I'm looking too have one of my characters made and want to get a quote on how much it will cost me too have it made so I can save up the money too have it done. I'd appreciate any tips i can get. FloofballRhys my BF, and have been coming up with lore and a setting. I may or may not be making more art soonish in between moving and working.
with a possible Server called: The Skunky Den in the back of my mind. with related artwork and even a bit of RP lore that people can toy with. this will of course be a 18+ only server.
just curious if people want more Skunk Drone artwork with some actual lore? instead of the just the teasy images I've been working on.

In short I'm not taking any risks with my comic when the rule is so vague and unclear on what exactly is being banned. and the fact they just ignored the community backlash tells me all i need too know. FA isn't a safe space for artists anymore. first it's short characters. next it will be anime in general. then anything that the twitter freak admins decide isn't legal on this site anymore. take my warning. do not build yourself up on this site. use it yes. but at least keep one other gallery up to date so they can't ruin your life, and can't easily destroy the art you work so hard for.
Finally to Dragoneer. I never got why people hated you so much. but now i get it. your current admins are trash, they are the extreme people demanding that people agree 100% with them on everything and anything. or they throw out slurs to discredit you. this is NOT acceptable. and you of all people should know better then to let admins do what ever they want. this short ban is stupid, not well thought out. and bans more then you intended due to being so vague. not to mention one admin will clear an image while another bans the SAME PERSON and deleted THAT SAME IMAGE.

Pikachu being a prime example of that. same as the old bulbasaur from G1. both are very old at this point. and goes against the rule.

Not Celebrating Pride Month at all This year.
General | Posted 2 years agoYes I'm gay, yes i support equal rights. but that isn't what that movement is about anymore. it's been taken over by extremists that want to groom children. I fully 100% support the right of ADULTS to transition., and I support the right for someone to love what ever gender they want. but I am vehemently against what the 2SLGBTQI+ movement has been doing in recent years. as it has gone from supporting equal rights. to demanding privilege and telling others what their identity is or isn't which is against the original argument in the first place.
I will not be using rainbows in my artwork as I personally feel that flag no longer represents me and my values as a person. I believe that children are children and should remain children until their of age. if they want to transition then that is up too them. but doing that stuff too children while they are too young to fully comprehend what PERMANENT fully means. that is grooming. it is disgusting. and should be criminalized and tried to the highest level possible.

FA D-Day
General | Posted 2 years agoThe first of July is the D-Day of FA, the moment they start removing short characters i foresee most of the traffic that enjoys short characters. size difference, or micro/macro are gonna be leaving.
since time and again. FA has stated that short characters are banned. and constantly ignore or delete comments made by the community trying to fix this outright BLANKET BAN. on SHORT characters. the FA admins are from twitter and have proven they are not trustworthy. most of all I feel utter disappointment in this site that had been a bastion for furry art for years. which now has shown that they care more about being powerful and judgemental. then actually being a decent group of people just trying too protect children. especially when the admins themselves can not decided on what the specifics on what is banned or not actually are. one says your fine while another deletes and bans.
this is a pure mess caused by one thing. ALL the moderators are volunteers. that is the WORST bloody way to get admins. as those with a craving for power will flock too the position of Admin. this site has officially shot itself in the foot. and as such I would like to remind my viewers. that i will no longer be posting on FA but on my Weasyl and Sofurry for adult furry content:

so TLDR: Fa admins are power tripping with vague rules on what is or is not considered a child character. with the only examples given being short characters. despite there being short adults irl. my grandmother only stood 4.2ft, so I guess she was still a child at 85? and I disagree so I am leaving. and will watch FA collapse under it's attempts to limit the creativity of the artists that once called it home. Goodbye FA. Goodbye Dragoneer. enjoy the lost of business from at least 2 of the big artists i watch. and may you learn your lesson about blanket banning a height over a handful of bad actors.

General | Posted 2 years agoI have opened other Galleries as FA's new rule comes across as vague and made purely off emotion. and i have a feeling my art will be deemed unacceptable due to the lack of muscle definition. and that my anatomy was child like for years unintentionally. right now i have started a Weasyl and am currently putting the pieces i simply do not want to lose on it. and will be creating a DA and Inkbunny soon.

