Just curious about a statistic I've noticed.

When I post pictures, they tend to get a lot of favorites. Many easily break a hundred, popular ones much more.

( Edit: This is comparing stories and pictures with similar numbers of views, but where the number of favorites are vastly different. )

But my official story chapters, they rarely ever see more than 20. Of the over 90 chapters I posted only 2 made it over 100, and only by a few. They tend to be ones with extreme fetishes, like vore.

Made me wonder what caused that.

I think I perceive favoring as being the same as a like on Facebook.

But it really isn't, it's more like a bookmarking system, and I think people want to go look at pictures again more than they want to re-read a particular chapter. Favorites are like reminders, a way to remember a particular author. Except in my case if you have read 90 or more chapters, you likely remember who writes the dragon+unicorn+bdsm story series and don't need to favorite all the chapters to find my account again. Favoriting one chapter is enough if that's needed at all.

So Dear Readers, what do you think?

I have returned, again, after a shorter absence this time. Not even 6 months!

One story, one short, bunch of art and if all goes well some more chapters soon too, and more art. Vicious cycle if I can get it going! :)

I also need to update Pateron. I think I bit off more than I can chew with doing a full blown second story series in comic form. I might ask my followers there if they would mind seeing short stories based in the FotU universe instead of a single long one which is a lot more work.

Maybe do another AMA... not sure who though.

So I have been wanting to do some comics of various scenes, either written or ones specifically for the comics. But comics are expensive, and it's not easy to budget a few hundred dollars for a quality multi page comic.

I saw this site, and am considering giving it a try. Created an account, but asking here if there would be any interest before spending a lot of time planning out comic pages and looking for artists. Some are obvious, Fortuna would be one. Suggestions for others would be appreciated.

Basicly you pledge $1 or whatever you feel is appropriate to a project, like $1 per comic page. Once enough people pledge, then it gets created, and so on. I'm still not entirely sure how all the details work, heh.

As for what they will be... that I'll be taking suggestions for too. I'm not sure if re-creating existing scenes, or having all new content would be best. Spoilers can be tricky, as some of the best scenes are things people might want to read for themselves. Perhaps new characters for a comic would be good, set in the same world, and characters 'guest staring' back and forth but made so people could follow the comic and not read the stories or vice versa.

This seem like a good idea? I had considered doing it for at least a year or so now, but didn't want the trouble of handling payments, and refunding if the goal wasn't met, eating transaction fees, ect. Having a site to do all that makes it more convenient.

I'm fed up with FA trying to make me submit against my will!

Every damn time I post a picture I have to click on the 'Submit' button.

I think FurAffinity needs to have a setting so Dominants and Masters have a "Post" button so we don't have to keep clicking submit. It's a matter of principle you know! And instead of a boring 'Post' button, maybe, "Dominate the Front Page" buttons. Another good idea would be a setting for switches that randomly makes it say 'Submit' or 'Dominate'. I've put up with it so far.. but no more! I'm putting my foot down, all four of them and taking a stand against this injustice!

I'm going to boycott ever site that has submit buttons. I'm on strike!

So I'm having a lot of fun with the "Ask Master Rahmor" question and answer session and have decided I will be doing some more of those in the future.

Got suggestions on who should be shoved into the guest chair next? I have some ideas of course, but am curious who all my readers would be interested in hearing from. Might even be characters I haven't thought of.

Also... what about combining characters? Should I do the harem all as a group? And pairs like Rickie/Leshyet?

I can still remember making the journal for 1,000 pageviews. Now 50k is a few months away.

I should probably start planning. I'll do another free short story contest, most likely the same way I did before, letting people enter and then once I hit it, have one randomly picked.

I should probably do something else, get an extra special commission or something. But I do so many of them as it stands I'm not sure what would qualify as special. They are all special already!

Maybe a special chapter? Again... I try and do that for EVERY chapter, so not sure what I could do there either.

So as you may have noticed, I tend to get a fair number of commissions. I love seeing things from my story and imagination come to life, but it DOES cost money. I try and keep to a budget, but even when I do it just makes me sad. My art collection is my horde here. WANT MOAR!

Ahem. Anyway! To the point.

There are a few artists I want to get stuff from, but they draw on paper and as much as I like the art, I really don't like physical copies. So if I get art from them, I'll end up with a copy I don't want.

I had an idea though... would any of you be interested in getting physical copies of FotU art? I'd commission it, then perhaps put the physical piece up for auction. Minimum would be to cover shipping costs.

Seems like a good win-win situation. I get the digital copy I want, someone else gets a physical copy they want.

So the 2nd "Your Character Here" style group picture has been filled up. I figured it would take a few days, but it went a lot faster than expected.

So here is a question... how many people would be interested in more of these?

I had planned to do another two mass-orgy themed ones.

1) An insect hive theme, where your character would have terrible things done to them by horrible monsters.

2) A slave auction picture, where your character is tied up and on display, ready to be sold to the highest bidder.

I also was thinking of doing some smaller ones, featuring different characters. Rickie and Leshyet, the gold and silver dragonesses, Zoriah and her stallions, Talos and Elyon, Tamira and some of the other mares, ect.

I wanted to do something to support the fight against SOPA and all the other attempts by countries and corporations to censor the internet just to protect themselves or their profits.

I knew Reddit, Imgur and Wikipedia were going to do something, but nice to see FA join in too.

So here is my attempt to show the evils of censorship with a brand new chapter. In short, it is a tale of the furry government trying to hide their involvement with a group of vigilantes who kidnap criminals and evil doers and sell them as slaves to dragons. But they get power hungry and start taking people who are only suspected of crimes, and because they had help from the upper levels of government who suppressed news of and any investigation of them, they are able to work unhindered, until they decide the very officials that help them are corrupt and send them all to be dragon slaves. Because they hid all evidence of what was going on, they are helpless as they are shipped off one by one. The dragons of course, take very SPECIAL care of those elected officials... only giving them the BEST torture and methods of rape. Without the support of the government, the vigilantes are quickly caught and brought to justice. They only get jail.. the officials sold to the dragons however... well... read on for plenty of hot dragon on furry slave sex!

So go read my new story and remember that we the people DO have the power of our votes... so use it!
