Neo Prohibition
Posted 3 months agoAnd we mark the last day of freedom with YouTube.
Since they’re implementing the, all time, STUPIDEST decision they’ve made; don’t care that the dislike function was turned off much, that’s only a small thing.
And knowing another thing going on online, please don’t ask me to get into it; it feels as though we’re going through another prohibition, minus the alcohol. The more they implement these things, the more people are gonna just find ways to go around them, and they’re already failing since people HAVE found ways around.
I don’t think these things are here to stay, especially since bullying and threats are being used to try and enforce them. A literal war could start because of all this and the people in control would even bat an eye of others got hurt.
I don’t believe these laws are here to stay… but we’ll need a miracle and pray that a solution will come.

(Belated) Mama's Day 2025
Posted 6 months agoFor all the mothers, Happy Matriarchtical Day to you.
It was here that the form of Eloise Corduroy strutted into view; the motherly hyena was wearing nothing but a sparkling V-kini that barely concealed her curvy body; her massive orb bouncing freely as her rear cheeks jiggled with each sway of her hips.
Eloise: And to all mamas. if you still got it, does a sexy pose you flaunt it.~
Oh, Eloise... you truly are a handful.
Eliose: Love ya back, Sugah.~

Rewriting Pointless Characters-Mordant
Posted 6 months agoNow, for any who grew up in the 90s, you’re already familiar with Power Rangers; a live action superhero show that was adapted from Japan, but edited to appeal to western audiences.
One of the lower points of MMPR, I apologize to say… is the MMPR movie. Especially since it introduced a character that hasn’t appeared before or even after the movie; Mordant, a pig-like monster.
Now, if he were related to the pig monster from the first season, I’d have believed it. It was stated in deep lore that he was Goldar’s cousin… but no inform was given about him, and at no point was his name ever said in the movie.
As a result, Mordant was an even more useless minion that Baboo and Squatt, and even they had times to shine before they vanished from the franchise.
Which begs the question, how would you rewrite to have Mordant fit or make sense in MMPR?

Abu Disney
Posted 6 months agoSo, Disney's announced a new theme park and resort to be built in Abu Dhabi.
I'd say Disney's riding on the coattails of WB, Ferrari and SeaWorld; but hey, maybe it'll work out.
They might need the revenue since the live-action remakes keep failing.
But I won't judge.

Agh the Beach with Eloise/Maman Brigitte
Posted 6 months agoWith uploading being disabled for the time being, I thought I’d make this.
Let’s pretend your OC is on a date with my yeen MILF nurse, Eloise Corduroy; or, as she was called back in her days as an exotic dancer, Maman Brigitte. Be they male, female, trans, nonbinary, or the like, where would they take her and what would they do?
Just remember, no abuse or anything gross is allowed.
Doesn’t matter what age they be, so long as they’re of legal age above 21.

Looney Tunes: The Day the Earth Blew Up
Posted 7 months agoEarlier this weekend, I saw a movie based on Lonney Tunes starring Daffy Duck and Porky Pig; The Day the Earth Blew Up, and I gotta say…. It’s the best animated movie based on cartoons this year has, and we’re only in March.
It was funny, it had a lot of heart, and the best thing; it was completely 2-D animated!
Another plus is that it does NOT have a star studded cast like most animated flicks out in modern times. Unless you count Peter MacNicol and Wayne Knight. But there in the cast we have Eric Bauza, Candi Milo, Kimberly Brooks, Carlos Alrazqui, Fred Tatasciore, Laraine Newman, Andrew Kishino, Keith Ferguson; and that’s who I could recognize.
True talent was belong to bring this to life, special mention goes to
Themadcatter himself, Andrew Dickman as he was one of the storyboard artists.
Like most from WB, this was supposed to be an exclusive to the streaming service, Max, but got shelved for completely dumb reasons, but was picked up by and indie studio called Ketchup after it was shown in a film festival.
If you love Looney Tunes and want to enjoy a good, old-fashioned 2-D movie like in days of yore; by all means, give it a watch if you’ve the time.
Oh, one last thing before I end this journal…. David Zaslav can SUCK IT!

