The last time I wrote a journal was in 2014! A lot of things have happened since.

I will be posting new work as well as updating/pushing my Patreon. It's been a long while and I know a lot of you might find it surprising that I've posted a journal. To be honest I forget about it all time. Plus, when I do think I should post I'm mopey and don't want to whine so I decide not too. Since I'm in a good mood tonight, even though I should be in bed, I thought it would be nice to update my journal. This year I missed out on getting a table for Anthrocon. It's very sad for me and I'm really counting on getting more commissions to afford going to the con. That's where this page and all my other online locations come in. If you didn't know I'm mostly on Tumblr & twitter. Pretty under the radar on all my online pages tho. Since the weather is warming up I guess it's about time I start turning up the heat. More arts and rattling cages. Expect a journal about a commission drive soon. I'm also hoping to reconnect with my friends. Following ya'll and tumblr stalkin isn't enough. I gotta pull my weight. It's still stupid cold here and I've managed to get myself into a personal mess! I haven't really been posting much anyways but I wanted to let ya'll know I'll be away from dA, FA, and weasyl for about a month or so? Or until I've sorted things out. I'll still be posting on my tumblr & twitter so you can keep tabs on me there. If you send me any notes, comments, watches, or faves I won't get em until I'm back. I guess this is my fight or flight kicking in and when there is no point in fighting you take the fastest way out. Fear not! I'm alright and so many ideas and feelings are rushing through me right now I'm sure it'll help me produce something good! If I've learned anything in the last few months from my loved ones, you gotta take care of yourself and do what makes you happy. So that's what I'm doing right now. If you really need me I'll try my best to be there for you but for right now, I'll just be off on my own. Thanks!

So I told That_Monotrile to post her wishlist and she did. So now I'm posting mines.

Step 1

Well, the summer is coming to a close and I've put away the summer special. Thanks to those who commissioned me! I hope to do another one in winter. Maybe I'll catch more attention that time around.

I moved in to my new apartment and still unpacking. It is cute and the girls I'm living with are nice. I hope to achieve great things while I'm here.

My monthly horoscope told me it would be a hard month. I'm the kind of person that says "Oh yea?! I'll show you! I'ma kick ass and have an awesome month!" So I work extra hours and take extra shifts. My commissions are still open. Yet, I'm still coming up way short. I need several hundred dollars for a down payment on a new apartment and money to pay for my hotel stay at Otakon. Oh, and food. I'm trying not to panic and I do hope to have everything sorted out soon.

Other then that, life is peachy. I have a great family, boyfriend, and friends. I've been skating and moving around more. Started packing and sorting things for Otakon and moving. Thanks for stopping by. I'll be posting some work soon.

I had a great time at Anthrocon this year! Sadly I was a bit moody and hyper at odd times thanks to mother nature. I'm super sorry to anyone I was snappy too. I understand that karma is a circle and what comes around goes around. So I'll try not to whine too much when someone yells at me for no reason. That is, if I don't yell right back at them. -Sigh- Other then that the con was amazing! So many great furries and artist. I met a bunch of new people and drew so much this weekend! Haha, I also played a lot of Pokemon Black. I'll be trying to catch them all now.

Doing ok in New York. Ace is doing fine! Thanks everyone for your support. I've been uploading the finished commission on my dA page. Looking for a job continues. I'd like to work from home so when Ace finally comes to live with me, I can have him with me. Or find a studio that will let me take him with me. Anymahoot, still open for commissions. I'll be posting again sometime soon.

When you take your dog to get fixed you can ask them to pull any baby teeth out. For some small dogs this is a must. If not, their teeth can become infected or crowd the mouth making it painful for them when they eat.

This is what is happening to Ace. I was just informed by my family that he hasn't been eating properly the past few days. When they took him to the groomer she told them his gums were all swollen when she tried brushing his teeth. I wanted to cry because I know this could have been prevented had I taken Ace to get his surgery last year.

Anyways my family is unable to pay for the surgery at this time so it is up to me to get the money and transfer it to them so he can get this done as quickly as possible. I'm still struggling to make rent and pay bills so it isn't going to be easy.

It is too late to start a valentine's day art card drive but I'll do some $10 full cg images of a single character with no background. PayPal only. The surgery is $150 dollars so I'll have 20 slots open for these fully colored commissions. The extra $50 I make will go to my parents so they can buy food or pay for any extra medication he might need.

Thanks so much in advance for anyone willing to commission me on such short notice. Also, if you can't commission me, can you tell other people you know about this commission drive? Spreading the word would be just as helpful as commissioning me.

I know Ace is just a dog and he isn't even living with me right now but he is very special to me. Thank you.

Hello,

Haven't updated my journal in months now. I've been living in New York since September. Now for the holidays I'm back home in Tampa. I'll be back in New York January 1st.

It's so nice to be with my family and Ace, my dog. I'd really like to take him back with me but I don't have enough money to. Hopefully I'll get a better job soon and be able to send money home for some one to fly him up to me.

Oh well. I'm sure everyone else in the world is having sob stories of not having enough money. Hopefully the next post I have will be sooner.

Yup. I'll be moving to New York next weekend. It's an opportunity I would be foolish to pass up. For a whole year I've been struggling to find that better job or that new chance for myself. For a whole year I've felt stuck and discouraged. This is very sudden. SO sudden.

I was literally asked by Jordan on Monday night if I would be willing to move in with him in New York. I said, "probably not." After a discussion with my family members and some friends on Tuesday I called and said, "Sure sign me up!" But at that time someone else was looking into moving in already! What was I to do?

So I went to my interview today and on the way I get a text message saying that other person backed out. The room is mine. I sent in the money just now and I'll be talking to the landlord tomorrow. My family will be taking me and Ace up next weekend. So much to do. I feel sick. This is a different direction. It wasn't charted on my mental map. While I'm super happy to be moving forward I feel sad leaving all my new friends and job so suddenly.

My boss has been nothing but awesome to me and even though I whine about work all the time it hurts me to hafto quit so suddenly. I hope she understands.
