My father has passed away three days ago. My emotions have been all over the place from sadness and despair to confusion and anger. I loved him despite everything that has happened in the past, but I truly wish things were better. I spent five months visiting the hospital as often as I could while trying to reconnect our broken family and continue on with my life too.

Now that I am next of kin, I am trying to make this the best send off for my father. I would appreciate some help as it is all on me and funerals are incredibly expensive.

Yes! It's finally time I got around to posting everything I've got over the years here especially since Twitter is what it is and Bluesky isn't always the best. But here is where furry art will always live on! 🧡

G'day everyone, Merry Christmas to all! Now quiet, a roo is speaking ^^

Been a while since I did a proper journal or something but here I go. This may be a long one or not, I'm just gonna spill out a lot of stuff that's gone on in the past month or so and where I am headed with my goals.

So, on November 11th 2015, I set out to America. After a lengthy 14-hour flight from Sydney, I landed in my first stop; Los Angeles. Some of you may know, I visited LA last year where I stayed in Pasadena, this time around, I stayed in Century City and man, the hotel was amazing! I met so many nice people and got to see so many sights. I went to Santa Monica, Disneyland (both parks), an LA Kings match, went to Santa Monica again and saw some of UCLA, plus a nice sightseeing tour of Hollywood, Downtown LA and Beverley Hills. I did quite a bit of shopping and found out that a) I love Macy's and b) I will never step foot in another Bloomingdale's.

After a full week in LA, I flew out to Denver, Colorado. Seeing snow from the air got me quite excited but I was even more excited to see and waiting for me at the airport, ready to take me into their home for a week. I saw and experienced many things in Colorado, staying in an amazing town with a vibrant restaurant culture, saw proper falling snow for the first time, I tried so many new foods, got to see Walmart where I flipped out with your price of food, never seen anything so cheap! And it is also where I spent Thanksgiving with some awesome friends at one of those "Friendsgiving" things! I could write a book with my experiences and what I felt in my 10 days there but I won't.

After saying my goodbyes sadly, I boarded a plane for New York. I landed in LaGuardia at 10pm at night on the Sunday after Thanksgiving and traffic was everything typical about New York City. It literally took 40 minutes to drive 100 yards, thanks America. In NYC, I stayed in a hotel adjacent to Times Square, in the heart of it all on the 44th floor. Now New York was very interesting and at a completely different place to a town in CO, I was mainly doing touristy things around the City, I did the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center and memorial, Rockefeller Center, Central Park and rode on the Subway. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic city but I know that New York is not for me.

A few days later I boarded a plane to Chicago to have some great fun at MFF. Got in on Thursday, was staying with Jwolfsky, and then bought some booze, went to a room party, met some great, insane and awesome people, you know who you are if you were hanging with me while I was drunk. Oh yeah, got insanely drunk, threw up, went and passed out, then Friday! I registered, looked around, met up with soooooo many people, again, you know who you are, then that night I again got drunk, danced, partied, didn't throw up (success!) and proposed to someone while extremely drunk. I'm good at this!

After that, we reached Saturday at the con, where I was quite hungover, got some breakfast, headed back to bed and finally got to the fursuit parade where something happened. I was standing on at the atrium of the hotel, watching everything going on, I feel something touch my head and the next thing I know, I'm getting lifted up off the floor by some friends who were not with me at the time. Details are pretty fuzzy, as was my vision at the time, got sent to hospital and checked out with a CT Scan and everything, lucky I had travel insurance otherwise I would've been out nearly $5000. Later on, found out that it was a mobile phone that hit my head and the rest of the con was a lot of me, resting in bed and just recovering as I was in extraordinary pain to the point of collapsing every now and then. Though I didn't wanna ruin anyone's good time so I put on a brave face and fought through it. Oh, and Chicago deep dish pizza is to die for!!!

The Wednesday after the con, I flew back to Sydney via LA, a four hour first flight, six hour layover and then a fantastic 15 hour flight back home. Going from 40F to 95F and dying. But it was great to see my family and stuff but not fun to be working again :P

All in all, I loved my holiday, I loved everyone I met (sorry for not mentioning most of you) and I look forward to coming back to try and top my best holiday ever!

Today, I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas, I hope Santa brought you what you wanted! He didn't check my list, no socks or shrink rays or even a trip to America but it's all good! Hope you have a happy holiday and enjoy the rest of 2015!!!

Yep, been here two years. Hmm, time for a bit of reflection. Came here quite a bit looking at pics and stories then signed up to it. Started getting more into the fandom. I chose to be a tiger at first, telling people that and stuff. Later I turned my focus onto being a roo, got a pic or two of him done then I changed to a skunkaroo.

Most of you would know me for the Skunkaroo I am, lots of pics done, not sure which one best represented my idea of my fursona, I guess it would be http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12934767/ if I had to choose one but even that wasn't perfect. XP

Now recently, I've moved back to being a regular kangaroo but still with my skunkaroo fursona traits such as my hair and colour scheme. I haven't posted any with me just as a roo but I think I will be quite soon.

So, that's two years of FA for me. Love all my friends now, wanna spend more time with them and be more active and whatever ^^
