Thanks to everyone who supported me in the previous magazine. I would like to answer everyone, but after trying to answer one person, I realized that I was starting to cry again. (sorry)
Now I am more or less stable and therefore I can make an extended post.

So many people supported me all this time, and to my regret I did not always respond (due to language and the fact that I was overwhelmed) I really am very grateful to you all for your support! This was important to me.

I'm glad I had the time. As long as I went to veterinary clinics and spent time with Tosha, I was able to go through all the phases of accepting the inevitable. I managed to meet many people on the Internet and in reality who went through feline viral leukemia in their pets and lost their pets or continue to fight this disease.
It is no one's fault that my boy got this disease from his mother. And I can’t blame the elderly woman from whom I took him into my house; I don’t think she even knew that cats have such diseases.
The last week was just... like a bad dream, we fed him what he likes and monitored his behavior.
The farewell was calm, he just fell asleep and didn’t wake up, there were no seizures or anything like that (I saw this during the euthanasia of a rabbit), I was with him until the very end.
Tosha will forever remain in my heart, his stupid playful bites, the scar on my hand, the demanding meow when I crumple receipts from the store (God cat, why is this your favorite toy?) The way he sleeps on the roof of the shipshilla cage in a basket. And how he builds pyramids from filler in a pot. How he sleeps on my tablet, not allowing me to draw, and lies on the window asking to scratch his striped belly. And how Tosha for some reason dug into flower pots in order to dig up bulbs.

My cat Antony (Tosh) is 11 months old. - Anemia! Against the background of feline viral leukemia (presumably) He is on the verge of death.
At the moment - we got time! My veterinarian and I found donor blood of type A, and now we need another 100 ml
Price for 50 ml blood - 200-500 dollars (There is not enough blood! It's the Tick ​​season! Every bag counts!)
I am looking for donor cats in my city and district, and have not found any yet.

up1- The cat walked to his toilet on his own (before that, I carried him, because he lacked strength) and ate dry food well (before that, he only ate soft food with difficulty)He's still weak, but he's clearly doing better after the first transfusion.

Up2 -
Today he will have a follow-up blood test and another drip, and this will tell us whether we need more blood. I hope not. We are also waiting for a test to confirm leukemia.
I guess I should explain.
I took Anthony from an elderly woman, based on an advertisement on an advertisement website. I know that he has a brother. When the disaster happened, I looked at this woman’s reviews and discovered that they left her a review with a photo of a kitten, which, based on age and dates, fits the role of Anthony’s brother. The one who left the review said that the kitten has viral leukemia. I have communicated this information to our veterinarian and therefore a test for this infection is a priority.
UP3- At the moment we do not need a second transfusion, the next control test is on the 17th. (And I hope that a donor will not be needed) We are waiting for the result of the test for the leukemia virus. Tosha is lethargic, but is already showing resistance when the doctors hold him.
But my vet bills are still high!

Up4 - FelV - found in DNA, absent in RNA (that's good news). We are waiting for the second analysis; therapy will depend on it. Tosh is active, spanked the dog and bit me, and started playing with papers. My panic recedes. We are waiting for control blood test 17 to confirm that the kitten produces its own blood. Temporarily stopped the iron supplement to monitor for potential stomach bleeding (iron makes poop BLACK and we need to know about the color change)

UP5- We are waiting for a control blood test to see how the donor blood is taking root. I pray to the cat gods that Anthony has definitely started generating blood cells on his own and we won’t need any more transfusions. And so that he doesn’t have to do a spinal tap

UP6 - Tosha does not produce his own red blood cells, hemoglobin and his hematocrit is 13.3. On the 20th there is another blood test, I hope for positive changes, but for now I see how the cat’s gums, tongue and ears are slowly turning pale. I'm preparing to say goodbye and am in all the "stages of accepting the inevitable" alternately.

on the advice of people from a local chat for cat lovers who had encountered this disease in cats, I decided to consult an infectious disease specialist. Despite the low hemoglobin, the cat is still active and eating well, today there is a new blood test and I will go to the clinic on the other side of the city. Of course, I’m not holding out hope, because the main veterinarians have never let me down, but for my conscience it’s better to be 100% sure, what if that “lethal” analysis was wrong?

UP8 -The infectious disease specialist prescribed therapy for us, but whether it will help or not depends on the response time of the cat’s body. Also, tomorrow Tosha has another blood transfusion (I found a donor, this also costs about $150, but at least it’s not such a terrible amount as in blood banks) But this is our last attempt. because If the therapy doesn’t help Tosh start producing his red blood cells, that’s the end.

The transfusion was successful (we were transfused with 47 ml of blood, unfortunately we couldn’t get more from the donor) Many thanks to the cat Nonna and her owner! Today Tosha feels good, he ate with appetite and even fooled around, we are already carrying out therapy, and within a week it will be clear whether it has an effect or not. 27 control blood test and I hope that he will not lose many donor red blood cells.
As the doctor explained to us, his anemia developed very slowly, which is why he adapted and therefore his low levels do not make him feel completely ill for a very long time.

The results taken on the 30th are disappointing, today is another blood test, and I hope that the therapy has started to work. But most likely these are empty hopes. But Tosha feels good, plays and eats boiled liver with appetite (we decided to feed him what he loves most, because the prognosis is disappointing, and he really loves boiled liver)
