I do have one more story planned for the Mischief Night Series. I have a basic idea of some plot points I want to hit, but I haven't found an ending a like yet. So if you want to suggest something, please do so in the comments, and maybe I'll work it it. But that will be the last story for that series. However, I do have some other stores planned for the larger Djinn Chronicles world as well.

I also have two other serial world story ideas that I would love to start someday. One will be following a shape-shifter/changling as they discover their new powers, grow up. The other will be a more sci-fi nano tech TF themed storyline following a bunch of mostly disconnected stories. I may end up starting one of those before I get the final Mischief Night story done. Let me know in the comments if you would prefer one of the other?

Sooo I haven't really stopped writing, I just shifted what I was writing. Been hosting two home brew D&D campaigns, and creating your own world from scratch is a LOT of writing. I haven't really forgotten about this, though out of sight, out of mind, does come into a play a bit. Unfortunately these days I know I have very little time to devote to writing these stories then I did when I first started. So I can't say for sure when, or how often I will be posting.
BUT I do have some good news, in that the story part of Chapter 4 is completed. All that's left is to tweak a few scenes, and do some final proofreads and spelling/grammar checks, and then it will be ready to post. Shooting for the end of the month... *Fingers Crossed* I hit that target.

Wow, so I was right on the money with my estimate on when I would finish this chapter. I actually finished it on the first day of spring. But I still had to proof read it a few times before I would publish it. I did something a little different with this one. The story is told from the point of view of the victims, but since they were both drugged, they didn't notice everything that was happening to them. I added some details here and there to clue the reader in, but for the most part it's a little lite on the TF descriptions. I felt that fit the story more, but it's not my usual style. I'm curious what you may think of it? Please let me know in the comments.

Work has already begun on chapter 4, and I am hoping to get it done by the end of summer. Admittedly that may be a very optimistic timeline, and it may be closer to the end of the year. However, I will try and stick to it as much as I can. If I don't get it done this year, I may publish the start of another series instead. But I'll try and post some updates before that happens. Anyways, comments are always greatly appreciated.

So I may have been really excited to finally finish writing chapter 2 of Mischief Night, and rushed the proofreading part a bit. At 30 pages, it's almost 3 times longer than chapter 1, and probably twice as long as chapter 3 will be. I may come back to it someday and edit/tweak some parts as I'm not 100% happy with it, but I think it works for right now. What do you think?

Chapter 3 is coming along nicely and I'm really hoping to have it done by spring, summer at the latest. Chapter 4 is where things may slow down a bit as I haven't really finished where I want that story to go. And Chapter 5 is only a thought at this point. I may switch to one of my other planed series at that point while I figure out how this one ends.

Good news everybody, chapter 2 of Mischief Night is done! Well the writing is done. Now comes the fun part of proofreading, doing edits and tweaks to make sure it's good and ready for posting. Hopefully that won't take much longer and then it will be posted!!
As a side note, chapter 3 is 75% written at the moment as well. So hopefully the time frame between the next two chapters won't be so long next time.

Wow, I don't know what I was thinking when I thought I could get the longest chapter of this story done in a month.... I think that underestimation of how much was left to write really put me off finishing it. Finally finishing the first chapter made me think there wasn't much left... even though in reality it was only 30% done. Anywho, I'm like 60% done at the moment. Hoping to finish chapter 2 before the end of the year. Then chapter 3 won't be far behind as that's 80% done as well.
Comments would help to motivate me to finish it faster :-D

I'm hoping that if I write this down somewhere, it will make me more likely to keep to it.

I have most of the next 2 chapters of Mischief Night written already. I just gotta do some clean up/proofreading/polishing etc before posting. And then there's at least 2 more chapters in that series before I move on to another planned series. All in all I have at least 15 stores planned out over the span of 3 different series.

To help me build up a queue, and build some suspense/wait for my next stories, I'm going to try to post 1 story a month. Since my first story was posted near the end of March, I'm thinking I'll keep to that schedule, and post a new story at the end of each month.

if I can keep that up I'll post a more exact schedule of when I plan for specific stories to come out.
