Next up on the chopping block is our very own cook, who is the eldest of the sisters; Monica.

Monica is a passionate chef who’s skills in Cajun cuisine is second to none; you think it, she can make it even better than you can imagine. Forget going to a restaurant for New Year’s Eve, she’s got you covered.

How would it go down for your OCs; as with her mama, sfw and nsfw are fair game.

As we near the end of 2023, the Corduroy gals gather up friends from far and near to celebrate the New Year; each having a tradition of their own. Starting the list, we begin with the MILFy nurse matriarch of the family herself: Eloise.

Eloise, ever so kind and nurturing, welcomes any potential companion to join her in a night of merriment.

But what would your OC (man, woman, or anything in between) do to celebrate the occasion?

SFW and NSFW are allowed, so long as you show her her proper respect.

Though I know very little of the celebration, I still wish a Happy Kwanza to those who celebrate it.

Though today marks another tragedy in my life, my grandpa on my dad’s side passes away five years today; I still wish our friends up North a Happy Boxing Day.

Once all the presents were opened, the Corduroy Clan put their new gifts away and had fun in the snow; mostly Chevelle and Chrisann who had a snowball fight. Hours later, the family gathered round the table for Christmas dinner, which Monica helped with. After eating, the family parked themselves in front of the TV to watch some Rankin-Bass specials.

As they watched, Eloise held her youngest child, Oria who was no more than just an infant. Though fussy at times, Oria always seemed happy when her parents and sisters were around. Eloise smiled and cooed at her baby daughter, Samson slinging an atm as he pulled the two close. Oria giggled as her father affectionately nuzzled her nose with his.

Though not as much as her sisters, little Oria showed much intelligence in her eyes, signifying she was destined to do great things, much like her siblings. For now, Eloise was just happy to be with her husband and children.

Though this dynamic would not last as long as they hoped… what could be said is that the Corduroys were always happy when they were together; especially in Christmas.

As her triplets broke away from their father, Eloise, and Samson approached a brunette-haired cub, their second-youngest, who was finishing opening her gift; it was a starter chemistry kit. Now, to be honest, despite her age, Brigitte showed a vast amount of intelligence. So much so that she spoke in ways that children her age and even adults had trouble making out what she would say. But she was never condescending in her wording.

Brigitte: Mother, father, I appreciate the item you have purchased and bestowed onto me on this day of celebration. I thank you for the gift, I am positive will be as mentally stimulating as I work with it.

Both adults merely stared at their daughter.

Eloise:... Uh..?

Samson:... I hope that means you like it?

The intelligent cub smiled as she hugged her parents.

Brigitte: I do.

To all my friends and then some, Merry Christmas!

Eloise smiled as her young opened their gifts, he husband tending to their youngest at the moment. Looking over to her triplets, she saw Chevelle, the middle of the three, sneaking up on her two sisters; smiling mischievously as she blew up a balloon. But just as she was about to pop it... she caught sight of her mother giving her a hard stare. The middle triplet gave a sheepish smile as she deflated the balloon and sat down. The eldest triplet, Charo spotted three distinct packages and pulled them from under the tree. She gave one to Chevelle and one to Chrisann, the youngest triplet.

Now looking at these cubs, one might have never thought they were triplets, but a twin or anything like that didn't mean they had to be identical. As they opened their gifts, each saw that each had something that involved entertainment: Charo got a CD of classic Smokey Robinson hits (even for a girl her age, she enjoyed old-fashioned music), Chevelle got a DVD of Rocky 4, and Chrisann

Charo: Oh, thank you, Mama!

Chrisann: We love them!

The oldest and youngest triplets ran to their mother and hugged her tightly, which Eloise returned happily. When she realized one was missing, she looked up and saw the middle triplet still sitting on the floor; a look of dismissal on her muzzle. Even though she was still a cub, Chevelle always seemed tougher than any child her age. But Eloise knew her better.

Eloise: Chevelle.

Though she tried to remain firm, Chevelle couldn't help but smile as she too joined in on the group hug.

Chevelle: Thank you, Mama.

Samson: Hey, where's Papa's hug?

Eloise and Samson sat together on the couch as their daughters were on the floor opening their gifts, when their eldest came into the den. Monica carried a tray of cookies and served one to her family.

