. Certainly could be improved.
Also, may end up helping Vira_Spartan_711 with some of her pix. Already got her over to photoshop to help her out, and she discovered the styles function and is absolutely loving it. Eventually she'll learn the wonders of the brush. XD
Aside from that, I've been trying to continue working on my video channels, but, with the way my pc is going, I might not be able to. Gonna start with getting more RAM to see how well it all goes. Unfortunately this is going to push back my ability to get a new hard drive. Which, I realized that I'm going to need before I get to start on my videos, due to how much space I'll need.
Seriously hoping it's just the RAM, but, I honestly doubt it. I just know I need to get what I can ASAP, to avoid any excessive delays. I've been delayed for way too long on this, and I really am just tired of having to get up to go to work and having to answer to someone above me. I just want to do my own thing and be left alone.
In addition to all of this, I've been told that a bunch of people want me to start selling planet pix. If you visit my deviantart page, you can see my planet pix. Which I do want to do, but, I need to get back to doing it again, cause it's been a little while. I might still do that, at least, until the video thing kicks off. But, this all does depend on how well my pc works. We've got an extra laptop here (her old HP one), so, that could be good if the tower craps out on me.

So, PC is fucking wonderful!! And I managed to swipe GTA V at 4am before everyone crashed Epic's servers to download it, so that was entertaining when it went up as a free game.
Anyway, I had a roommate for a while (way too fucking long, imo), but, he's fucking gone now, and I am so grateful for it. He was aggravating and just, wouldn't ever shut the fuck up, among other things.
Alas, bills must be covered, but, at least i've got a part time job, and a new(~ish) roommate; Vira_Spartan_711 returned for a bit so, there's that at least. She's busy trying to sort out things on her end to settle down for bills, but, everything should be good.
So, I forgot to post a handful of pix (cause i'm me). And managed to post some up recently, including a couple i got recently.
I'm hoping that next year, I'll be able to get some more art of my characters like I want, cause, I was supposed to this year. I had so much stuff planned out, but then a walmart manager decided to be dumb. But, whatever I guess, I'll just work stuff out. As it is I owe someone stuff for a pic that I almost had late last year.
And going through some of my pms/dms/notes, or whatever the fuck they're called on this site, I've found there may be more pix I haven't posted, so, that's a fun thought. Doesnt help that I actually bought stuff from someone for personal use to just do art/sell, but, icr which one, due to the fact that I bought a bunch for Vira_Spartan_711. So, sorting that out is going to be fun.
Not to mention the fact that I've been doing stuff elsewhere to the point that I've got a crap load of art that I randomly downloaded cause it looked cool, or wanted to use it for references, mixed in with the art I've downloaded that I paid for, so.... Yeah, I'm pretty dumb there.

I had so much stuff planned out, but then a walmart manager decided to be dumb. But, whatever I guess, I'll just work stuff out. As it is I owe someone stuff for a pic that I almost had late last year.

Turns out, while good, it was lacking. And I was having trouble trying to pin it down.
Basically, it needed a background of some kind itself.
Kinda hard to pinpoint stuff at like 5 am, but, whatever I guess.
So, anyway, I was thinking, it would be kinda neat to have him against a space scene, like stars and such, cause why not?
Well, that certainly makes sense for Alyzera, but, him? Not so much.
But, I figured, what the hell.
Then I had an issue, and was like, where can I find a good space scene?
Then, duh, I make space scenes and post them to DeviantArt, so, y'know, go check those out.
So, as I was looking, I grabbed one, that, wasn't the greatest quality scene (I was messing with them at one point, and decided to layer a couple different ones together to see their effect), and decided, why not?
Can't hurt to try right?
I mean, what's the worst that's gonna happen, it looks bad?
I'm an artist, half my crap already looks bad, even if I think it's fucking amazing.

