So it has been a long while since the forge has said anything and it has been a long time since anything new was posted. Well that is about to change at this point. The forge has been going through rough times as the two main workers, Master Firestar and Mistress Nusha has have one hell of a year with family death and health issues. And as of this point the forge is taking a new line of work and is going to to be very interesting for the forge and a new way for us to break from the rut we have been in.

Now for the first stage the forge is now changing its name and Dragon Skull Forge is now retired and will be loved and remembered as we move forward. The Forges New name is something that is closer to our hearts and closer to what we are. The new name of the forge is Flames of the Horse. A new logo and new saying will be coming in the new few months to capture the new look and feeling of this change.
Second the forge is Moving forward with new ideas and styles, The forge itself has been renewed and rebuilt, Master Firestar has been working the past 6 months on building a new gas forge to work larger pieces and has just finished a new melting Foundry for casting metal. He has even hunted down old casting molds to start work with and some new ones as well. The master has even found a way to pick up a 3D printer for the shop to make lost form casting molds so new ideas can be made.

Third Nusha has gotten a new Digital art pad so she can work on fresh ideas and help with molding the way for fresh style of art and pieces, She still does leather but has put it on hold till we can find better tools and a new leather supplier that does not have someone who hates the master working at it.

Lastly we will still be doing the dice boxes in a later date once the casting molds can be made to start making some in metals like Brass and copper. The wood ones will be made as well but only on custom orders or when the whim hits us. Here is the new forges page  Horse_Of_The_Flames_Forge . So it has been a little over six years and the forge has had its ups and downs but it is time for the forge to grow up finally.

In the next upcoming weeks a news update will be put on on the decisions that have been made and will be made.

Now for a life update, Firestar started a new job so we can get income in other then leather so our bills will be paid on time. Now this will slow some things up but not by much. This is Firestar, And its with sorrow and heart filled with pain that i say this...

I am walking away from the forge and my crafts till i can get my life straightened out. I can not put my heart into my leather or metal anymore. I know i have said this before and have come back.. But till i get my personal issues taken care of and my mental struggles i am having I am taking a leave from Dragon Skull Forge and in doing so I am passing ownership over to my wife, and mate Nusha. Treat her well and be respectful to her and her works.

I will be with her through this time of transfer and aiding her in handling the forge and its running's.

I know i have been a disappointment to many in my life and as of right now i can no longer be a burden to them. maybe one day i will return maybe i wont but i am putting my fate in the hands of the goddess and the gods in hopes i can find my true self again.

The Forge of the dragons Skull shall be re-opening as of Monday the 9th with new prices and new line up of items to tantalize and tease the senses. In the following month the gallery will be cleaned up as well. A TOS will also be written up and posted for all to see as well as a ordering form will be in the works for custom truly custom items to be made.

I have taken this time of silence from posting works to reflect on what I have done in the past with my skills and talents, I have come to the finale choice, No matter what anyone tells me i have only 5 people i will ever listen to they are my mate Nusha, My sister Z, My master Polly and his mate Merage, If it wasnt for them standing with me I wouldnt have the pull to get back up and move forward. So i say thank you to all of them.

Warning right now for any DirtNap[Local metal in Tucson]Lovers on Fa, This wont be nice or pretty.

FUCK YOU Dirtnap Arizona, YOU are the most pathetic pieces of crap band out there. Bailing out just before your set at a charity concert just because it was a small crowd and you didnt sell T shirts and didnt make any money. And what you did back stage was a childs act. I will never go to a concert with you in the line up again, You are all nothing but prissy little bitches that will never be anything more then a wanna be band.

Now that my rant is over.. The concert was great didnt do much in sales but i got two maybe three local bands that will be coming to me for leather work in the future and got my name out there with people wanting to come to me for goods. Other then the Headliner Dirtnap backing out 15 minutes before their set, it was all good The band that stepped up and took the set was great Legion made the evening and saved the show, But also D2D was wandering around stage and the venue helping out where they could. So this is the report from the concert. Ill update this later if i think of anything else to add.

Well after few days of getting yelled at and such from my master and many close friends, i am back into leather working and will be opening up again for small commissions, but that will be after this weekend since i have a booth at a local Metal concert trying to drum up some extra cash and to get my name out there, might be doing more of these concerts and little shows if this one goes well. I also just picked up a credit card reader for my phone so i can take cards now while out and around doing shows [as long as i have signal]. anyways im open again just maybe anyone who reads this please spread the word as i have spread the word for many of the ones i watch at times all i ask is once in a while a shout out for me.

Ok so now that i have things replaced and have need to work.. my real job demands so much that i cant even sit down to replace bracers that where stolen.. or even finish my mates belt or her collar... im starting to get pissed that i cant do what i love at work cause people would bitch and complain.. and when i get home im to damn tired to work... weekends are filled just for getting shit down around the house and getting bills paid.. some days i am just starting to feel that working in the real world is just a waste of my time and talent if i ever want to get better... so im putting this up and out there.. just to see what others are going to say...

ok so you all know my tools and items where stolen, well im still pissed about it and want to hunt the little shit head down who did it... but im moving on coming the next month and so ill be redoing the cuff i had just made, and ill be working on a new line of items that im currently sketching up and putting to my 2ft x 1 1/2 ft art pad for full scale drawings and details.

and on current news, i am now a school bus driver for Tucson unified school disc. and ill be able to replace all that was stolen in less time once the checks start coming in.

and just a heads up my mate is thinking of opening up commissions for her wood burning she hasnt posted anything on it yet but im just giving the shout out now, go check her stuff out she is very talented.  Artimishunter

well today started out like shit... woke up and found out i had my truck broken into... $1000+ worth of items where stolen.. as well as the cuffs i had just finished and put into a box from ups so it was ready to ship.. as well as three gift pieces for close friends... so now im shit out of luck... and out of my trade tools as almost all of them where in there... as well as all of my paints and dyes.. and a book that cant be replaced that we borrowed from a friend.. i just got done with the cops.. so me and my mate are going to the pawn shops in town to see if we can find any items there..

if i find out who did this... you guys will be reading about me in jail for murder... i hate low life coward scum...

well got my license back.. trying to get life back in order. need to get things cleared up still.. i hate asking my folks to help me out... lost the house me and my mate we where going for.. land lord was stupid and didnt seem to understand about not being able to see the place till mid july or give money for down payment till we saw the house.. i hate Mexican landlords.. [no offense to anyone.. just pissy atm].. so going to start working on commissions now, got one ill be starting as soon as sunday. more on that later.

Well i was stupid, the night i got pulled over i forgot to grab my leather punch tool from the truck.. thinking it was home safe.. it seems it wasn't.. so now i'm stuck with projects that are going to have to wait till i get the truck back or i find a away to get money up and ride to the shop to get a new one..

*hits head on the wall and just sighs* i cant believe i over looked that one item.. so i'm doing what i can with what i got, but things will be slow for pics and other projects to hit the gallery.