Monica: Made gingerbread men, mam, papa! Hope you like them.

Both adult hyenas graciously took a gingerbread man each, then took a bite… but then frowned. This made the hyena cub worried. Did they not like the cookies? She was sure that she used the right ingredients, fresh ones at that.

Samson: Hon, these cookies are no good…

Eloise:… They’re great, baby!

Monica smiled tearfully and hugged her mother and father, who returned their eldest’s gesture of affection. The mother hyena then stood up, walked towards the tree and picked up a present with blue and white wrapping. She turned to her else’s and gave it to her; the cub eagerly tearing it open. Once she opened the box , she gasped. There was a cookbook that focused mainly on Cajun food, written by a celebrity chef.

Monica: Oh, mama, I love it!

Eloise: I knew you would, Monica.

Eloise once again took her daughter into her arms and kissed her on the crown of her head.

To clarify, the hacker posed as a guy from a server I was on and made a statement to the guy from the Discord team; Chao Chen.

I was to make a statement myself, but when he asked for a pdf with records of my purchases, I got suspicious.

When I was told the guy who warned me about fraud was a hacker; I blocked him AND Chao Chen.

Problem was, Chao Chen was able to change the email for my account... was he really part of the Discord team?

If so... the fate of my account is prolly sealed.

It's happened...

I was nearly tricked by hackers, or one hacker and one legit admin from Discord.... and now... I may have lost my account.

I blocked the hacker and "admin", but not before I had my email changed for the account.

I blocked and removed both, but in doing so... I may have ended my account. Permanently.

Tried making new accounts, all efforts in vain.

I'm no longer on Discord...

Celebrate, eat, drink and be merry brothers and sisters of the night. For this day marks another night that celebrates an icon just as famous as St. Nicholas.

December has arrived, winter is in full swing; the time to bundle up, snuggle in front of the fireplace, enjoy hot food with a cup of hot cocoa, warm cider, or even eggnog (with or without alcohol). Your OC, be they man, woman, anything in between or non, is spending time with the Corduroy ladies. Each are unique with her own dynamic for the holidays, which means there are about seven ways to enjoy the season:

Eloise: Former exotic dancer turned nurse (who moonlights on occasion), Eloise is a kind, nurturing and loving woman as well as a caring maternal figure to cuddle with.

Monica: The eldest of her sisters and passionate chef who specializes in Cajun and Creole cuisine, Monica will alwaysyou’ll never starve with her around.

Charo: The second daughter and eldest of the “Three Cs” triplets, Charo’s not only a gifted singer, but knows some of the best joints to celebrate the holidays; word of caution: she’s a skilled markswoman.

Chevelle: The third sister and middle of the “Three Cs” triplets, Chevelle is a tough MMA gal who’s always looking for a good tussle, with a soft center; it doesn’t mean she doesn’t like to be naughty for the occasion.

Chrisann: The fourth of her sisters and the youngest of the “Three Cs” triplets, Chrisann’s profession as a DJ ensures that the holidays will never have a dull moment.

Brigitte: The fifth child and genius of the family, Brigitte none the less enjoys company during the season with a cup of cocoa, cider, and eggnog.

Oria: The baby sister of her siblings, Oria is quite sociable and likes to spend time with good company.

This company wasn't perfect, many of the staff aren't clean, and they even ruined the life of one person who I won't divulge, but I stand by him all the way.

But at the same time... they brought many anime to America; a lot of which are the best ever.

The new Goosebumps series is now on Disney Plus and I gotta say... it's pretty good!

It's only six episodes as of last Friday, but each ep brings an interesting take on a classic Goosebumps story, though only five have been named by now, there's much more to each one than you might think, and here's a recap of each...

CAUTION: Spoilers Ahead...

The overarching story involves five teens from a small town in the modern-day where a local teenager named Harold Biddle died in a "mysterious" fire in 1993 (my birth year!). Each teen has their own story: Isaiah the football quarterback, James the rich boy, Margot the unpopular daughter of the high school guidance counselor, the shy girl Isabella and Lucas the local daredevil. Joining the cast is Mr. Bratt the new English teacher who moved to town, specifically, the house where Harold died. After having a costume party at the Biddle house, each of the teens finds cursed items: a Polaroid camera, a blank mask, an old cuckoo clock, and some worms from outside. Mr Bratt himself becomes possessed by the ghost of Harold himself.