I will be doing this for those who are interested, however, due to various things going on with them, I will be charging for the pictures.
So like, simpler ones (or, at the very least, those that I deem to be simpler), will be on the lower end of costs, the more complicated ones, will definitely be on the higher end.
More characters also means more.
I'll be working out the commission info on these later, and honestly, you'll likely be seeing a few of these pop up on both mine and
Karma_Rhodin's pages.
If they pop up on Vira_Spartan_711's page, it's because it's Karma's other account, that she's using to sell stuff, and more than likely, we'll be working together on some things, and as a result will be splitting profits.
I will, however, have certain requirements for these pictures, and, eventually, hopefully, I'll also be able to just simply draw the character and such for you, and then load this sucker up as needed.
So, be on the lookout for the upcoming info, and likely, a good handful of pictures as well, because, a bunch will be interconnected and useful for commissions.
Also, to be perfectly honest, I literally have no clue if these count as commissions, cause of what's going to be set up for them, but, idk, I'll figure things out as I go along.
But, please be aware, that I'm also working a job (sadly, but, it's part time, so, there's that), and on top of that, I'm going to be dedicated to working on so many other things (game developing, video recording/editing, etc), that I might not be able to do too much, but, I'll update y'all as I go along.

Anyway, been busy trying to sort a bunch of crap out. Vira_Spartan_711/ Karma_Rhodin is moving back in, which is kinda cool imo. Currently have a roommate that's, just... Honestly, I wanna fucking kill this dumbass, but, whatever I guess. Luckily he's going to be leaving soon (allowing Vira/Karma to move back in).
Honestly, she and I have been busy with a lot of crap lately, cause we've simply been trying to sort out so much stuff. She's got a job, but, they've got some awkward hours for her for training, and then, for eventually, actually working. I on the other hand, am part time at a job, where I work at the store farthest from where I live in the city, but, I'm certainly trying to see if I can get moved over to the one directly across the street from me.
Imo: if I can just take 5 minutes to walk to work, and 5 to walk home, it will solve an insane amount of problems rather quickly. Plus, I can spend more time trying to sort out what it is I'd like to work on. Cause, car ride to where I currently work, is 15 minutes, but, it's 1 hour by bike, and, the city is fucking hilly, so, yeah, I'd rather avoid that if possible.
Anyway, unfortunately, due to my current roommate, being stupid as absolute fuck, with so much shit, I haven't really been able to do much of anything, in regards, to, well, anything. So, can't do art, cause, his job, being full of retards already, can't seem to supply him with enough hours to work, but, he outright ignores checking in with his secondary job, and constantly bitches about grubhub. However, that's on him, cause he's stupid enough to start a game that he typically dedicates like 6+ hours to in a day, right before he's supposed to start the delivery, then they make him 'work', interrupting his gaming session. So, such incredible genius IQ there.
Well, his stupidity, and constant: "what the fuck is that?", "what the hell are you playing now?", "what's that shit you're watching?", has essentially ground ***everything*** to an absolute halt for me. So, can't draw, or edit, or do art of any kind to post. And, out of respect (from way early on), I opted to not really do much, or show much of this site, cause, he's rather uncomfortable with it, but, yeah, he's just been a complete dick about shit. This has also stopped me from enjoying anywhere remotely near half the games I own (I've had to hide all of my consoles and games cause he can't handle money, and is interested in the idea, that 'I sell my stuff to cover for his dumbass wasting money on shit he doesn't need'). This, in turn, has also prevented me from even being able to record gameplay, and post videos to youtube, or even stream to twitch like I want, and, yeah, so much shit has been delayed as a result.
I'm also, currently, trying to do a lot of research into game development. At the moment, it's basically just indie stuff. I want to make and sell some games, especially, since what I was aiming for with my online store, has kinda been halted, due to the stupidness with, well, politics, among other things.
So, as a result of all of this, I've got so much crap to work on. Thing is, I've still got an assload of emails to sort through, along with this chaotically long ass list of journals and submissions on this site, among god knows what else I haven't touched in forever.
Hopefully, I can, at the very least, burn through all notifications on here, and then clear up my emails, all rather quickly. It's a lot on everything, due to lack of proper computer, and idk, time organization or something I'm sure. Kinda aggravated, cause I actually cleared up all my emails at one point, and then it was literally undone in less than a month, and I've been behind ever since. And, icr what caused it tbh.
Anyway, recap; plan is to do the following:
-clear up FA notifications
-clear out emails
-make games
-get site up and running (again, but, without relying on chinese manufacturing)
-post videos to youtube
-stream to twitch
-make & post art
please note, this is in no particular order, so, basically, it'll be done however.
Uh, so, some time ago, and tbh, icr when, Vira got me a toyhouse thingy, so, I've got that now, but, nothing's currently up, so, I'll need to work that stuff out at some point too. But, I'll link it, for whatever it's worth at least.
Also, I know vira's not been posting and such lately, she's kinda been going through, like, an absolute fuck ton of stuff (metric fuck tonne), so, once she's managed to sort a few things out, I'll do my best to guide her back to doing art, at the very least, occasionally, so that she can have something to enjoy again. She's been on WoW lately, but, because of what's happened, it's better that she just take a break and keep her mind focused on the game for now.
Also, literally, in the process of working out some characters and designs, cause, I intend to start doing art again soon. Unfortunately, however, due to the stupid ass roommate currently, the art (and all other projects), will be delayed until after he leaves. So, at least he'll be leaving soon. Just gotta get his last thing of rent, and to sort out a handful of other things in the process.

