I know probably not many people on FA read journals much these days (guilty as charged lol), but I wanna take a sec to wish all my watchers a Merry Christmas, happy holidays, etc.

Thank you all for your support and your willingness to read my stuff when my writing was at its (in my opinion) lowest point. I've since deleted my old writing from my FA account, but I have the originals still on my computer for weirdly sentimental reasons. I just prefer not to have them be publicly displayed, is all. That and I'm not as rabid of a  roommates fan now as I was back then (still a fan btw, just not as crazy of one, lol) I don't plan on fully abandoning writing altogether, though. If I plan to pick it up again, I have some things planned for the Rocketwell family and my goblins as I get the time and motivation to do such.

New Job

Yep, that's right. For those who don't know I've got a new job :3 I'm working at Michelin as a rubber stripper. <insert dirty jokes here> It's hard work and murder on my hands sometimes, but I'm pulling through now and have gotten mostly used to it now :3

Gaming Project Update

For those who haven't looked at my previous journal recently, my gaming project list is in MASSIVE need of an update XD I'm most likely gonna be putting up a link to my Backloggery account once I get around to updating it. And what with my new job and the huge cascade of new games that I either have or are coming out soon (like Smash Bros, can't wait~ ^w^), I won't have as much time as I used to have to work on outstanding games on that list. Once I kinda thin out the numbers and get my week of vacation in October, I might be able to pick through some of them by then.

Semi-Official Fursona Change

I know some of you are aware of this already, but due to my inability to stick to a solid form for my fursona, I've decided to officially change my fursona to a shapeshifting lizard (which I shall henceforth refer to as a morph lizard) so I no longer have these issues with deciding on a solid form for my sona. I should be posting a ref sheet of my new self on FA once it's finished. My buddy  yoshoblue (who does awesome work and everyone who reads this should check him out, lol) is working on it, but it's a little slow going atm. Ah well, we can wait :3

TL;DR: New job, lots of games, can't wait for Smash Bros, I'm a morph lizard now, and go check out YoshoBlue on FA. He's got awesome stuffz~

For those of you who may or may not be aware of it, I'm doing a little bit of a gaming project to occupy my time while I wait to hear back about a job. Basically, I'm taking all of my games that I own that I've either started on and not finished or just haven't started at all, and I'm going to finish as many as I can while I wait. Hey, guys. Just letting you all know that thanks to a certain individual, I'm becoming a sort-of nudist-in-training for the time being, hoping for it to become full-fledged eventually.

But here's the problem with that... It turns out my mom is anti-nudist. She thinks that nudism is like exhibitionism and any real nudist out there can tell you not only that, but that it's not a sexual thing, either. And that sexualizing nudism is a HUGE no-no in those circles. She thinks that just because I'm a nudist, that I'm just parading my naked body around online and posting pictures of my naked irl body online. I'm not stupid. Shit like that is forever once you post it and it can ruin any prospect you can have of ever getting a job unless you're applying to be a stripper and honestly, I'm too shy for that and I don't want a job like that, even if anyone local were hiring. She even implied that she'd throw me out of the house if she ever found me showing my naked body online. To her, I say, "My body, my choice. So butt out."

Heck, I even pointed out a big advantage to at least wearing my robe around the house. Since I'm not currently in a position of really needing to go anywhere important for the most part, I just go around the house in my robe, being naked underneath, just to spare my folks the sight of my nekkid. I do this because since I don't go anywhere for the most part, getting dressed is pointless because I'd just wear my clothes, lay in bed for the most part, and since I'm in the hottest room in the house during this spring-going-on-summer weather, if I wear clothes, I'm gonna be sweating a lot more than I should be, even with the AC on. Plus, clothes in this weather just feel uncomfortable. Anyway, my point is, if I'm just gonna be staying in my room all day for the most part, what's the point in needlessly getting dressed just to take it off again at the end of the day and end up making more work for her (because she does the laundry) while putting myself in an uncomfortable situation in more ways than one? Any real nudists, I would greatly appreciate your feedback on this matter, please. And if any of you know a real nudist (online or irl), please show them this journal and ask them to comment on it.

P.S. Are there any actual nudist fur groups on FA? Cuz if so, I'd really like to join ^^

Yeah, turns out the ISP (Internet Service Provider, for those of you not in the know) goofed and... something happened. I'm guessing some ports got shut off somewhere, blocking access to most websites. So I called my ISP and almost immediately, it came on with a recorded message, basically saying that they were aware of the problem and they were on their way to fixing it. And of course, the very second I finished the call, my internet was back up fully, good as new ^w^ The reason I waited until now to tell you all this is because I wanted to make some announcements:

XD And just to show you guys how hardcore I am, I'm gonna be soloing the Monster Arena as well, once I get finished with Sin and once I get the time, what with classes and such. Bad news is that the Saturn Sigil for Kimahri's Spirit Lance is proving to be too hard/annoying to get right now, so I'm gonna be postponing this project for a while and in the meantime, I'm gonna be working on a Women-Only run of Fire Emblem for the GBA. Yes, guys. I'm still gay. XD I'm just doing the run for the challenge of it, since us macho men make the game too easy~ XD Also, to give you a little indication as to what I'm up against, I'm on Chapter 10 and out of a possible 12-13 characters, I'm only allowed to use 4. That's right, FOUR~! XD

Once again, thank you all for your kind words... Words just can't even begin to express how grateful I am to each and every one of you ^_^

Now, as some of you may or may not know, a very, very, VERY dear friend of mine (  jackbond or more recently, by his alt,  yoshoblue ) is heading off for college in a few days time. But the thing is, he's going to a Christian boarding school run by zealots with oppressive rules.

(Before I continue, I wanna make it clear RIGHT NOW that I don't hate Christianity or any other religion. I only hate the fact that religion can turn people into such zealots.)

Now, lemme continue by saying what Jack is going to have to put up with for (worst-case scenario) four whole years.

First off, I wanna mention the thing that I think is the biggest insult of all. If people at that school find out that Jack is gay, one of two things can happen: they can either get him into counselling to try and brainwash him, OR they can suspend him for two whole semesters and make him re-apply. The lengths people go to because of homophobia just astounds me... *facepalms*

There is a good side, however. There's a midnight curfew at the school, but here's the thing. they only enforce it on the first year. There may be a possibility that after the first year, he could get an apartment off-campus and not have to deal with all the on-campus rules.

All of these things aren't allowed either on-campus or at college events. I swear I'm NOT making these up. Doing any of these can be met with disciplinary action:

Violation of their modesty code
Cursing
Dishonesty
Sex
Dancing (I swear I'm not making this up o3o)
Having porn (so no more FA visits D: )
Playing violent video games

Of course, these aren't all of them. Just a small sample of the hell poor Jack is most likely going to endure for four years. Which brings me to my next issue: Mandatory Daily Church Visits

I know this one kinda goes without saying, but still. He's required to go to church at least one hour every day. And they make it so you have to scan your ID card as you're coming in to make sure you're there. And people can get in trouble for scanning other peoples ID cards. Oh, and get this. If you leave early, for whatever reason, they mark you down as absent! About the only saving grace is that he's allowed to miss fifteen visits per semester, but every missed visit after the fifteen means an hour of mandatory community service for each extra day skipped.

And to end off my rant (long journal is long, I know. Almost done XD), I'd like to point out that they'll be monitoring his internet usage, meaning that while he's there, his communication will be SEVERELY limited, if not entirely cut off. He'll even be cut off from his boyfriend, which he came all this way just to meet (Aww~ ^^) I dunno about you, but that's just not right... Heck, isn't monitoring of internet usage an invasion of privacy? But I digress.
