Posted 13 years agoSo I told y'all that I would be doing this, hoping that this actually brings discussions and more activity to the group. Just a reminder, the rules on Submissions and Favorites have been added on the profile section. Please read over them and contact me if you have any questions. So without further ado, lets get on with the discussion!Simple Question this week: What products do you use to help maintain your locks on a daily basis?This includes shampoo, moisturizer, twist gel (if you twist or not), ect. You can also talk about how you maintain your locks on a daily basis, that is if some of you have them. If you don't have any, this is great for you to learn and get inspiration for when you get some. LET IT FLY!Another (small) Update!
Posted 13 years agoI have updated the rules about submissions and favorites on the profile section, please give that a read before you suggest anything to me regarding to submissions and favorites. Rules may change in the future so stay on the look out.
Also, I want this group to be somewhat more active so I decided that every Sunday, starting tomorrow, I will ask one question about locks and start up a discussion. Don't worry, I'll remind myself somehow to keep doing this. XD
Please, any suggestions on how to keep this group alive an fun are welcome. Comment on this journal or send a note and I'll respond! Posted 13 years agoSup Lock fam? Yes this account is still alive and I have not forgotten about it. Don't have too many updates right now but you guys are more than welcome to keep showing your support for people/characters with dreadlocks. Also, if you have suggestions for favorites/submissions (clean please), please let me know in a comment on this journal or the shout out page.
I guess it's the perfect time to start up a discussion on locks and I'll keep it simple. Why do you like dreadlocks? Is it the style, spiritual roots, more natural, just wanting long hair, etc? Just spill out your reasons to why you have/support dreadlocks in general.
P.S. I've been locking for about 11 months now, about to reach my one year anniversary. So stoked about it! New watchers!
Posted 14 years agoI just want to say thanks for your interest in watching the group. I'll try to keep up with updates as best as I can, I'm not the best at modding groups. Also, if you have any suggestions, dreadlock art favorites, ect, leave a comment down below or on the shout out page. Again, thank you for watching!

Posted 14 years agoOkay, I'm not perfect when it comes to moderating groups, so I'll be looking for a partner or 2 to help keep up with updates on this group. If you're interested in becoming a co-moderator, just leave a comment on this journal saying that you're interested. I'm a newbie in the loc game so It'll be alot helpful if a veteran can co mod this group.