PRxSS: Tragic Connection
Posted 8 months agoThis journal hurts to make... but I can't hold it back any longer.
As anyone born in the 80s-90s, you likely tuned into Fox Kids, if not for Saturday morning cartoons; it's for Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.
As many a fan of Tokusatsu, it's common knowledge Power Rangers was the Western adaption of a Japanese superhero show known as Super Sentai. Though SS began in 1975 with Himitsu Sentai Goranger, Power Rangers began in 1993 after the 16th entry, Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. A popular entry, even to this day thanks in part for it's story and adding the sixth ranger.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers set the stage for live-action superhero shows, though not the first in America, became a national phenominon. The team went as followed: Jason the Leader, Zack the second-in-command, Kimberly the gymnast, Billy the genius, Trini the honorable fighter, and later on Tommy the villain turned hero. Tommy first became the Green Ranger, then the White Ranger before becoming the leader after Jason, Zack, and Trini left. The trio were replaced by Adam, Rocky, and Aisha, with Kat replacing Kimberly, even Aisha with Tanya at the series finale.
But what no one knows is that Zyuranger wasn't the first choice for Haim Saban to adapt, in fact; he tried to adapt the eighth entry, Choudenshi Bioman. He even got Mark Dacascos and Miguel Nunes Jr. to play the Red and Green Rangers for the pilot trailer.... but it was never picked up. If anything, the robot sidekick in that show had to be the inspiration for Alpha 5-9.
Now I'm bet everyone's wondering "With all this droning, what does Bioman have to do with MMPR?"... well... it's likely a coincidence... but it's something that's been eating at me.
You see, characters dying is nothing new in either shows, but despite being a kids show; Super Sentai had heroes dying here and there. The second KiiRanger and Black Condor, the first Cossack Jack was shot, Dragon Ranger Burai... that on hurts the most to this day. Which brings me to the subject of this journal... the death of the Yellow Ranger in Bioman. Thing is, the actress who played the Yellow Ranger left after only nine episodes, no one really knows the reasons, and since the producers couldn't have her in Ranger form 24/7.... they decided to kill off her character.
The character was rather cheerful and had a love of life, so it was a shock she was given such a brutal death. Thing was, one of the villains created a gun that shot energy that weakened the heroes and eventually kill them.... unfortunately.... the Yellow Ranger ended up being shot at the most and she dies at the end of the episode.
Fast forward to 2001, eight days before one of the worst things to happen in America.... Thuy Trang, the actress who played Trini... got into a car accident... and she died on her way to the hospital; an episode of PR Time Force was dedicated to her.
Now, I know, there's a difference, not only in PR and SS, but also a completely different entry that was never even adapted... but still... it hurts all the same. In Bioman, the Yellow Ranger was an all-loving heroine, and in real life, Thuy Trang was said to be a caring person. I just can't help but see parallels between these two.
I apologize for all this, I don't mean to bring anyone down, and I hope no one else feels the same way I do about this, but whenever I see this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_q6rQS8MRS8 ... it hurts more that we'll never see Trini ever again, even though she technically was in Once and Always.

