Just something I've been thinking about for a while and have now sketched and drawn some stuff of ~

Already talked about why I drew OG cat Drake the way I did, pretty recently, but to just quickly bring up one of the reasons I drew him the way I did ~ A part of the reason as to why I drew him as an albino cat with black hair was for simplicity reasons aaand (I don't know if I mentioned this other reason) because I wanted him to look mostly like an average, sorta bland cat. Without him at all looking like some mixed/ hybrid cat with a part of his look possibly taken from some well known game, TV-series or comic or something like that.
But why is that?! Well it's mainly because I liked to daydream and write stuff about him in a way that made it easy to drop him into which ever world I wanted to without his look clashing with the world I was thinking about. If ya get what I mean? Like if I had based a lot of his look on some sort of pokemon or digimon creature so would I personally have been a bit bothered with how he wouldn't entirely fit in some classic sci-fi, fantasy or some normalish world I would be thinking about. Reason to why having him be just some normal cat with some uniqueness of being an albino was a nice fit. Would he still stand out some? Yes. But considering that being born with an albino trait is possible so was it a realistic/ grounded uniqueness ~

But now, when I have created a new main fursona that is even more average looking than Drake on my new main account, so have I more and more now been thinking about changing up OG cat Drake's look in a pretty major way. That would either take away the albino aspect of him completely or make him look like an albino that has gone through some major physical changes regarding his fur colors, tongue shape, the colors of his mouth and stuff like that. But yeah, nothing is set in stone yet when it comes to that part. Will think some more if I want to have him be some hybrid or not. :3

OG cat Drake is going to look pretty different soon ~

Just have had a great time daydreaming and thinking about what kind of world he lives in. I've even written down a bunch of details and facts about him that I'm probably going to upload in some sort of info sheet or whatever. So yeah, more stuff to come in art and story about him very soon ~ :3

Think it's for the better this way. I always hate it whenever I open requests or commissions and take suuuuuuuuuuuuuch a long time to try and get all of it done just to end up cancelling them all in the end. But it's at least better than to have you all wait for your stuff to be done just to get it a looooooooooooong time later. (As in who knows how many months later) On top of the quality of the work maybe not being up to your standards, or at least my standards.

I mean, the reason for me cancelling requests or commissions have never been because I have lost all interest in the art that I have been asked to make. It pretty much nearly always comes down to the perfectionist side of me waiting for the best time to work on it. Wherever it be when I am the least stressed by stuff or whenever it happens that I have a random burst of artistic motivation shoved into my head. or both of those things at the same time. Which my voretober work is a great example on. :O

So yeah, it pains me to cancel the requests and disappoint those who may still have been waiting for their stuff with any excitement. But I just don't want to have you wait any longer just for me to either put a stop to it even later or end up giving you something of a lower quality than I would like.

I hope you have gotten or will get some good nice art done for you in the near future ~

The 10th of November ~

Wonder if I should do anything special on the day. x3

Too keep it short and simple. I had a ridiculously strong start where I drew most of the pics before voretober had even started and finished most of them long before the first half of October had passed. . . and theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen I got stuck thinking about what sort of graAaAaaand end I would have after all of these pieces. But I could never decide on anything and before I knew it so had most of my motivation and energy for voretober run out. So instead of trying to rush out some overly complex last two pieces so did I just finish the last two some minutes ago with the second to last piece being the last inked and colored piece before a silly sketch end that comes out tomorrow. So that's how it is ~ :U

Maybe I should say that it's disappointing to end it like that, but to be honest so am I just amazed that I was even able to get as much good stuff done for this voretober (and for this year in general) with all the different kind of pieces that I now did for voretober. So yeah, maybe this doesn't end on a strong note, but whatever. It is what it is and compared to how my artistic motivations have been for the last months and especially since the last voretober that I did so am I MOOOORE than HAPPY to have been able to draw all that I did.

So yeah, sorry if you expected anything big to come out tomorrow for the last voretober piece. But I do hope you have enjoyed a bunch of the pieces that I did managed to put in some real work in to through out this month!<3

Don't take me wrong, I still VERY MUCH love Drake and all the work I have put into him and all the different versions I have made of him and gotten made for him. But as it has now soon enough been 10 years since I created him with the (kinda) first pic I ever made of him being this one: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/15330422/ and the first ever proper ref of him having been made (not by me) 9 years ago or so: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/17365796/ so have I just been wondering if I should more or less retire Drake as my fursona and keep him just as one of my most important OCs.

