---> I don't need either... or really am a girl that goes for those things. Though I do think real flowers are pretty and I do love spicy chocolate or chocolate dipped fruit. But heck I appreciate doodles on paper as long as it's something sincere. I'm not hard to impress.

---> Nope. Don't really care for it personally... it's VERY commercialized and it really has no true meaning behind it since I think it's silly for couples that constantly fight to like each other for that one day. If you really love each other... love each other daily. It's hard to find real love.

---> I have

I think there's a line that can get to the point of "get a room" but if there isn't drool and dry humping I don't see why not... you aren't hurting anyone. It really depends on what the individual sees PDA as... kisses, hugs, and cutesy cuddles... no biggie. I admit that I'm a cuddler.

7.0 Earthquake in Haiti kills in the 100 thousands
Posted 16 years agoA few of you know that I'm strongly into politics and global issues and if you haven't heard there was just a MAJOR 7.0 earthquake in Haiti yesterday... With the documented death toll in the 100,000s as of now and they are still clearing and pulling out survivors and the deceased.
Just in case people don't know much about Haiti, my father is actually from Port du Prince... and yes I have family there but I have never met them or talked to them. My grandmother sent them money when she was alive as my father does in respects to her. So I did some research since I'm half
(I'm biracial: Caucasian and Haitian), know that it's a VERY poor country, and my father didn't share much about his life with us... This is one of the issues a portion of my etsy shop sales goes to donating for.
My father kept a lot from us about a lot of things but he didn't talk to us about Haiti due to that fact that he was rather ashamed and figured he would get poorly treated if people knew due to the prejudices against Haitians because of their poverty and religious practices. He moved here when he was young and was already made fun of for his name and accent. But he went to school in New York and served for a good amount of time in the US Navy.
Haiti is a Caribbean country that was founded by the slaves that rioted against the french masters. The Caribbean was once one of the three major ports that was in slave trade. They speak Creole which is a cross of French and African. It's unfortunately THE poorest country in the western hemisphere and has a illiteracy rate of 65% and 75% of the citizens are unemployed. They are also known for having one the largest child slave markets due to the lack of incomes and education opportunities. $300 a year is considered wealthy there. So they definitely need a lot of help other then just with the Earthquake BUT
IF anyone would like to or know anyone who would like to donate, you can text "Haiti" to 90999 and it will donate 10 dollars through the red cross (simply added to your phone bill) to help with the efforts. Or donate 5 dollars through Yélé Haiti Wylcef (yele was a member of the former band the fugees) by texting "yele" to 501501.

Posted 16 years ago1. I screen my calls... if I missed the phone and didn't text you back at least... I screened my call or am dead (which isn't possible)... do you really want to know.
2. I may not look like it but I eat relatively right and exercise daily.
3. I usually seem composed be quiet but I'm really a silly goose.
4. I'm easy to get along with but don't have the best social skills.
5. I like card games and d20 rpgs but I either don't know how to play or have very little playing experience (didn't have very many play mates growing up and my dm in college sucked).
6. I got my first kiss when I was 20 (almost 21). Yeah I'm a dork... I know.
7. Action movies turn me on.
8. I'm far better at drawing realistically than cartoons because I've been doing it FOREVER... so I've been trying now that I'm an adult... lol.

I will check in like I normally do but I will be illustrating a children's book and the writer is looking for a June publication. Plus I still have to work on my anime costume for the convention I'm attending next month and I needs my play time since all work and no play makes a grumpy person. So I'll be using my art time hours for the book.

Posted 16 years agoI caught a bug a few days ago... and not a bug with buggly legs... a cough cough... achey bug.
Had a sore throat and a fever... and an ear achies... so the doctor gave me a super antibiotic for my ear and my fever and stuffs. So I should be betters soon.

You will receive a sketch before inking (1st sketch is no charge... $5 for any dramatic changes: meaning you want something entirely different. You asked for a seated figure and now want someone standing... basically a new sketch. if you are happy with it it will be inked when payment is received).
