Thank You All for 100k!
Posted 6 years agoJust the other day I reached 100k pageviews here on FA and I wanted to say thank you to you all!
It is amazing really how much things change over the course of just a few years, it feels like it's been way longer.
About 3 years ago when I was still living on my own in Switzerland, I remember talking to Thaz how I don't think furcons are all that great and who needs to meet all those weird online people. We're gonna have a normal life, hanging out with normies. Haha boooooi was I wrong!
Once Thaz and I moved in together, things started changing so fast. We've met quite some local Swiss furries and eventually went to our first furcon at EF. I totally wasn't prepared how amazing it would be! I was so nervous thinking like what if I don't know what to do or say, what if I say something weird, what if there's awkward silence, AAAAAaaaaaa!
And you know what? None of that mattered at all and we had such a splendid time at our first furcon! It was Corvidius who introduced us to lots of the furries and we met up with so many friends. Things really went full speed from there on, we met so many wonderful people and our furry friends started visiting us in Switzerland at our flat. I never knew before that meeting furry friends irl would become such an integral part of my life. I could never be so open about everything with normie friends, so being with my furry friends really opened up a whole new world! :D
I've met so many furries in the past 2 years, I honestly cannot imagine my life without the furry side. I am really glad to have you all as friends and I'm deeply thankful I've met you all. As much as I'd love to mention every single one of you, the journal would get pretty big. ^^; With that, I'd like to say a big rawring THANK YOU to you all, for being my friends, for being supportive, for being part of my life and for showing me so much furry love!
And lastly, a big thank you to all my watchers who enjoy my silly macro shenanigans!
I hope you like the stompy content, this big derg is always gonna continue romping and stomping. xD

Post-EF25 Experience
Posted 6 years agoEven though we've just returned today from EF25, I felt like writing up this journal while my memory is still fresh.
Every year I think that EF can't get any crazier or more awesome, and then every year it does exactly that! It was just so crazy and amazing out there, I enjoyed myself so very much.
I always meet up with the regular Nassbirnen crew
It's always such a pleasure around you crazy guys (and gal), and I totally blame corvidius for introducing me to you. XD I wish we could have spent more time together though, but as usual the con goes by so fast. I hope to see you again in 2020, cause EF just wouldn't be the same without you. Hopefully if weather permits, I'll see you Arokh sweet derg in a few weeks for some nice mountain dragon hiking. ^^
This year was an absolute pleasure to meet
from overseas. You guys are absolutely awesome and I hope your first furcon (or first EF) have been a blast! From what I've seen from Kurt, you definitely got the EF experience. Kurt may look like a very menacing brazilian derg, but he's actually one of the most adorables draggies I have ever met. ^^
The artist lounge can be quite fun as well, where I can always find the busy polish goblins (internal pun)
I love meeting you guys every year and I really hope you have a great honeymoon! There is also the incognito dragon that lurks around, namely 
who constantly teases me. xD It's always so great to see you big draggy and share our love for kaijus. Thanks for introducing me to the adorable 
whom I always seem to mistake for a dragon haha.
Of course big thank you and a big macro Toblerone goes to
for organizing the lovely macro meet! It was totally packed as usual, but big donk, you gotta slow down in the future and spend more time with macros. ^^

after all these years. It was super great to spend time with you and I also hope your first EF experience has been a really good one! :D

Engaged to Thaz!

Two days ago on a nice sunny afternoon, at a mountain watch tower
thaz decided to propose to me.
Despite my family disapproving me being gay and the fact they don't like Thaz, I have still decided to say YES. We are engaged now!
We are on our way building our life together, since I've known him for more than 12 years now, started dating 5 years ago and we've been living together 1,5 years.
Life will continue to be a wild ride and I look forward to the future. So many new exciting things to look forward to!
In other news, Eurofurence was really great this year. :D I met up with a lot of friends and it was so much fun to spend time together again. I am so glad I got to know better arokh and artherion, two really wonderful big dragons. ^^ I can't wait to spend more time together. And also for the first time, serb and geltydrake decided to join EF and it was so great meeting you guys! I hope all the best to dcuk in his endeavours, it's so great to see you happy like that. Best of luck!
The micro/macro meet did not strike my fancy this year unfortunately. I left before it was finished as the photoshoot was taking way too long and for some reason I did not really feel so great. :( I can't really say why, but overall I disliked this year's macro meet compared to EF23 which was really great.
Many more new things will be coming next year, hopefully lots of friends visiting us in Switzerland, like ap-dc, corvidius and pyronite did this year. It was so much fun hanging out with you guys!
Lastly, the next cons include the swiss GLC, albeit it might be our last this year. I have some wonderful swiss furry friends, but I just don't feel so great at GLC everyone talking in swissgerman most of the time.
For next year we definitely go to EF again, it will be our default con. We are also planning on attending Confuzzled 2019, after hearing some great comments from Switch and Typhek. ^^

10 year anniversary!
Posted 7 years agoToday marks my 10 year anniversary since I made my FA account!
Oh my gosh it's been 10 years since my "furry outing". I already feel like a greymuzzle haha.
I started off mostly as a stalker, just watching macro art. ^^ Eventually I started getting commissions and posting more art with Draxi and others as well. I became very active in the past 2 years I would say and actually the last year reached its peak.
This was when Thaz and I attended our first furcon, EF23. It was truly as amazing as others have told me it would be and now I am looking forward to going every year.
I realized after turning 30 that the best years, namely the 20s, are finished and there were so many things I haven't done in my 20s. That was around the time when I decided to become more active in my furry life and create a balance between real life and being a furry.
Once me and Thaz moved in together last year, we started opening up more. We made new furry friends who often visit us now in Switzerland from the neghbouring borders. ^^
I am so happy I've met so many amazing people over the past years, who have become great friends. I consider myself fortunate to be in such great company. It's been really 10 wonderful years and I think the next 10 years will even top that. XD Definitely looking forward to it!