After the party, each teen goes through supernatural events...

Say Cheese And Die: The first story involves Isaiah and the Polaroid he found, which shows terrible events that happen in the future; and the worst part... only he is able to see the photos before they happen. When a photo is taken of him with an injury, Isaiah tries to destroy the camera, only to be confronted by the charred ghost of Harold during a game that would have earned Isaiah a scholarship, only to get the injury the camera foretold. Though, he may not have been the only one to see the spirit...

The Haunted Mask: The second story involves shy girl Isabela finding the blank mask after crashing the costume party at the Biddle house. At first, wearing the mask gives Isabela a confidence boost, but after getting into trouble involving a drone owned her by father, she's harshly grounded. Soon, the mask starts to influence her as it's revealed Isabela had been trolling Isiah's then-girlfriend. After putting the mask on again, it turns Isabella into a feral monster that attacks the person responsible for the damaged drone; Lucas. After attacking him, however, Lucas is saved by Isaiah and Margot, forcing Isabela to flee. Returning home, Isabela trashes her house and then attacks her brother, who's able to reach out to her and give her the strength to resist the mask and take it off. Though the siblings try getting rid of the mask, the possessed Mr. Bratt, who also took the Polaroid back, retrieves it.

Cuckoo Clock of Doom: (despite the name, it also takes inspiration from Let's Get Invisible and I Am Your Evil Twin) During the costume party, James, who feels insecure due to being own of very few who are out as gay, tries to strike up a connection with a classmate he has a crush on. What he finds out later is that when he crashed into a cuckoo clock earlier, it trapped him in a time loop. After a few tries, he's able to free himself and is able to woo the classmate in the process. When he gets home, however... he's confronted by clones of himself that were created each time he tried escaping the time loop. They trap him in an abandoned mine owned by his family, impersonate him, and ruin the relationships he's made. His friends are able to find out and rescue him... but not before it's revealed the clones were helping Biddle look for something...

Go Eat Worms: The fourth story involves Lucas who, after talking with Margot, eats a worm he found at the Biddle house. That night, while he sleeps, worms crawl into his body. The next day, he eats garbage rather than human food and becomes even more daring as he doesn't feel pain when he receives injuries. The stunts he pulls get the attention of his mother and Margot as they stop him from doing a stunt his late father once did, who is implied to have committed suicide while trying to perform the stunt. Once he throws up the works, they become a giant worm monster and chase him to the town's harbor where it's killed by a wood chipper.

Reader Beware: The Fifth story involves Margot receiving a journal owned by Harold by the possessed Mr. Bratt and experiencing visions of Harold and her mother in 1993. Eventually, the rest of the teens end up in the vision and the Biddle house where they find out their parents were involved in Harold's death... but there's more to it than that...

Night of the Living Dummy: And we reach all the events leading up to the situation at hand as the possessed Mr. Bratt reveals what led up to Harold Biddle's death and all the occurrences they've all experienced. In the 1930s, a failing ventriloquist buys a particular dummy, named "Slappy"; and finds a card in its pocket, which he reads aloud. During a performance, Slappy reveals he's alive and helps the ventriloquist become a success, but at the cost of distancing him from family and friends. He even teaches him a spell that turns people into dummies. Over time, the ventriloquist finds out Slappy's plans and refuses to go with it. Sealing Slappy away in a trunk, the ventriloquist moves to the town where the show takes place. Eventually, he passes away and the house goes to his closest living relatives... which turns out to be Harold's family. Over time, Harold falls victim to Slappy's manipulations which alienates him from everyone as well; Harold even turns his parents into dummies as well. Wanting to free him, the teens' parents try to take Slappy away, only to result in Harold's death. The group tears Slappy apart and hides his pieces in secret. When the story ends, Harold again reveals himself to the teens.

As a guy who grew up with the 90s series; I've enjoyed this story a lot. And what's better, Slappy (who has an English accent) manipulates his owners rather than turn everyone against them! I hope to see more Goosebumps stories fit in down the line as well as a new season. have you seen the new show? How do you feel about it?
