Wasp!
General | Posted 13 years agoThe night left you in a good mood, you have a nice comfortable sleep, and then suddenly... Hours before your intended waking time... WASP! You have NO business in my bedroom!
I swear, I want to smack the idiot who invented wasps (yes, I know wasps are not an invention). I was woken, and locked in heated combat for about 30 minutes, and by heated combat I mean, me standing there in fear trying to look for something to magically kill it without needing to get close. Of course, by the time I vanquished my foe, I was then too awake to get back to sleep. But praise me! For the world is now down 1 more wasp!

One to the Pile of Skyrim Journals
General | Posted 14 years agoI'm sure most people have been seeing and posting journals about Skyrim, as it just came out and everybody has been flipping out about the game.
I personally didn't want the game, I didn't see myself enjoying it because I'm over-sensitive about fighting dragons. In games like Final Fantasy it's ok, because they're not bloody games, and I can usually handle having to fight a dragon or two in any game, but what bothered me about Skyrim was that the game is pretty much about killing dragons and absorbing their souls. That wasn't to my liking.
But, I was gifted the game and made to play it... I left it downloading overnight, and today... Played it for 12 hours straight without a break!
My gosh, it's a great game. So great that I can get over my upset-ness of fighting dragons. It still gives me an unhappy feeling as I swing my sword in a dragon's face... But at least there's so much more to do in the game that I don't have to be constantly suffering as I'm forced to fight my favourite giant reptiles (I know, they're Wyverns, but they are a type of dragon. And they look awesome in this game anyway)
But anyway, gigantic thankies (even more gigantic than my big fat dragon belly) to my lovely partner for spending so much darn money on me! D: And for making me waste a whole day, and I'm sure more to come!
But yes, my man is the best <3 And I recommend getting Skyrim if you love Elder Scrolls.

School Reports
General | Posted 14 years agoSomething small and random that I just wanted to make a journal about.
The family has been going through old stuff from the attic (where things are stored), and among the stuff, my old school reports were found...
It's very interesting how most of them still hold true today. I can deal fine with doing something that I know, but when faced with something new that looks confusing or difficult, I have trouble concentrating and learning.
But over everything else, something even more true was written... "his behaviour, which is most of the time extremely disruptive, and quite often disturbingly abnormal"

Just a few days ago, I was still turning my fan on to cool me down, now I'm wishing I could breathe fire... Or at least be an ice dragon so that the cold doesn't affect me.
But I shall not turn into one of those fluffy dragons, that's for sure! Scales all the way *admires his shiny self in the mirror*

Dream Caused by Last Night's Art

Apparently my art is so awesome that it influences my dreams that very night!
Anyway, if you've seen my latest art, Blinded by the Diamonds, (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5719324) I had a dream in that very situation that night after drawing it.
It was in first person, I mined the diamonds, and then the lava started coming! It was travelling a lot faster than it actually does in Minecraft though, keeping up with me easily as I ran. I reached the corner and knew the Creeper would be there, and as I turned the corner, it jumped out right in my face! D: Scared the fudge out of me!
But it didn't seem to explode, so I continued running, jumping up steps and stuff, and the lava kept up at my own running speed. I made my way up the final steps to the surface, but apparently this lava was infinitely spawning and growing, so it come up, covered the whole surface, and continued raising as I jumped up a mountain/hill, then eventually I managed to fly so it was ok, and the lava did eventually stop.
Then I flew around the lava covered world, finding some islands occasionally, and also a huge stone pyramid, but that's all I remember.
Hmm, so if that's how it works, maybe next I should draw... tehehee!

ANOTHER FF4 Remake?

I've been a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series for many years, and I'm all for remakes of old titles. Heck, without them, I'd never have officially owned Final Fantasies 1-6.
But what annoys me is just how many darn times they remake the same ones!
I'm the kinda person who loves to have everything I possibly can. If a remake comes out that has more stuff in it than the original, I must have the remake, because I love extra stuff, better graphics, and whatnot. But when when they're continuously coming out with more remakes, it gets difficult, and money wasting.
This rant was specifically brought on by the recent remake of Final Fantasy 4. I bought it on PS1 a long time ago, then a few years ago I bought the 3D remake for DS, the one I assumed would be the final, ultimate remake (3D, voice acting, awesome!), but now this?
And the worst part is, it's not just a remake, it also includes The Afteryears, a brand new title that was released in the Virtual Console for the Wii maybe 2 years ago, which of course I've also already bought. Now it's also remade, so there's this FF4 complete collection for PSP that has everything, and I'm going to need to get at some point, but at the same time, I don't want to play FF4 again because I'm enjoying the 3D one instead... But the complete collection contains more content!

Too Much Minecraft

Actually, I thought I play it a lot less than most addicts would, but apparently I still play it too much.
I was in the middle of exploring perhaps the most complex mine I'd found in all my dozens of hours of playing in my world, and needed to go bathroom. It was late, everybody else was in bed, and all but the computer room were dark.
Is it a sign that I play too much Minecraft when, stepping out of the computer room and into the darkness, I actually stepped towards a wall to start putting torches up?
And then, while returning from the bathroom, got paranoid about a Creeper bouncing around the corner?
Yeeaah, I think that says "Break time for tonight!".

How could I forget to make a journal, and even worse, how could I not draw a Halloween themed picture?!
Quick, need excuse for not writing journal...
Ok, as a dragon, I was distracted by the shiny candy wrappers, and I got lost in a pool of candy, and only just got back out after eating them all! Took some hours to reach my computer because of this belly full of candy...
Hmm, and excuse for not drawing a picture before Halloween...
Uhh... HEY LOOK BEHIND YOU, A THREE-HEADED MONKEY! *flees*
Happy late Halloween anyway, hope you all had fun sugar rushes, I certainly did *noms severed finger*
What...? It's just a jelly! *throws jelly eyeballs at you*

Well it's about time I make a new one, so here it is:
I'm hopefully starting to enjoy drawing more, my love helps influence me to do so, so hopefully I shall have more arty goodness up at some point!
Evidently, I can even draw naughty stuff sometimes, so hopefully I can do a nice mixture of things I've had in my head for a long time.
Ok it's 6:30am, so I'd better rush off to sleep, this was just a quick journal! *curls up and sleeps*
