Just wanted to leave a little note here that I've been slow with commissions because I quite literally woke up sick the other day. My throat is killing me, and I keep getting random dizzy spells and chills which makes it hard for me to do much of anything that requires concentration. It's getting a little better every day, I think the worst of it was yesterday, now I just have a horribly hoarse (heh!) throat and chills. Once I stop getting the dizzy spells I really should be fine, arghhhh :|

Hey everyone!

I've been pretty busy lately. We're really short staffed at work lately, so I'm working double what I usually work. Another thing is that I still don't have my laptop, and don't know when I'll have it back, I'm sending it out tomorrow. The family PC I've been using doesn't have Photoshop, or any image editing program (minus GIMP, that I had to download, and kind of hate.) Not to mention the scanner rapes and murders everything.

I am working on all of my post-AC commissions. I have two fully colored things to finish, (they're both inked, just waiting on refs for color) a collab I need to color, and two silly badges I need to finish. Silly badges are simple, but very time consuming to do, and I can't bring all the materials I need to do them to work.

I actually kind of really want to do some art trades with people. They'll probably be done in watercolors and/or markers, like my more recent pieces. I'm really digging working with markers lately. Just note me if you're interested :3 Or badge trades! Badges are actually my favorite things to give and receive.

(No, seriously, the only days I get off of work are hockey games as of late, and even that's a fight a lot of the time.)

I'm going to be UStreaming me working on some art, :3 Sketching, inking, coloring, not sure what's going down yet.

I'm graduating from college on August 20th, and until then I'm just going to keep busy with my work at the museum. Yes, I have an extern ship with the Natural History Museum in Pittsburgh...I LOVE it. I draw dinosaurs and horses all day. I get to hang out with dinosaurs, tell people about dinos, it's awesome. So anyway, that takes up most of my time right now. Once I graduate, however, I don't know what I'll be doing, so I am going to open up for commissions to the public sometime within the next 2 weeks. We'll see.

Oh yeah, AC was pretty good. I had an AWESOME birthday party though, thank you so much to everyone who came! I LOVE YOU ALL. That was really probably the highlight of my con, minus a few things I won't mention. Whatever, it's over.

I'm going to start trying to do some more digital art, because I feel like that's something I should learn how to do.

I'm probably going to AnthroCon. I am really uncomfortable doing so. But I want to see my friends. The last year of my life has been reflecting how horrible last year was and I really, really don't want to do it again.

I'm leaving for Europe (London and Paris) on May 29th. I return the week before AnthroCon. I'm going with my school, we have a tour thingy at the beginning, then we can do what we want at night, and there are some art happenings as well.

I'm still working on my trades and commissions. School has been kicking my ass lately. I have my mock interview tomorrow, for which I need to get my portfolio ready for...so that's why I've been away from furry art for a bit. That'll all be done and over with next week though.