Trini Kwan
Posted 9 months agoThroughout the entire Power Rangers franchise, we’ve met and went through many journeys with many teams; some even had to be replaced for personal reasons. As many know, Tommy Oliver is the most popular out of any known Ranger. I do apologize if all the journals I’ve made mostly focus on the more negative side of his character; I’ve nothing against him, he’s one of my favs too. But thing is, while he’s a good Ranger… he’s not that spectacular a leader.
He wasn’t a bad leader, he did his job the best he could, but the problem lies that there was just too much of him. And his character arc basically ended with MMPR.
There are other Rangers, in my opinion, who are much better suited as a leader: Jason, who was the leader of MMPR first; Billy Cranston, who took over when the team were turned into kids; Adam Park, Zeo seemed to promote him becoming a leader like Jason and Tommy; the White Alien Ranger, who co-lead her team with the Red Ranger when MMPR were turned into kids; Zack Taylor, who was the unofficial leader in Once and Always. To me, however, the one most deserving of leadership was the MMPR Yellow Ranger and very first Yellow Ranger herself. Trini Kwan.
When it comes to Trini, yes, she was exceptional in martial arts, but she also had a lot of heart. She had doubts in herself and a lot of insecurities, but she still fought with honor and valor just as much as any other Power Ranger, if not more. In short, the reason why I feel Trini would’ve made a great leader… is because of how human she is compared to any character since the beginning of the franchise. She didn’t get much development, but Boom Studios really showcased how they could make her character shine , not only giving her new powers; but also making her a Red Ranger AND leader of her own team.
Tragically, the death of her actress, Thuy Trang, has made it impossible for the character to ever return. And since PR wasn’t union until the 2000s, Trang was unable to come back for Turbo. Any and all reunions were out of the question…
Though it saddens me Trini can never fully come back in love action; I can at least be comforted by the memory of who she was and what she meant to all children, particularly girls, in the 90s who needed a strong female role model.
We miss you, Thuy Trang; you’ll always be in our hearts.

Boxing Day 2024
Posted 10 months agoThis is two days too late, I understand.
Reason why I held off for so long is because exactly eight years from the 26th... my paternal grandfather, my dad's dad... passed away in his sleep after a leg amputation. And it was two years after my Nans, my paternal grandmother, my dad's mom. I used to dwell on it for a long time... but I know I need to live my life. Wallowing would be too selfish.
I'm not Canadian or Australian myself, but I at least hope those who are had a Happy Boxing Day.

But I wonder, which Corduroy do you guys like the most and why?

Home Sweet Home
Posted a year agoAfter a few days of recovering from jet lag, I am proud to say I'm back home in the good, ol' US of A!
Japan was awesome!
My mom and I stayed at three hotels; the first one was the Hotel Gracery in Shinjuku. Not only did it have a large Godzilla head on it looking over the building, but it also had a cinema on the third floor. It was also owned by Toho! How crazy is that?! Forgot what the other two hotels were called, but they were just as cozy.
In Tokyo, we took a few tours to a shrine and temple and we also went to Tokyo DisneySea; it's kinda like California's Great Adventure since it's a different park than the main one, but we still went on some good rides.
In Kyoto, we went on a tour to Mount Fuji, I even had grape flavor ice cream. Sure, there was another shrine... and it is NOT for anyone who's out of shape since it's a climb on foot.
In Osaka, we went to Dotonbori and had a good dinner.
We got a lot of souvenirs.... most of which are Japanese Kit Kats to hand out, but I digress. We still got a lot of keychains though.
Never thought I'd enjoy convenience store food till we stopped by the 7-11s there; plus Family Mart and Lawson had no shortage of good eats, but it's the 7-11 smoothies my mom really enjoyed.
My one hang up though... was that it was so, damn hot! Sure, September is hot for a lot of countries, but it was said that's the hottest it got there ever! That, and it was humid! Added with my jet lag, it felt UNBEARABLE. Added to the fact the timezone was 16 hours ahead of Pacific Coast time here in California, it took us four days NOT to get up at 3 or 4 in the morning.
Other than that, it was a breeze and we had the time of our lives... and I'm not taking Patrick Swayze. Ey!

Travelling to Japan, Gone All Day
Posted a year agoOkay, wow, I'm freaking out as I type this... you see, tomorrow, September 10th; I'll be getting on a flight to Japan. Me and my mom are going to be there for 11 days.
We're going to Kyoto, Tokyo, and Osaka; we'll be visiting Shibuya Crossing, a tech museum, animal cafes, and even go to DisneySea!
I'm super excited and really looking forward to this trip... but it's the biggest trip I've ever been on and it's a completely different culture. I'm REALLY nervous and even one word or action could have its consequences
I'm likely overthinking it, but I can't help it.
Flight leaves at 11:45 Pacific time; good news is that Google, YouTube, Discord, and streaming works over there (though the last part will likely only allow certain content for there only).
Won't be on for long tomorrow; wish me luck.
