But you see, I really love writing. And my brain is strange. So sometimes I get ideas. And sometimes I wonder about Cliches. And I know that if given the same prompt, two people can make totally different stories.

Should you choose to seek him out, traveler, be cautious. His control over his domain is absolute - and he is known to turn visitors into naught but playthings for his amusement and to satisfy his perverse desires.

You're not certain why you agreed to this.

As you step past the door and into the supposedly haunted manor, you feel a chill in the air that makes you shiver. The room seems unnaturally dark. Even the light that filters in from the doorway ends only a few feet in front of you, and try as you might, you can't make out anything more than that.

You take another step in, your body trembling — and the door slams shut behind you. Of course it slams shut behind you. You wonder why you didn't leave a wedge in the door; it seems a sensible thing to do, considering all the horror movies you've watched.

Too late for that now, unfortunately. You try to fumble for a flashlight, but there isn't a need. The lights flicker on, bathing the room in a dim light.

It's only then that you notice the floorboards have warped. Tendrils of wood pull themselves out of the manor's floor, and right as you notice them, they lash around your legs, trapping you in place. Your eyes widen with fear.

"No need to ssstruggle, honored guessst." The voice is a strange, whispering hiss, and your eyes dart around as you hear the sound. It seems to echo from all around you. "You will enjoy thisss very much, I promissse..."

Hey, this is Canis. I'm more of the 'stay-at-den' wolf to Blizzard's social butterfly (dragonfly? Eh). But.. I had an idea inspired both by his YCH and the season. I hope you enjoy. :)

Costume parties have long been a staple of the season, pumpkin booze, creepy sweets for those too old to chase candy through doors. And amongst them, the Party in the bed and breakfast atop the hill is the most coveted and exclusive party in the area.

Stories are told of that place, people've seen vampires, werewolves, all kinds of creatures. But surely they're just stories for the season. Maybe drummed up by the family who owns the place to get some extra businesses from thrill seekers...

The Payment goes through PayPal and the Starting Bid (SB) is $5 for each slot, with incrementals of $1. No Auto-Buy!