but, i'll sort through everything to the best of my ability in the coming weeks; lotsa stuff to go through.
now that the PC is finally built (and dear god it's so freaking fast), i'll be able to use it for various things.
will be gaming (literally spent the entire day so far just working it out due to corrupt installation media, and then been installing a bunch of game launchers.
Currently my pc has a very tiny (relatively speaking) SSD @120gb; vs my 4tb external drive.
Technically the pc isn't finished, but, I'll be getting the last part later. I just needed this sucker up and running asap.
If there's more checks coming out, will be grabbing it then; and, if i still have extra money, will likely aim for a bunch more drives and such. Need more RAM to fill out the slots (@16gb atm so technically not needed), and an optical drive (yes i'm ancient), but, i've got loads of things on cds so i like having an optical drive.
But i'll be using this pc for art, as well as recording and streaming as I manage to set everything up.
Currently my living room looks like someone tried to repair a server room, due to so many freaking wires and cables everywhere, but i'll sort that out as i go.

Anyway, haven't looked at journals amd subs yet, and like, I'm going to die when i finally fet back on cause there's so much stuff to go through .-.

Posted 6 years agoOkay... So, got it working again for a couple days, only for it to be bricked like, immediately after.
Thing is, the laptop still actually functions. Just. It's getting interrupted somewhere cause the thing says i need to back up the info (which I was lucky enough to finish doing right before that), but then sends me on this auto repair/diagnosis/fail loop.
Took apart the laptop (well beyond warranty according to HP, so, w/e I guess. That didn't help. Everything's good, just, no loose/broken connections it seems.
But I can reinstall Windows 10, but in order to do it, i need windows 10....
Yeah, idk how to fix it atm.
But, I plan on trying to get both it fixed, and my desktop built, so, there's that.
Cause the plan was, until I can finish building the tower, I can utilize my laptop for a ton of things. Which, in theory would help me out quite a bit. So, unfortunately, till i can figure something out, my coms or whatnot are gonna remain closed. My XP is good, but, dear God, trying to do things in Photoshop with it is a bit of a pain, especially at the scales I wanna do.

So, it's got to do all that. Luckily, I managed to finish transferring everything like I wanted, which is awesome.
And, I've got access to all my stuff again, so I'm totally going to be doing more pix and such.
Oh, and, I'll be trying for coms and ychs soon. So look out for that.
I'll need to write up an essay explaining what I'll be doing with them though, cause there's a bunch of stuff I've got to do concerning setting everything up first. But, after, I'll be open for whoever's interested.
And I will effectively be aggressively advertising (but, like, you shouldn't get spammed every day, I plan on doing once a week reminders).

Anyway, cool that FA want's to update their layout and such, but, like, could we have had a warning ahead of time?
This was just a sudden change and idk wth just happened.
And, having extra themes is kinda cool, except, there's a poor drawback:
Aurora, Dark, Retro, and Slate, like, look the freaking same....
Yes, I've tested them; and yes, I know, they're not the same. Aurora was just the better looking dark one....
I feel like they could've done so much better with it overall.
And their menu.... interestingly, is a bit better than the current one. But, was a pain for me to find where the themes were; partly cause I haven't like ever changed it since I first got on this site however long ago.
And they said they had a beta thing going on? When?!?! Never saw anything on that...
Anyway, that all said, I feel that they could really do a much better overhaul with the site. There's a bit too much contrast with with, and physically hurts to look at. And, that's not a "it's only like that for you" moment; it's a physical thing that happens when you look at both dark and light colors next to each other simultaneously, and they're competing to the point that your iris is having issues trying to compensate for the differences. The darks and shadows become black, while the lights become white.
I may play around with it, but, I feel that the way they set everything up, the contrast settings on the darker themes, are there to force people into using the lighter setting, which defeats the purpose of being able to see everything better on the darker themes.
Plus, mobile devices live better on darker themes. Not many people want to open their phones and stare into the light of God, just because they want to check a notification.
Well, hopefully, they'll keep an eye on ideas and such, so they can fix the issues that pop up.

