I just had a facepalm moment this morning when I got to work. I was listening to Jak on the radio on my way to work this morning and was thinking back about an interview they had not too long ago.

They had a guy on that they were interviewing (I don't remember who or what he was), and he made the joke that it's great living with gay roommates because the place is a lot cleaner and all the furniture is much nicer, and it's like living in a pottery barn store...

I thought about that as I was looking down at my bowl as I was getting ceral, and noted that it was from pottery barn, and simply said, "Crap..."

As FC is rolling closer it has come to my attention that my mate and I may have an unoccupied bed in our room. We need to figure out if this will be the case and if we want to go then, so I wanted to ask... who is planning on going to FC and who has not made room arrangements yet?

I have a friend up in the Seattle area that is looking for a place to live. Times have been tough and funds have not allowed this friend of mine to travel much to search for a job, not that it seems the market is kind to those who have worked under the table for family.

If anyone has space, or knows anyone that has space in their house/apartment/condo/cave/dwelling/hole, please let me know. Keva (Vercinaigh in some games and Dragon-XC on steam) could definately use some help. He is willing to take any job that doesn't demand heavy labor (no construction or the sort as he has some bad legs/feet/ankles and can't do that kind of work... yet). He'd offer to work around the house, do mechanic work or tech work (he is quite knowledgeable in dealing with computers). Even better too if anyone could help him get hired somewhere.

Time is very quickly running out though, as he's only got about a week before he will be forced out of his current place. If anyone can help or knows anyone that can help, please contact me or send a message to him (Dragon-XC on steam).

Hello everyone, I am hoping to generate interest for my current reservation at the Omni hotel. I currently have up to five (possibly six) spots available in my suite that is reserved from Thursday the 23rd (check in) to Monday the 27th (check out).

The quite includes a “superior” bedroom with two double beds and a sofa for sleeping space. If needed, I will make arrangements to bring an air mattress, should that need arise (however, this must be arranged before hand). Currently I have one individual that has requested a spot, I assume that he will be looking to take one of the beds, leaving another space in the bed (if no one minds getting a little cuddly), the sofa, and my air mattress if needed.

I got this room intending to have small social meets in outside of the convention area. While I don't mind a somewhat full room, I do not wish to entertain parties (unless small, which will need to be discussed earlier). Depending on everyone else's wishes, expect to be quiet by midnight. I will also expect bathing daily, looking to be in pleasant company and avoid con-crud. We'll keep this civil, any “out of the ordinary enjoyment” (to be mild) will be kept out of the room.

The cost per person will be 300, 250 if I can fill the room with more than five people total, I will collect payment two weeks before the convention to give a buffer should any emergencies arise.

We just got some bad news tonight when my grandpa came back from the hospital. Turns out, he's got a week at best to live. Needless to say, i'm very hopeful that that is not the case and something causes him to recover, but the future is not very optimistic.

As of now, we've made him as comfortable as can be and are awaiting additional medication to try and help.

Sadly, what I didn't know did hurt them, I had assumed that he had been heavily medicated, and that's why he was unable to focus or stay awake. Dono just what that would have done if I did call that out.

I'm still sitting here, though all this, wondering if I still have a heart...

Dis is the question... I am debating whether it would be even worth it to attempt to go to FC. I do not have a hotel room reserved so I would need to find someone that would allow me to stay with them. Cheap transportation (aka my car) takes 8 hours to get up there... not necessarily something I want to do, ride share may not be a bad thing but I could only leave Saturday afternoon... ect,ect.

So, before I can even decide:
Anyone willing to let me stay in their hotel room?
How much would I need to put forward for hotel expenses?
Is anyone leaving Saturday from the San Diego area?

Also, and more importantly: Is anyone that I know going to be attending? >.> Kinda pointless to go if I dono anyone. D:

I am happy that I got myself motivated to learn C++ on my own time and to journal before the depression I felt was coming had a chance to settle in. I am greatly enjoying this new routine, despite the stresses it puts on my time. I have to laugh at myself though, at some of what comes to me in my journal... I am such a fool. For one that wants to do something that benefits others, and leave them to discover it without any pointers to who did such, I sure do want a lot of recognition for doing so... It slightly disturbs me...

Also, I believe it would be safe to expect some stories to come out of my journal and be posted here... Hopefully there will be some that would be interested in reading them and would look forward to them.

Be warned /rantmode on. Yes I feel the need to rant a bit, mostly over work stuff. Don't worry it will be short.

Its just work mostly... then Dave's computer and the constant interruptions from my grandparents, which I don't mind as much because they really do need the help and I love them dearly... But MY GOD~! When will *** (work doesn't want me saying their name D:) go and give me a new position AFTER giving me the training and resources I need? This has happened multiple times, I was given condensed training where much of what was going on didn't even apply to what I was going to be doing on the game I support. Then I go to replace our code specialist whom I got absolutely no training from and was not prepared AT ALL when I took his place. We didn't even have anyone who could use the database effectively, which was part of that individual's main job. On top of DB stuff I knew nothing on how to run reports and how to write up new test plans for content. Luckily, (and apparently) I am a quick learner and an individual capable of taking on new tasks that i don't have much or any prior knowledge of (I know that sounds very arrogant, I don't mean it that way). i managed to figure everything out half way through the period the specialist was out, and was getting stuff done somewhat efficiently. I come to find out later that they were so impressed with my work, they didn't even know the prior specialist had left.

