General | Posted 10 years agoAbout an hour ago (may have been longer, but most sources I've found says an hour ago) that Google has announced that Google+ will NO LONGER be a requirement for signing up for site like YouTube, and they will start the proccess with YouTube!!

It's about damn time Google!!! This was the stupidest idea you ever did, pairing G+ with YouTube!
G+ was paired with YouTube to decrease the spam that was on YouTube, but instead it did the opposite cause G+ made it easier to SPREAD spam. So I'm glad to see that Google finally came to their sences.
It's gonna be a while til they are unpaired, but it's about time that it's happening.

Thought about a new commission payment
General | Posted 10 years agoI've begun to notice more and more people have been wanting commissions, but they don't have a PayPal or the like to pay for them. So I've been thinking of a new commission payment.
And I was thinking of Amazon Gift Cards as another way of payment. Amazon Gift Cards are available pretty much everywhere.
But payment with the gift cards will be different than paying with PayPal.
I'm still thinking about doing this, but tell me what you guys think. Think is a good idea for more people who don't have PayPal or the like to get commissions?

Slight update
General | Posted 10 years agoHeyo everyone. Just wanna do some quick updates
1. Commissions I owe ARE getting worked on and WILL be done. I have not forgotten them. Just have had a long art block and A LOT to do at work, which hasn't had me much time to draw, but I'm slowly getting back into it, so don't worry.
2. I am not giving up art and just getting commissions as from the recent post of commissioned works that my mate or myself have gotten from other artists. I just don't have anything done or ready to have my own works posted yet.
3. I am working on an animation for my mate to be like a late anniversary gift/early birthday gift and such. I've taken the music from the Markiplier 8 million video cause I just think it fits with what I wanna do with it.
4. I plan to do a Markiplier animation for his 10 million subscriber milestone (which he is predicted to reach by Christmas this year, so I'll be starting on that soon)
5. I am still working on those old raffle pics I STILL owe. I will be going back and redo them since I haven't touched them in so long and my style has changed since I started them.
6. Most important!! Hanu is in trouble and could use some help, He is gonna loose his internet if he doesn't pay his bill by July 19th. He's reaching out for help cause the government has taken more money and now is unable to pay it. He's set up a Go Fund Me page to raise money ( http://www.gofundme.com/ybn8rs ) so that he can keep his internet up for at least a year. So go help him out if you can, or at least spread the word.

A little help
General | Posted 11 years agoOkay, so around 1 AM this morning when i get home from work i find a bill from my cellphone provider.
I open it up and find that I'm being charged $136 cause I changed my cellphone plan which is take effect on the next billing cycle which is the 22nd.
The bill was due on the 22nd due to the change, but instead I have til the 16th to pay it with money I dont have.
So I'm asking for some help by commissions. I dont normally ask like this, but my scooter and student loan payment (which is 3 months now and i wanna keep it that way) drained pretty much all the money I had until next pay day.
So help a blue muscled dragon out please ;.=.;

pic went and with my few recent works, the prices of commissions will increase. Here are the new prices
$35 for a full body art (color, shaded, highlights and background)
$30 for a full body art (color, shaded, no highlights, no background)
$25 for a half body art (color, shaded, highlights, and background)
$20 for a half body art (color, shaded, no highlights, no background)
$15 half or full body (flat colors, not shaded, no highlights, background or no background)
$8 for outline sketch
$10 for traditional (full or half body, color, shaded, background or not)
the prices for the comic pages and such will not change for right now.

Quick update for all
General | Posted 11 years agoWell things at work have been getting rough since I'm coming on to month 5 now of working there and I gotta say I'm already moving up the ladder pretty quickly.
I mean, in less than 2 months I've almost doubled the hours I made since starting, I've been mostly helping train new employees, taken charge of the kitchen several times without any problems, and was trusted enough to take on the closing shift.
Now, on Monday (Feb 23rd), I'm to talk to the Assisstant Manager and the Store Manager about a possible promotion. They've seen how hard I worked in the small time I've been there, especially the Assisstant Manager since he trained me when I first started working there. So yeah, not 100% sure about getting it, but just to talk about a possible one.
As for art, they WILL be slower since I have the closing shift 4 days a week and have the pre-closing shift 1 day, so that's 5 days a week I'm working. Art will also be slower cause I've started going to the gym to get my ass back into shape and stuffs.
I work hard to get the hours I need at work, and wanna use my days off to just relax or go to the gym (whichever comes first heh), but I will still be doing arts. I already have some sketches, just gonna take a while to finish.
Thats all I got for now.

