Been settling into my first apartment pretty nicely over the last few months, hard to believe I've been officially living on my own for six months! It's felt like so much shorter, and I've learned so much about myself in this time. Ready to tackle 2019 with even more big goals to come!

Life Update; I moved!

As of Monday, I'm officially living in my first apartment! It's scary and exciting all at the same time. It's not the perfect place yet, but I'm eager to see what I can do with it ^^
In the meantime, I'll be pulling an overhaul on work (even more than the last few weeks LMAO) and hoping to open for more commissions more steadily! Maybe even start doing commission streams, if that's something that interests folks. I know for sure I need to do more personal stuff and gifts too, WEH I've been too busy ;w;
I wanna thank y'all for your patience with me through this time, expect more updates and content soon enough~

I'm back in school for the semester, so art once again will be slowed a bit while I get used to this class schedule and work. I'm working as fast as I can in the meantime.
This month I'll also be getting my first car! Big exciting milestone, hoping to take some more slots after I complete current ones in order to cover some extra fees so keep an eye out for that~
I'm also very excited to say that
will be visiting me later this month to go to ANE! It'll be wonderful having my best friend up here to explore Boston for the first time. :)
That's really... all for now, haha! Thank you for reading.

Posted 8 years agoSo as of a week ago, my laptop is officially dead. The motherboard is fried, so the only option I have is to purchase a new one. I am currently in the process of doing so, it is extremely costly but I will not be taking any new digital commissions until I get it and get my current queue handled. The current queue is still there, I have not forgotten about any of ya! Just don't have the means to work on anything right now. >< My sincerest apologies!

Commissions will continue throughout this week; I have to rush my fursuit reference for an opening I need to make this month but besides that it's all commission work until my queue empties out! I plan to open back up once I've taken out most of it.

Posted 9 years agoA lot's happened since my last post, so lemme fill you all in!
So, my family and I are still without a car. We've been able to borrow other peoples' cars for a few weeks now, but we really need to get our own. Waiting to hear back from the insurance company and get started on the car buying process.
Also, two weeks ago I broke up with my boyfriend of three years in order to better myself. I've been in a really bad mental place for a while, and I needed space to improve and work on myself. We are still friends, so no hard feelings! <3
I also don't update here often anymore with commission openings because frankly, face it: nobody really reads FA journals, LOL. Especially where now I'm taking daily warmup commissions to work on before I start on my larger owed works (which I haven't forgotten about btw! I just had a very rough September and I'm starting to pick up the pieces now and get to work on everything) and those smaller slots fill within the hour. If anybody is interested in getting slots first, please follow my twitter, dragonessdrei for those types of updates!

Emergency Cheebo Commissions, please read
Posted 9 years agoI really didn't want to open so soon, but after work I got news that my parents had gotten into a car crash on the highway and the car is totaled, which was our only one. We have to get the car towed back to our place as tow yards charge massive amounts of money for storage, so I'm opening for $25 cheebos to cover some of their losses at the very least. I am still very shaken, but at the very least I am glad that my parents and my dog are okay.

Life Update
Posted 9 years agoWanted to get that icon queue off of my front page since my icon commissions are closed now, so here's an update on what's going on!
I just started the fall semester at my university, so aside from my current queue of commissions, I am CLOSED. I plan to work through my list really quickly, so by the end of the month I will begin opening for super limited slots of certain things to bring in some extra money. Besides those slots, YCHs will be the only other main thing to grab when I offer them. I will also be doing Furpocalypse and MFF pickup badge orders, so keep your eyes peeled for those dates when I announce them! <3
I'm really excited to be back in school, this semester is gonna be a big deal for me and I'll be doing a lot to improve myself this time!! I'll try to keep myself active on here aside from commissions with trades and personal art, because I want to find new ways to improve my style and keep my stuff fresh and good for all of you on here. :)

Posted 9 years agoSo, if you're following my Twitter feed, you'll know I've been trying to work this summer to make money for my first ever car! This is a huge deal for me, as I've had to be fully dependent on my father for daily errands and activities, which is a toll on him with the situation my family is in.
That being said, if this Iron Artist is successful, I'll have most of the funds needed to get the car that my father and I have been researching that fits what I need in a car! Each slot for this Iron Artist is one icon, so you are able to buy more than one slot if you want to buy more than one icon!
