Modeling and 3d printing
Posted 10 years agoSo as people may know I've been for the most part working with blender (and switching over to a free Cad program) And I have a thing for sci fi.
Well I've been interested in the longest time in model making (used to collect warharmmer for the minis) And well I think It's time to step into 3d modeling and printing. However I don't have a 3d printer, and I don't want to send out and have something printed that may not come out right and I won't know until it's mailed back that Tab A doesn't fit into Tab B and I can't make it fit and look right.
So I need to step forwards and either build a 3d printer from scratch Or by a starter printer for about 400 USD.
That's why I'm posting, I'm thinking about starting a go fund me or pateron (sp?) account. I'm not sure yet what I could offer someone who want to subscribe and help me that way. As a free 3d print would be a bit much, since the plastic isn't cheap, also shipping. Maybe the option of buying a 3d model of mine they like? or allowing them to have free downloads of my work?
I don't really have much of a following and I'm not sure how many will even look at this here, But if you do and want to comment that will be lovely.

Lonely heart blues
Posted 11 years agoBlah got into a funk again, not too bad of one, just feeling lonely and wanting to find someone to be with. It happens I guess, anyways I'm planning on getting some more stuff drawn here in a week or so.
I'm back
Posted 11 years agoI'm back from a long funk. I've been drawing again. I have a tablet as my last post had told you and I've been using it. I don't have anything finished yet, but I'll put up a sketch of my and my Avian friend and lover I worked on last night. (by no means finished mind you) I still have a lot to learn, but I'm feeling hopeful.

Posted 12 years agoHappy Holidays (I really mean Christmas, since it's the one holiday that even non Christians have, Speaking about non religious people that most furs fall under.)
Anyways Even if I had a rough year, doesn't mean I can't wish the best of luck to people.
One good update, I was able to get my drugs for cheap, and started taking them yesterday, hopefully they will help.
Another good update, After I get back from my grandmothers I will be installing a nice new Bamboo splash, I did a quick search on it and seems to be a good one, having 4.5 stars on most of the websites. The only issue I can think of with it is that I'm worried it will get damaged easily since I do have a habit of keeping a very messy desk. Anyways, I'll likely update my FA with some of my stuff, just don't expect me to be very good, It's been years since I last held a pencil to draw.
Also I know it's a few days late, but happy lack of the end of the world. I know some of you out there was hoping for the end, and I was kind of hoping it, but it was just a turning of a page (A very heavy stone page for the Mayans). I know people have been predicting the end of the world for a long long ass time. The fact is two things. The first being that you just can't seem to keep humans down, The only thing humans had going for them was their brains, They had no natural weapons, they had no fur to keep warm, Their senses are far from being good when you look at the animal kingdom. Hell out bodies even try to kill themselves. Yet we are roughly 8 billion strong and growing. This speaks of a race who can and will survive by any means it can.
Anyways enough of my ramblings Enjoy your Holidays what ever they may be.

My grandmother house was broken into
Posted 12 years agoMy grandmothers house was broken into today. I don't know if it would have mattered if they were home today or not. I'm just glad no one was hurt. How ever Christmas has basically been ruined for my family this year. As it is already we are lucky to have a roof over our heads.
As it has been this year has been nothing but shit. I know it's not new, but because of the house market bubble that popped, The house value we live in went from a respectable value to us in debt for it, I'm not sure how much but it was insane.
My mom was with my little brothers husband, who was helping pay for the house, he cheated and now only being charged 80$ for child support a week because he switches job more times than anything.
So, asides from my tablet I was getting for Christmas was stolen, (the only reason I know i'm getting a tablet is because it came in the mail after the break in and I saw it). I was their when they filed the claim and they will only be getting about half the value of what was taken.
We are talking 2 laptops (one was my brothers) A nice Digital cam (not sure the name or make) 3k in cash, and it was either 1.5k or 15k in jewelry (I heard 15 something) It wouldn't surprise me that it's the later as she had mostly gold chains with pendents. I'm not sure what else they had taken.
I don't really know why I'm even posting this, I guess to vent right now, as I'm really hating humanity right now. I'm not a fur that says they hate humanity lightly, nor do I not take me out of being human or furs in general as lets face it, furs are no less scummy than the rest of the hominids.

Posted 13 years agoI've had this account for a while now I guess but I think it's time that I finely fill it in some. I know I have no watchers at this point, but who knows maybe I will at some point. I do want to give the warning that I may not update every often as I tend to be distracted by other things at time.
Right now I have a few projects. Right now I'm on the planning stage of making a ship in SL using mesh. I'm still learning Blender so it will be a hit or miss event I'm sure. I'm also toying with some other writings than what I have now. I don't know if I want to keep doing the WWC (what will come) but if people start showing some interest in me doing more I will.
I guess that's it for now. Maybe I'll upload some screen shots of some of the things I have made in SL.