So for now, I will ONLY rp with friends I got to know and my mate, and my pets. No one else. I may rp with others on occasion, but most likely wont. No offense to the one user(s), but I don't always want to rp. Yes I'm addicted to rp'ing, but I know when to stop or take a break for a day or two or a few unlike a lot of people here and on Skype. I'm not wanting to offend anyone, it's just how I see it.
And finally, I have an art deal coming up soon. I wont give out full details yet, but when all the commissions and remaining pics I owe are done I will give details on the art deal.

Debts and Student Loans
General | Posted 11 years agoThey've haunted me ever since I left college cause I couldn't afford to stay.
A debt collection agency was after me for my tuition, and the main agency that gave me $10,000 in student loans was 30 days away from defaulting. So today I made some calls. First to the debt collection agency.
I shouldn't have, but I needed to cause I got a paper in the mail saying I owed $0.00 . This was incorrect. I called and they said I owed $3,589.75, but the college was willing to settle the account for $2,800.00. That's....not much of a difference, but I'll take it. I told that that I just got back to work and will be willing to do a monthly plan to have it paid up (cause at first they wanted a lump sum, which I cant do currently). So in two weeks I gotta call them back.
Next is the students loans.

I didn't want that to happen so I gave them a call. I told them my situation and they understood completely and gave me several options. I chose to postpone payments for 2 months (Until November 14th) and pay $75 a month (but I plan to pay more later on to get it paid off as soon as possible).
Also, I might have a second job, which would be awesome cause then I can use one job towards paying the loans and use the other one towards the tuition debt. Then once the tuition debt is done, I can use both towards the student loan and get it paid off faster, which would be awesome. But that's if I get the second job. I go in for an interview tomorrow at 1:00 PM, and I start work that same day at 3:00 PM.

I told that that I just got back to work and will be willing to do a monthly plan to have it paid up (cause at first they wanted a lump sum, which I cant do currently). So in two weeks I gotta call them back.

It makes me sad that people are doing this and actually paying for it.
The full game gets released in 2-3 weeks, and the Wii U version to be released in November/December.
Why waste the time selling off the codes? I saw one person on dA try to do a raffle for a code they had, but was taken down. Even though the code was theirs, they were 'selling' it cause it was from Nintendo. You're making profit off of a main developers software work which is illegal.
So please stop with these trade/pay offers for a free demo of a game that's to be released soon, so it's not worth the trouble. So just give the codes away to people that want it.

I'm not dead yet so that's good news heh.
Anyway
The reason for my inactivity here is because my mom has revoked my laptop privileges. Today I finally gave in and got on my laptop to draw. I have commissions and stuff to do. So I cant put those off anymore
I have 2 possible job locations (i wont reveal where they are), so I hope I get one or the other, or possibly both which would really help me out.
Next, I have to get back to getting use to a tablet. May take a while, but I will get it done and get to the pics I owe, so don't worry.
Also, I've started a vote on if DM's hairstyle should change or not. The two with the most votes will get fully drawn and colored where another vote will take place on changing the hairstyle or not. So check that out. Voting ends on September 22nd for the first part of the voting.

Also, I got my own Twitch channel, so I'll be doing game streams soon instead of using livestream for those.

I was waiting for the series that my mate commissioned
to do to unveil the lab. There will be many more inventions in the future.
As the new lab opens, I need volunteers to test out new inventions made by DSL. My mate tested out the first invention from Drader Science Labs which was the Muscle Belt (not it's official name and not its official look). The belt seen in that series was a prototype belt that very much succeeded in very way. It's final design will be different.
So if you're interested in testing out new inventions from my lab just drop a comment below.
