We are FINALLY all moved in and I'm back to work starting today, so our moving fundraiser is now closing! thank you to everyone who helped us out in any way, especially those who donated, but even those who just shared our social media posts. regarding this journal - WE REACHED THE GOAL!! Thank you all SO much, necessary expenses have been covered, and just in time.

Commissions will remain open as I work through my queue, so that I can gather funds for other expenses this month and hopefully put some aside as savings for a planned move this year. If you want to keep up with commission openings, I usually announce them on my Twitter, Bluesky, and Discord - but they are often open by default. I may open some quick turnaround slots today or tomorrow, to treat my partner to a nice birthday dinner this weekend <3

I have until the end of this week to get together the rest of our rent (about $450 left), and two weeks to get together enough for the last of 2024's quarterly taxes ($1,200) and the power bill ($170).

Altogether, I need almost $2k in two weeks.

Everything of what I make goes towards necessities for me and my partner, and the past few months finances have been very tight, so I was unable to put anything aside for these taxes like usual.

I've currently got unlimited slots for commissions open until these expenses are covered, and every kind of commission type is open starting as low as $40 - I can draw humanoids, anthros, dragons, creatures, Pokemon, Digimon, etc, and offer a lot of options like icons, badges, Pokemon card YCHs, fullbodies, custom designs, and more!

I also have a Patreon and Ko-fi which I offer memberships on for fun rewards, and members get discounts on my shops, commissions and adopts. My Ko-fi also has a shop with digital goods like lineart bases, and my Big Cartel has physical goodies like stickers and prints. I wanted to provide those who'd like to support me an alternative to my Patreon, what with their upcoming addition of app fees and changing payment schedules. So, membership tiers will be coming back to Ko-fi!

The tiers' prices and rewards are mirrored from Patreon, so both audiences will receive the same content. We're about $160 short on rent which is due today... not to mention we need groceries and pet supplies - and our dog has a vet appointment next week which we need to pay for plus transportation costs as we don't have a car.