I mean, as I've said so do I still very much like him, but besides the kind of clothes and accessories I put on him so isn't he the most unique character ever. Not that uniqueness is anything I've been going for. But besides thinking that him being an albino cat is cool and all so I would I definitely be lying if I said that most of his looks wasn't made just to be easy to draw. Mostly for my sake but of course also for just about everyone else's sake. I mean, a character with mostly white fur (like 80% white fur) and looking like your average anthro cat? Not exactly a difficult subject to draw! xD Again, not that a character being difficult to draw mean that they are a better looking character, of course ~

But yeah, I've just been wondering if I should take some time to think about how a character that truly embodies my likes and interest and wasn't just made to be easy to draw would look like. Or even if I should go in the direction of basing him more on my IRL look. As at least as of current so have I not colored my hair black, cut it all emo like and been wandering around with the most edgy and black clothes. :U Though making him be very white wouldn't be the most inaccurate I suppose ~ x3

Not sure what my possible new fursona would be for some species though. I wouldn't be surprised if they would just end up being another cat or whatever, with cats being one of my favorite animals. Would have to look through other peoples characters to look for inspiration.
Just at the top of my head so would one of these species be the most likely ones I would pick from:

- Felines

- Snakes

- Lizards

- Mice

- Bats

- Squirrels

- Maybe fox

- Some kind of hybrid

One of those, yes ~ :O

As I said, still not sure if I want to do it or not. Still very much like Drake and haven't thought in detail about/ or sketched out any possible new fursona. But this has just been something that's been on my mind for a while now. :3

Just wanted to quickly tell those who's requests I ended up accepting that the requests will be done when they are done ~ Or to put it differently I will take my time with them and not stress myself crazy like I've had a silly tendency to do before! xD
I'll send you potential updates depending on what I'm drawing whenever it gets time for it and update you whenever asked about your request. But as I said, I will take my time with them. They are requests after all, not payed for commissions, and even if I don't want to keep any of you waiting for too long for your piece to be done so have I never had a great of a time stressing through anything, as I'm sure plenty of you can understand. :3
So be patient! I always have your requests in mind even when I may get other stuff done before your things. Your fun requests will be worked on with good energy and as little stress as possible ~<3<3<3

Just something I've been working on alongside thinking through how each of their own worlds look like and function. As I've never thought of them as character existing in one and the same world/ universe as OG Drake or that they are nothing but different versions he can shapeshift into ~ :O They each live in their own worlds and have different personalities and lives! And it's about time that I flesh out all the info that there is to write down about all of them ~ x3

Not that I'm going to draw nothing digitally, but it's going to be less than what I will draw traditionally. The reason for this change is simply because I've never been entirely comfortable drawing digitally and yet I've mostly drawn/ mostly put the most work in my digital stuff because "that's what everyone would like the see from me the most!" Or at the very least so has that been my thought process whenever I've been unable to stop myself from comparing myself to other artists and looked at what they are doing. "OH, okay, I guess I should mostly focus on digital stuff no matter how it feels to draw with a stylus peen and how floaty and glidy it feels!" :U "And it totally can't end up feeling a bit boring to use every single tool you are given in your drawing program with said stylus pen also!" Just the sort of thoughts that have been going on in my head for a while now and I want to get rid of them the best I can by stopping myself from being so obsessed with the thought of my drawings needing to be "good enough to post so that they get attention". I mean, even when I had commissions open for sketch commissions so didn't I entirely think of said "sketch commissions" as being sketches. As much as they were clean doodles or whatever. x3 So yeah, I will start drawing less digitally and focus more on using good old pen and paper and post whatever I get done drawing with less care for "perfect clean quality". :3 I hope you will look forward to whatever I will upload.<3<3<3

Sick and tired of drawing digitally and drawing "perfect and clean art pieces".
Will start drawing more traditionally with pen and paper and try to be less obsessed with perfect results. :3
That said, digital art won't vanish entirely. It will just be less than what I will draw traditionally. <3

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure been a while since I've made any sort of journal thanking you all for something like this ~ x3 Just the sort of stuff that you start to do less and less a while after you first start out on sites like this. But that of course doesn't mean that I don't get really happy whenever you all do stuff like watching me, commenting and faving my content. As randomly uploaded as it has become in recent days ~ xD

But still, soon over 10 years since I first came to this site and now I have reached over 44,000 Page Visits, received over 10,000 Comments aaaand (unless I'm mistaken the amount that I have faved for what you guys have faved) over 10,000 faves given out to my submissions by a bunch of you lovely people! On top of OVER 800 PEOPLE deciding to watch me too! It sure makes me happy that people have found my stuff interesting enough to give me such attention!<3 Despite how I'm not always been able to give it my all artwise. But anyway, I'm none the less happy for taking a liking to me and my stuff! :D

And of course so am I also happy for getting to know some good new friends here! No matter how much or little we may talk with each other so am I happy with the conversations and fun we have together!<3<3<3 Would feel quiet lonely and isolating on this site without you all! :3

Who knows how my future will look like on this site and with my art in general. I do wish to get some proper projects started without feeling like giving up on any of it like I have done in the past. But to do that so do I really need to think about what I want to create and keep making stuff for without growing tired of any of it, while also having fun creating whatever I want on the side. I have always been someone with big ideas swimming around in my head, it's just that I am stupid enough to see some of the slightest hurdles in front of those projects as excuses to give up and try something else. On top of feeling like I should be able to get a lot of things done as quickly as possible and not just give it its time. :U So yeah, just some things I need to give some proper thought and hopefully come to a good conclusion to. :3