Anyway, that all said, I feel that they could really do a much better overhaul with the site. There's a bit too much contrast with with, and physically hurts to look at. And, that's not a "it's only like that for you" moment; it's a physical thing that happens when you look at both dark and light colors next to each other simultaneously, and they're competing to the point that your iris is having issues trying to compensate for the differences. The darks and shadows become black, while the lights become white.
I may play around with it, but, I feel that the way they set everything up, the contrast settings on the darker themes, are there to force people into using the lighter setting, which defeats the purpose of being able to see everything better on the darker themes.
Plus, mobile devices live better on darker themes. Not many people want to open their phones and stare into the light of God, just because they want to check a notification.
Well, hopefully, they'll keep an eye on ideas and such, so they can fix the issues that pop up.
I knew the site needed refinement, but, idk, maybe that was a bit too much? Eh, I'll figure out how it feels later.

I guess to start, about a week ago, my laptop just completely died on me. Idk what's wrong with it exactly. I just know it stopped working in the middle of backing up my last 3 folders of stuff to an external hard drive. 1 successfully made it, but idk about the other two. Cause 1 was like 20-30gb of music, amd the other way like ~100gb of game stuff. So, yeah. But, my games never crossed over, it died part way through the music thing.
Which is seriously aggravating, cause I was doing cause I knew it was going to die anyway, I was just trying to get it done before it did.
But, I've been having problems with my laptop, cause every time I turn around to do something, it freezes up on me, and I have to force reset the thing. Then, Microsofts infinite wisdom kicks in and says it has to update when it does this.
Well, the thing is, it turns on still, but that's all it does. Unfortunately, at some point the screen got completely f***d and idk when that happened, I just know one day I opened it up, turned it on and the whole thing had cracks everywhere instead of just the left half. I do know that my cat loves to climb up onto the table the laptop is on, so, it's possible he ended up cracking it the rest od the way doing that. But, cause the screen's dead, I can't see what messages, if any, are popping up as I turn it on.
But, again, it can turn on, it just can't load the OS. But I'll see if I can get someone to check it out later, and if it's still functional, clone it directly to another drive for use that way. Then I can grab what I want, and wipe the rest. A friend from work suggests that I can use it as an external drive if I can get the adapter piece to it, so, if the drive does still work, then I'll do it that way. Cause it'll still be quite useful.
Now, I am building a new PC, and I've got the tower case, 16gb of RAM, a 120-128gb SSD for Win10, and the motherboard. I still need the OS, a 1tb HDD, the PSU, a GPU, and the CPU. A friend helped to put together a list of parts that I can get, for a ~$600 PC. It'll be useful for so many things for me, cause, I honestly can't figure out how others are capable of living off of mobile stuff so much. I'm used to the desktops, cause I have a crap ton of control over things.
Now.... Unfortunately, I've been off of FA for like the past couple of months. This is partly cause I've been in/out of depression, and just not interested in really being online with too much. On top of that, when I wasn't dealing with depression, I've been completed worn out and aggravated due to work keeping us there until 2 hours after our shift. The over time is great, but, only cause we're forcing them to actually pay us, and not taking it off like they want us to. Walmart logic.
But, as a result of being so incredibly overworked like that, the want, need, and interest to do much of anything beyond just crashing on the couch/bed just to recover, was pretty much gone. Occasionally I'd get a bit of time, but, I've just generally been too stressed out from it all. But, luckily I've got a few days to myself atm. So that's helping. Hell, even managed to seriously deep clean my apartment, so, it's a lot better now.
I'm also trying to switch Walmarts, as it's too costly to continue going to my starting store. So, I'll be able to go to a closer one amd relax some as I'm not having to spend upwards of 12 hours at a store now. Partly why I've even got any time to myself currently.
I've recently gotten a picture that one of my friends on here/discord, has sent me, so, I'll be uploading it soon. And, honestly is the reason why I'm on to post this update to begin with. As, when I got on, I've got 100k+ messages I must now contend with. While I've got another laptop I could potentially use, it's an XP, and idk how well it will work currently for getting on here to clear things up. Bad enough that I've got over 1k+ emails just on Yahoo alone that I've been trying to clean out.
As for other news: I've been trying to build my PC, because I've been wanting to play some games, but the Celeron chip in laptops is crap compared to desktop chips. So, the games I've had that were crazy powerful for XP, are still too powerful even for my Win10. Logic.
So, the plan is, I'll build the PC, and then turn around and use it for casual ("casual"), gaming, for when I just want to chill out and play games. I'll also be using for making gaming videos, of which I'll be posting to YouTube later. I've already got accounts set up for that, but have been unable to due to too many issues concerning my laptop running both games and the recording software simultaneously. This new one should be more than capable of doing this easily.
I'm also, and have been for the past couple years, building an online store. This is so I won't have to be reliant on Walmart constantly. This will be capable of letting me pull in a decent income, so that I can just leave Walmart. But, it will also allow me more time to just put towards making videos and even streaming when I get the stuff for it. This will hopefully let me have multiple streams of income, so I won't have to worry as much about bills, and having to go in to work, even when sick. Though, I probably will anyway, simply cause it'll just be in the corner of my living room for a while. I have plans for beyond this, but I'd certainly like for this to all kick in before then so that I can focus on those and be much better off.
But, for now, and unfortunately idk how long, I'll be off of FA, except every so often, as doing so via tablet/phone is just super problematic for me. So, I'm afraid that if y'all want anything like the egg base I've got, it may have to wait for a bit. I'll figure something out though.