General | Posted 2 years agodue to a project i have been undertaking that has chibi shaped characters in fetish like scenario's i will probably be moving that project off FA onto other platforms. I don't know why they thought this was a good update to make but it is utterly stupid to claim that something that looks childish is a child. shame on the admin that made this regulation. I find it offensive to legitimate creativity. I do not condone the sexualization of underaged characters. but defining chibi styles as child porn is just illogical and ill founded. it is a stylistic choice and nothing more.
To Repeat. I do not condone actual sexual art of children. but chibi and child proportioned adults are common place in anime and other cartoon formats and claiming such as pedophilia is an outrage and out of touch with the art community that has been built here.

Slight Delay
General | Posted 3 years agoI was planning to publish a D&D module this year to launch along side the launch of my comic. but due to the brewing OGL updates I've decided to do the annoying thing and rewrite it all in the pathfinder 2E system and publish under the ORC when that becomes available. I am still working on the comic itself and that should soon be ready to launch. just working out some small hiccups in the story.

I figured i should announce this here. as it's going to be a big change in my Artwork going forward. while i will still be doing some smaller images. namely backlog i need to clean up. I am going to be shifting gears towards publishing my comic. with this month being pre-prep. namely rewriting my info, adding a ToS and possibly opening a Ko-Fi or patreon if the comic does well. the first chapter will be posted in it's entirety first to give people a feel for the world and lore that i spent years building.
I will possibly be posting either on another dedicated account specifically for the comic related stuffs. and keep this one as my one off gallery. or creating my own hosting site.
I request that when i start publishing my comic that no one download my art and put it into an AI generator. as I have taken steps to copyright and protect my characters and if i catch AI generated stuff made from my property then i will sue. you are more then welcome to use it for reference for anyone wanting to actually learn how to do art themselves. but no AI databases.
ontop of that I am offically stepping back from substance abuse as part of my resolution. and working towards a better future. by going back to school to take a Mi'Kmaq Studies and Anthropology course in hopes of being able to help Acadia First Nations recover and preserve our cultural past. and yes I am Mi'kmaq. not .002% or what ever either. if you message me hatefully you will be blocked. as where i come from shouldn't matter. I truly believe we should be working together. not attacking each other for race, religion, culture. it's our actions that speak the loudest.

I've decided to give up on twitter. I am now in the process of looking for a different website to start trying to grow a community. I may open a discord then again I might not.

DO NOT buy Clip studio Paint anymore
General | Posted 3 years agodue to a change in their plans, you now don't own a perpetual license. you have to pay for the 2.0 upgrade via subscription now. which breaks their promise of free lifetime updates for those who payed for the lifetime license in the first place.
I'm officially not posting artwork anymore due to this change. as i simply can not afford a new program, nor do i feel like paying clip for their betrayal of their community. I highly recommend not getting into this situation, find a better program. or pay for a program that isn't scummy like clip.

Why I reject the Pope's apology
General | Posted 3 years agoWhen I first listened to his words to the native communities i had felt hope that our people would be heard and the painful history of the residential schools might finally draw to an end so healing can occur in the community. I had hoped that the pope had really been touched by the stories of the survivors. the knowledge that family's were torn a part. the the wound inflicted on the native tribes echo so strongly in our communities today. do not be mistaken, our community is stricken hard by inter-generational trauma caused by an event with officially more dead and buried in the ground now then the holocaust.
but what hurts to most is the comment he made attending one of the sacred lands of the native peoples. I too feel a deep rage at this comment. our culture was taken and brutalized by the church, and the thing you take from it is that our language was lost so we couldn't speak prayers to the conquer god, in our own language?
and yes, you worship a conquer god. do not pretend the creator and your christian god are the same being. they are not. as their ideals and intentions are completely different in lore.
your god takes land that doesn't belong to him and forces the obedience of a culture not his own. wiping away anything that opposes him. our creator taught us peace and to live with the land. taught us herbal medicine, and the importance of respect and community. your god punished humanity for cooperating. and living off the land.
They are not the same. and never will be.
This land doesn't belong to the church. it never did. and never truly will. It belonged to our people.
so here is my response Pope Francis.
I hereby Leave the Christian faith, I revoke the right of baptism preformed on me as a child before i was old enough to decide for myself. and refuse to ever utter a prayer to the faith that continually ignores our peoples rights. and refuses to admit that they are in the wrong.
also as a side note. the Pope did not deserve a headdress. it devalues the significance and sacred meaning behind them. we as a community need to stop giving every politician we meet a headdress. because clearly none of them deserve it.

I'm officially 100 Watcher away from 1000. and have something special planned for when i hit 1000.
