This poor chap
karmelofuzz has had a fursuit stolen from his car.
It was clearly a planned theft. The head, hands and tail of the fursuit stolen but his GPS, car stereo, cheque book were left untouched. The suit wasn't even visible through the windows of the car.

I'd parked in a field entrance to take some pictures of the snow we've just had fall and whilst I was out of my truck, it suddenly slid forwards down a short muddy slope and into a tree. The bull bar she has on the front stopped there from being any damage worth worrying about, but the bumper folded like tin foil so it looks worse than it is.
Mum freaked out when she saw it, and she's still raging about it.
I know it's my fault for parking my truck where I did, but the mud was under fresh snow and I was under the impression that a parking brake meant your car was parked. Doesn't mean it can't go sliding around with the wheels not turning.
So: Fuck mud, fuck my life.

The first video game I ever played was "Super Mario Land" (the first one) for Gameboy. It was an addictive game, with progressive difficulty as you went through the worlds and levels (four worlds, three levels to a world, in sequential order with a boss every third level. It's one of those old fashioned side scroller games where you start with three lives, get a continue every time you go to the next world and doesn't have a save function.
I remember playing this on my older brother's beat up old yellow gameboy. The plastic protecting the screen had been pickled off and the battery cover was held on with sticky tape, and I sat there for hours trying to get as far as my brother, who couldcomplete the whole game easily with a dozen lives at the end. I could barely get to level 6 (world 2 level 3) with the marine pop submarine. I have lots of fond memories of that game.

It was an addictive game, with progressive difficulty as you went through the worlds and levels (four worlds, three levels to a world, in sequential order with a boss every third level. It's one of those old fashioned side scroller games where you start with three lives, get a continue every time you go to the next world and doesn't have a save function.
I remember playing this on my older brother's beat up old yellow gameboy. The plastic protecting the screen had been pickled off and the battery cover was held on with sticky tape, and I sat there for hours trying to get as far as my brother, who couldcomplete the whole game easily with a dozen lives at the end. I could barely get to level 6 (world 2 level 3) with the marine pop submarine. I have lots of fond memories of that game.
I still have it, and still can't complete it.