Hello 2018 with a sigh
Posted 8 years agoI know it's quite belated, but I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
I hope you all had really nice holidays with friends and family and enjoyed a respit. For those who didn't have holidays, I hope you manage to find some free time to relax and rest too.
I just wanted to say a few words about my life atm. The year 2018 was not even 4 days long when bullshit was thrown in my face...
I am sorry I have been quiet on Skype for the past weeks, especially this one, but I got into quite some "disagreements" with my boss at work. :( I have been told my work is not good enough and that I don't work hard enough by a 20-minute speech from my boss, and it's been devastating for me. I have put so much effort into our lab, I gave up so much free time, working many extra hours and did many extra favors and helped everyone who works there.
My job is primarily a scientist and my secondary roles are IT support and scientific/administrative manager. I have done an outstanding job for the past 5 years and have poured a lot of energy into improving the lab, and to be told right after New Year I am not working hard enough...it really hit me hard.
I will probably remain quite demotivated for some time now, until all of this blows away. I really hope the rest of you had a better beginning of 2018.

Also it seems during my time in Berlin at EF I have reached more than 1000 watchers omg! :D Thank you all so much by watching me, cause I only upload commissions and such. It's really nice to know so many people like to watch lil' ol' dragon like me.
This was the very first furry con for me and Thaz, and I gotta say it was amazing! That just doesn't even begin to describe all the fun times we had with the furries as well as all the macros. XD corvidius and ap-dc were the first ones we met at the airport before going to Estrel. We didn't have a room at the Estrel unfortunately, but Corv and Rashy were kind enough to let us use their room throughout the con.
Very soon we were met by the other macros with a truck-load of beer! XD We met up with dcuk arokh ridleydupree switchmegawolf blueanthroraptor quite a large crowd of rampaging macros! Blue Raptor gave me and Thaz right away a wonderful little gift made of beads in egyptian style. The time I spend with all of you guys was really amazing! I totally dig DCUK's badge, drinking truck-loads of beer, it suits you so much you big draggy! XD And I found another person, Ridley, a giant godzilla fan like myself with whom I can just chit chat for like hours with no stopping haha. Let's see one day how long we can last blabbering about everything in existence before we pass out. XD Switch was running around the con and I didn't get to see him much, but I'm glad we met. Next time we try to chat more. I wish I could have chatted more with Arokh as well, but since you are not far from us, would be great to stomp over. :D
Eventually the Macro Meet came to pass, with several of us helping luckywesel to build up the entire city that got stomped later. XD It was quite some effort, but we did it and then suddenly like 30 people came barging in as they were waiting outside the door lol. I would say the macro meet was a great success, so thank you very much Esel for organizing such a wonderful meet! I'll help out again anytime with building up paper cars for stompage. Thaz was fursuiting a bit at the macro meet, but came a bit late to the party since we had to go back to the room to get him into the suit. ^^; But it was loads of fun seeing all the big fursuiters and taking lotsa photos. :) Lots of big hugs (and stomps) to be had!

I am so glad you decided to come to the con as well. ^^ Also meeting ricsimane and red-izak was great! I'm glad you managed to resolve the printing issues before the con. It was definitely worth coming! :D
I apologize if I didn't mention everyone, there were so many things happening around the con. Like everyone always says about furcons, I also definitely had the time of my life! Meeting all of you guys/gals was just so amazing, I had so much fun with all of you and I wiill definitely come to the next EF or another con. It is so worth the time, holidays and money to attend a con with friends as amazing as you guys/gals!

This was the very first furry con for me and Thaz, and I gotta say it was amazing! That just doesn't even begin to describe all the fun times we had with the furries as well as all the macros. XD
corvidius and ap-dc were the first ones we met at the airport before going to Estrel. We didn't have a room at the Estrel unfortunately, but Corv and Rashy were kind enough to let us use their room throughout the con. Very soon we were met by the other macros with a truck-load of beer! XD We met up with
dcuk arokh ridleydupree switchmegawolf blueanthroraptor quite a large crowd of rampaging macros! Blue Raptor gave me and Thaz right away a wonderful little gift made of beads in egyptian style. I totally dig DCUK's badge, drinking truck-loads of beer, it suits you so much you big draggy! Let's see one day how long we can last blabbering about everything in existence before we pass out. XD Switch was running around the con and I didn't get to see him much, but I'm glad we met. Next time we try to chat more. I wish I could have chatted more with Arokh as well, but since you are not far from us, would be great to stomp over. :D
Eventually the Macro Meet came to pass, with several of us helping
luckywesel to build up the entire city that got stomped later. XD It was quite some effort, but we did it and then suddenly like 30 people came barging in as they were waiting outside the door lol. I would say the macro meet was a great success, so thank you very much Esel for organizing such a wonderful meet! I'll help out again anytime with building up paper cars for stompage. Moving in with Thaz
Posted 8 years agoI don't really use these journals a lot, so I just wanted to throw a bit of info out there. ^^
As some of you know already, thaz and I are moving in together finally. We've been going out for 3 years now and by some crazy chance, we applied for a really great flat and managed to get it. It all happened so fast and we didn't want to miss this opportunity since a lot of people were interested in this flat, so we accepted it.
Moving day is in April so until then we have lots to do and prepare, I'm really excited about it. XD It will be really hard though to leave my current dragon den since it's so nice and cozy.
Also on another note, we will both be going for the first time to EF this year. =D We've been going to the local swiss furmeets lately, but this will be our first furry con. I am really looking forward to meeting fellow furries and friends there. Even more exciting!
