ZZZ and a friend
Posted 4 months agoMy friend yesterday started playing Zenless Zone Zero for the first time, and he pulled Von Lycaon on his first roll. Good lord.
Kingshot
Posted 4 months agoIf it wasn't obvious from the fact it's a mobile game, the mobile game Kingshot is a scam ad game. You can tell just from the fact that up until days ago, they had their ads without voiceovers with the same stuff, and now as of at latest today, they now have those same clips with "people" voicing over them.
It's obvious they are in every way, but just in case any doubt was in peoples' minds. After all, Raid Shadow Legends exists. My argument is validated from that alone.

Expedition 33
Posted 4 months agoI wanted to bring this up, cause I'm laughing at the idiocy of gaming journalists.
They're now claiming Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a game made by ex Ubisoft employees, a game that focuses on themes that can really strike close to home to people, with characters that look great and actually act nice, that doesn't use real life politics as pandering or preaching, is a "success for woke", whatever that word even means at this point in this day and age.
I remember when Monster Hunter Wilds came out they said the exact same thing. Which if I recall was ironic since I think some of them were getting upset at its existence leading up to its release beforehand.
So the same people praising games like Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon Age Veilguard, and Assassin's Creed Shadows are trying to lump in Expedition 33, a game that doesn't insult its audience, as a "victory" for them? What even is there to have a "victory" about? Expedition 33 is a good game. The devs actually listen to the community (since for one, they don't talk down to people, and celebrate copies sold, not players because they couldn't brave admitting their game undersold, unlike the three other games mentioned), and the game actually plays well and in a unique way that hasn't been seen in a very long time.
I just wanted to bring this up cause I find it funny how predictably meek these journalists are. I remember when these same journos didn't say the exact same copy pasted homework in every article they made. They at least had the dignity to make "unique" articles for everything, and not directly say the same stuff half the time, change the wording to make it look like they didn't copy the other half. So it makes me laugh how they saw yet another good game succeed on its own merit, and their first reaction to realising they can't dogpile it is to try and claim it's their "victory".

Posted 2 years agoI am not gonna spend more time trying to explain how one is allowed to make an art recreation of a scene from a video game. I genuinely cannot understand how you tried to justify me wanting art of Lady Marie hypnotising people, which she literally does in the game and in the first trailer, as being inappropriate and somehow too mature. Hypnosis, as a concept, IS NOT a mature topic. It becomes mature, when you make the characters more mature content, like nudity, null bulges, and whatnot. There is no such thing as any of that when she hypnotises, she simply tosses a glowing flower at the Phantom Thieves and it turns their masks white with a kiss mark. That's it. Ann having a dominatrix outfit by default, in Persona 5 Royal and Strikers and Tactica, is more mature than that! Hell, the vipers from XCOM 2 are more mature from that, given they have visible boobs! This ain't like the last time we had an argument and you had "some" grounds to fight this on, you and the others genuinely had no base to fight on this. This is a community dedicated to a type of fetish fuelled by SatAM and its barely concealed fetish, which Darkwitt literally made a comic page 2-3 weeks ago where he mentions that's what got him into hypnosis, and also fuelled by Mowgli, a literal child, younger than a teenager, got hypnotised and nearly eaten by a snake! Whilst only wearing a loincloth, by the way!
This was just a stupid piece of crap argument that had no reason to bloody happen at all. All I wanted was someone to make art of Lady Marie doing what she does in a video game, and you and a bunch of other people made a whole lot of nothing but bull about that?? That's like getting pissed at someone doing art of Doomguy squishing a demon's head in because it's too mature; it literally happens in game, the art is less gorey than the ingame version, and it makes no sense to complain about it.
I'm just done with that, I'm just leaving that server. I don't need or want to deal with stupid double standards that make me think you're some freak who's okay with some jackass on the internet doing something genuinely illegal, yet you call some random person out for something you only mildly disagree with.

Mortal_Nephilim and their toxicity
Posted 3 years agoSo, Hypnovember is over, and fun was had right?
Seems someone tried to ruin the fun by being a negative little whine.
I usually don't talk crap about someone's image, for good reason. A, it's not worth the time and effort to shittalk about some random toxic person when you can just ignore them, and B, I believe people can change.
But good. Lord. This guy, is something else.
He ain't one of those mega toxics who ruin fandoms. But this guy actively detracted from the experience.
Not only did he trash talk and belittle and berate people because they joked about "wanting to zonk their characters", key word being joked, he deleted comments of his to basically hide his side of the argument, which indirectly makes those trying to console him and all look like weirdos. He also said multiple times that he had changed for the better; news flash, it didn't; usually every time he did that, an hour later he was blowing up at someone all over again. This happened repeatedly, and it comes as no surprise that he did not change for the better.
He now has shittalked and beware posted about Darkwitt, an established and pretty loved character who is experienced in hypnosis who has been doing this for years (and is also, irl, just a really nice guy interested in hypnosis with too much time on his hands thanks to work), for "lying and manipulating". All because of a plot twist Darkwitt through in at the end of Project Cognizant, which, fun fact, did not force people to be used as tools; the story in the description of the post, in fact, outright stated they were not forced to stay in the simulation.
Mortal_Nephilim is a toxic, and quite possibly arrogant, individual who possibly might like stealing attention, and most definitely hates it when someone even breathes a mention of hypnotising his characters, responding with outrage and actually unironically childish whining. He's okay until you start acting out of line. Then he expresses toxicity on a level equivalent to that of toxic D&D players who make it out like the world 'must' revolve around them and them alone.
This individual is not to be trusted on anything about how "he's changed" or "gotten better", and especially when it comes to him talking trash about people who "manipulated" him. And don't be surprised if he blocks you for years because you said something about dom'ing a character. And don't try and reason with him if he starts an argument with you; just block him, and move on.

Art requests
Posted 4 years agoArt requests for TF, Hypnosis, petrification, and possibly more, using Hero Forge, are open again.
They can be a single image, a basic sequence (where the victim will stay in the same pose through it all), or detailed sequence (where they will move within reason during the whole thing, like what I did with Rarin and Glacier's first petrifying experiences).
If this journal is featured, that means art requests are open. But if not, then I am not taking any.
