Now that this is done, it is time for me decide what to work on next. On one hand, I should get off my butt and start working on Shared Identity again. On the other, I feel like I owe my Ko-fi either another character cameo story, or commission openings. Hmmmm.

While I was doing my final editing pass on my most recent story, I realized that there were *a lot* of typos in the preview that I shared a few days ago. The preview has been updated, and is hopefully less terrible now, ugh.

Hey all, it seems that FA has finally added a pdf viewer! However, it is kind of tiny on certain devices like phones. I figured I should recommend a method to make it more readable.

Step 1. On the top of the viewer, there is a control bar with various options. Scroll it all the way to the right until you see two arrows, and click them: >>
Step 2: A list of options should appear. Click "Presentation Mode"

The story should now fill your whole screen, and be much more readable!

I am probably going to have to insert these instructions into each of my submissions. Not quite ideal, but this is why I also paste the story text into the descriptions. Let me know how well this works for you!

I have been dealing with a sinus infection for over a month, and it has completely drained the life out of me. I'm now on my second week of antibiotics, in hopes that they actually make this go away.

Here are some of my goals for the future:
1. To try and start working on longer stories and settings again, like the Costume Shop and Shared Identity
2. Increase my writing rate so that I can create one story/chapter a month.
3. Try creating an actual book! (Been struggling with this for years)

I've been worrying for a while that the large number of commissions in my gallery can make it more difficult for people to find the actual things that I've created myself. So, I've moved a bunch of commissions that aren't directly related to my stories into my 'Scraps'. Not all of them, but enough that they hopefully aren't overwhelming my gallery quite as much as before. I'll probably do more 'pruning' in the future as well.

Luckily, it seems that this artwork will still come up if you click on one of my gallery folders. They just aren't visible in the main gallery now.

I may as well also mention that I have a new work in progress story available on my Ko-fi. It is a Miraidon nanite goo transformation! It is only half done, but I am starting to get really into it now that the TF has started~

Two announcements!

First, I have a new story preview on Ko-fi! Like a lot of my stories, this one was inspired by some dragon pooltoy encasement art that I commissioned from @Nakase, and I'll be sharing the finished version of it publicly in about a week or two. This one is on the shorter side, but I had a lot of fun writing it. :)

So, a few months ago I submitted a ticket to FA asking them if it was alright to share links to my character.ai bots in my submissions. I finally got a response, and apparently talking about or sharing AI in general is against the code of conduct rules. Even indirectly telling people how to get to anything AI related is against the rules.

I understand being against AI generated submissions, but I wasn't actually expect them to be completely against everything AI related. I personally think this is too strict, but I am not going to fight FA on it.

I thought I was playing it safe by just vaguely mentioning that I had these bots and having a link to my character.ai profile, but I think even doing that much will risk getting me in trouble. I am going to be going through my FA page and removing all AI related comments and links in order to play it safe.

I'll only be sharing that stuff on my other web pages in the future.

Well, the time I have dreaded has finally arrived: I'm now 40 years old. And honestly, it doesn't feel as bad as I thought it would.

I've been upset about my age for a while, partly because I feel like I wasted so much of my life being afraid of getting into the things that I secretly craved. I was afraid to embrace being a furry, afraid to accept my kinky side, afraid to actually buy latex. I lost an entire decade because I was desperately trying to be 'normal' and avoiding 'temptation'. It took me too long to realize that I was making myself miserable by letting neurotypical people tell me what kind of person I am supposed to be.

But you know what? Now I'm just glad that I'm able to be myself. I still feel like I need to make up for lost time, but at least now I'm not holding myself back. I'm feeling happier than I have been in years, and I'm looking forward to years more of being a silly, kinky, rubber-loving dragon manic. :)

I've finally started getting ready to write more chapters for "Shared Identity"! It'll be a little while before anything new gets produced because I will do an editing pass on the original ten chapters first. I started re-reading them to refresh my memory of the plotline and was horrified by all the errors. I can't just ignore the errors now that I've seen them. XD

These edits will consist mainly of grammatical fixes and a few rewritten paragraphs to improve the story flow. I'll be posting previews on my Ko-fi as I complete each chapter, and then I'll eventually update my original submissions on FA and DA.

Honestly, I've been wanting to re-write the entire story into a novel, but that would be a major project that I don't think I'll have the mental focus to finish anytime soon. So, I'll just stick with edits for now. Once I've finished that, I'll start writing a new chapter. :)
