Everytime I look at my username or have to log in somewhere, it makes me hungry ...

I don't know why I thought this would be a good idea!!!!!!

I know it's a bit of a pain to shift over, but really it takes less than a minute to click a link and watch a new account so I doubt the backlash will be -that- bad aside from a few fussy people complaining (honestly kind of surprised this still happens. It seems so petty to me!) about another name switch.

IF I was going to make a new account, I'm thinking of re-uploading some of my favorite pieces to that location and just continue on from there with new stuff. Nothing will be deleted from this or previous addresses, so no worries. You can still view art that's already been submitted by me. It's not going anywhere :) (Unless the admins choose to take it down due to inactivity. If that's the case I could easily upload some of the fan favorites to the scraps area of my new gallery)

Was kindof thinking of centering the username around my default fursona or new legal name that'll come into effect shortly. Haha it also occurred to me that as awesome as Dragonroll is... I'd ideally like something a tad more unique so it's easier to locate my art during a general search. I use to get all nervous about that sort of thing, but I was reconsidering since I don't post anything I'm ashamed of or feel the need to hide.

So... yeah! That's about the sum of my 6am thoughts.

My lack of drive to draw lately seems to be stemming largely from the fact that I've kind of pigeonholed myself into doing a certain style or two of anthro art with a few quads littered here and there. Not that there is anything particularly wrong with that. It was enjoyable for quite awhile and the consistency came in handy when I was living off of commissions. At this point I feel like just need to mix things up a bit :)

So what changes are we going to see in addition to my usual furry art?

Highly looking forward to revisiting characters and themes that brought me a lot of joy throughout my childhood. Also getting into photography again, but that will either be posted on a separate account or another site entirely.

*** I'm not particularly interested in hearing if you dislike a character or subject I've chosen to draw. Those comments are mundane and unnecessary.

*** Just because I drew free art for a friend doesn't mean you get free art too. Saying "Ooh I want one of these!" on a submission is fine. Just don't repeatedly bug me about it.

*** Don't publicly comment on a submission or journal asking me to do an art trade. Please note me privately about the matter instead, and don't take it too personally if I decline.

I've been drawing as far back as I can remember. It was always something enjoyable for me and I found it to be a great stress-reliever...kindof an escape from some of the garbage that was going on in my life at the time. Unfortunately that seems to have changed. Lately doing art has become extremely irritating, and I really don't like what I'm able to produce 8 times out of 10 (Y'all don't see the piles of crumpled drawings over here...)

Perhaps I've been working with the same materials for too long and I just need to switch things back to colored pencils for awhile to reignite that spark. I dunno. Maybe it boils down to stress and bouts of insomnia taking their toll. If that's the case I'm hoping things will get better after Quin & I get married and he moves in with me, which should hopefully be pretty soon. Still a few things hanging in the balance that are making it tough to set a date.

Anywho, short version is I don't think I'm going to just give up drawing altogether (that'd be kind of a shame). I just need to regroup.