Then they said that I'd become primary support for Web and Tech, ontop of being primary support for Code. This was all good and great... until the testing for the web stuff got delayed... and delayed again, and then we got sent home for offsite testing. Well there went my training... again. Now i'm left in the same position, with completely different content that I have to learn on the fly. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~! *a-splodes*

And then there's Dave's Dell computer... seriously, screw that thing. Would not take the friggen network drivers after a reformat. I am done trying to fix and re-fix that thing. Get a new one before I take a hammer to the thing!

*huffs* well I think that's about it for the time being... DEFINATELY looking forward to RF in a few days and being with  Xylex  Freyskol and  darkvyce . <3<3<3

Well for those of you who haven't gotten an update on my status here it is. For the most part my flu is gone now. But it turns out that the flu gave me pneumonia. D: If its not one thing, its another. *mumbles*

You know... When you have to work yourself up for 5 minutes to remove that bowl of chicken noodle soup from the microwave... something is definately wrong.

And what ever it is I've got, its weird. First 102 fever, headache, dizzyness, minor cough which is normal enough... Then I wake up after trying to go to sleep, feeling like I've got hypothermia, probably caused by the fever. So I go down stairs to get something to eat... and thus comes the 5 minutes thing... slumped to the ground and could not get up for 5 minutes. Then well... emptying my stomach after a couple bites. (Doing that when there's nothing in your stomach REALLY FRIGGEN HURTS! D:

Now this... back to pounding headache, the hypothermia. D:

Well I will officially be 20 on june 20th in 2 hours PST... Excited, but I havn't really got any plans for celebrating. I dono, to be honest it doesn't seem very exciting.

I've got to ask though, is it bad that I can't believe that I am still, at this moment, a teenager? I feel like I had hit 20 a loooooong time ago. Then again I do act pretty kiddish from time to time. Ah well happy birthday and hatchiday to me. :D

And no i'm not 21 yet, so no trying to bring me to gay bars and stuff yet. Have to say though, the idea of going out to a night/dance club does sound kind of fun. c.c

So I've totally been debating this whole TV thing for ages... and I finally went ahead and get a TV. I'm so happy with my new 46 inch Sony TV n.n I would totally say movie night at my place, but I'm sure no one here is within distance of my place. *frowns*

I suppose its been a while since i've actually given a decent life update, soooooo I may as well do so now.

First off, I've finally got a job, which I am very excited to start. I'll be working for Sony Online Entertainment as a game tester in the building beside my dad's... (( And also apparently i'll be working right beside one of my fur-friends so even better. :p)) I should be starting this monday if everything goes over well and my background check gets to them on time. Everything has been last minute with this whole experience... Hi we want to get you in for a first interview can you be down here in one hour? *still nekkid, un-showered, ect.* oh we just had a 2nd interview cancel on us, can you be down here in 30 min? *unprepared and lives 35 minutes away roughly* >.> <.< I suppose its better than the SLOOOOOOOOOOOOW pace SoE has with everything else though >.>

Next I'm looking to build myself a new computer when ever I get paid back from mom or work gives me enough funds to do so... I'm tired of only having a single core CPU in my box D: Will be funny to see the jump in power when I go from single core to quad core :D I can't wait for that.... especially since my computer system seems to be constantly dividing my 0 and trying to go boom! (Honestly what computer calls someone over skype when you push the power button on your monitor?! Not once, mind you, but twice!!!)

Oh yeah and it seems I will have a couple individuals coming to visit me.  anthroraptor is moving down to go after a possible job, and will be in range to visit quite often, and I will probably have  xylex come out to look for possible jobs as well, once I get the last few things settled with the family.

Oh lastly, i'm looking for another MMORPG to play, League of Legends is great and all but I am getting a bit tired of it... I want to play something that actually lets you progress in things. Soooo~ any suggestions, lets hear em. Not very keen on going back to WoW though mind you.

That 6.9 earthquake just hit Baja California a few minutes ago, so far no damage is reported. And for anyone wanting to know we're all fine here, mom and my sister are a little bit shaken up about it, but thats about it. Fun fact, the northridge earthquake that did much damage up north, with the epicenter in california was a 6.7

6. OOoooh that! *chuckles* at Bryagh's mention I gotta tell this one. Back in my freshman year of high school we had the most awesome journalism teacher. One day she said she didn't feel like teaching so we ordered pizza and had a party around the campus. While doing that we were taking about what to do and for some reason I volenteered to sing Shania Twain's Man I Feel Like a Woman infront of the whole class... (which half of the class joined in after I started.) What made it so awesome is we went around campus offering different teachers a slice of the left over pizza if they got up and sung Man I Feel Like a Woman! God it was halarious! :D (and I've gotten Bryagh to sing it too :D)

7. Waaaay back when I was living with my dad at my grandma's house, there was a doughnut shop we'd go to pretty often that had the most amazing doughnut! It was called a bigfoot, and it literally was a big foot shaped doughnut. *chuckle* It took me so long to finish that thing when I got it! :p

8. Oh and lastly, I've got a pregnant belly, or so says alot of my friends because it doesn't squish like pudge :p