Trying to set up stuff for recording gameplay and commentary.
Will be on YouTube first, but, will work on things for Twitch as well.
So, if for some reason my interaction on this site begins to drop (more so than it already has) that's why.
I've got many parts of it set up already, but, I've still got to finish setting up the rest.
Currently stuck on the recorder picking up the game audio at ~2-3x my speaking volume. Once that's been worked out I can actually start posting stuff.
I've got a crazy list of games to go through, and enough that I could probably do 1 video a day for several months before I run into any problems.
I'm also going ot be playing a ton of old and obscure games. Not because it's a recommended thing to do (it's actually not from a lot of other streamers/posters), but, simply because, I've got them, and I've loved playing them, so, I'm going to record and post those.
Parts will generally be recorded per level; and for the more open ended games, simply a 10-20 (or even 30) minute video will be made for them.
I'll post my links to them later as I get further along with this process. :3

Posted 6 years agoSorry bout the fave spamming. Havent *actually* been on for over a month till a few days ago, so, I ended up building up something like 17k subs. Been clearing them out as I go.
Egg is still up for sale, for those who are wondering.
Other news: I hate the HP/Windows combination, cause, in 1 day, I've had to restart my laptop like 5x, pissing me off more each time.
1st was just aggravating (standard windows update), then after that was just the system constantly locking up on me, and forcing me to do a hard reset by popping out the battery.
Good news: I have an external monitor, so I can see everything in 1080p now, instead of making my neck sore from trying to stare up at my tv from the floor. Built in screen however, is still busted, cause companies insist on putting in the whole "warranty void if removed" nonsense. Not the actual sticker in this case, just some crap that if you attempt to remove the screen to fix it, you'll break the thing forcing you to spend 3x the original cost of the laptop to get it fixed.... (literally like 40$ to replace the screen on a 150$ pc if I do it myself)
Um... reason why I was off the site for so long, was simply cause my interest just dropped really. Nothing wrong with the site, I'm just going insane from basically not being able to do much outside of wake up, go to work, come home and watch youtube on my day off :/
I need something better....

Vira_Spartan_711/ Karma_Rhodin and I will be using them for some characters that we'll be making and selling. We're gonna start off with some basic ones for our characters/sonas. I've already posted one for our sonas' daughter Gwenivyre (daughter of Alyzera and Alaunus).
The egg was fairly simple, but, took me a bit of time to actually do the more basic parts that are required for it. It also comes with a glowing effect layer, for any eggs you may wish to have glow because of characters who have parts that glow naturally.
Unfortunately, I don't have the detail on it that I'd like, which is some minor textures showing that it's something like a dragon egg for dragon characters.
If you wish to use it, you must credit me for the base. Please forgive me, if it takes me a while to send it to you, as my job has crap hours for the day (poorly placed in the day more than anything), and I've got stuff to do on my days off fairly regularly. I will do what I can to get them out to you as quickly as possible, preferably within a week. Though, I may end up taking some days off from time to time.
