I'm wondering if anyone knows of someone who makes digi stilts? I'm making a werewolf cosplay for myself and I am wanting to use stilts, not just padding because well...I'm short! I'm hoping to gain some height so I can look actually intimidating, not like the world's tiniest werewolf ;P I've only found two online, one for nearly $1,000 and the other around $200. I'm considering the one for $200 but the only thing I don't love about them is they only give a few inches of height, where I'd ideally like a little more.

I was wondering...do you think it would be feasible to just add the digi illusion using foam to drywall stilts? They are easier to come by and cheaper that actual digi-stilts. I don't really want to make them myself because I'm not super talented with tools and that's taking a risk with my ankles or falling.

Does anyone know of other ideas?

So yes...Anthrocon is over and it's time to get back to work. I had an amazing time. I'm used to having lots of downtime at cons, sitting in the zoo, drawing..this one I was on the go 7 am to 11 pm each day! And I loved it. Still, wish I would have had time to get to more panels, however, my panel I think was a big success. Manning the Wolf movie table and meeting new and old fans is always great.

Next year I do plan to have a table for selling. I love furcons!

The one bad thing was that while I avoided typical con crud, as I left I got some sort of ear ache/blockage. It's still not gone, so I can't hear out of one ear...it's really annoying. Hoping I won't have to see a doctor...I hate going to the doctor. Meh.

It's now time to get back to work! I have a husky partial that needs to be finished, then a couple of premades to work on, including a DAD foam base. I was going to hit the store today to pick up foam but it's storming like mad outside...we'll see if it eases up later.

I really miss my basement!

So, had a flooded basement this morning. The basement is my work studio. After my initial freak out, luckily I don't think any damage was done to anything commissioned. My personal suits were drenched so right now my stress is over them and the plushies I had made to go on sale at AC. But the real problem is I have no idea how long it will take until I can work down there again. I'll still do what I can but I'm sure work will be slower until the basement is dry and fixed.

I can not overstate my stress level at the moment, so if I don't reply to notes/emails right away, just give me a few days please to decompress.

While I haven't run into the adult ads yet, I can't risk doing so when I have my kids around, and I wouldn't want to direct someone to my gallery if there is any chance they could get hit by one. Hey..I'm looking for some help, please. My original plan to get to Anthrocon was to drive, where space wouldn't be an issue, however due to money constraints I'm now taking the bus/train and I haven't found any feasible way to get everything I wanted to take to the con. :( I can ship to the con directly, but it's an expensive option. (Shipping+a storage fee) I'd also have to get to the fedex office early monday morning before the train and I'm not sure that' even possible. I was wondering if anyone I know is traveling via car who might be able to bring some items for me? It would be 2 fursuits and some plushies for the art show. I might be able to fit one suit with me. I can send them to you in a spacebag, so they'll take up much less space. I would pay to have the items shipped to you before the con and for you to ship them back after it's all over.

I'm totally stressing over this, so if anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it and make you a badge as a thank you!

I have a room at the Westin, from Thurs-Mon and I'm looking for one person to share with, to split the cost. It is listed as a king room, but I will try and get you a bed. I actually don't mind sharing the bed (It's a King after all!) if you're comfortable with that. (nothing creepy!) I am a suiter and another suiter would be just fine. I am neat, clean and respectful and would expect the same from my roomie. I am 38, but I'm very nice and laid back. I'm happy to hang out with you during the con as well! I don't smoke and won't drink in the room. I like the room to be a quiet, restful spot for relaxing, chilling with people, ect. No smokers, no drugs, no partiers, no drama! If you have friends over, just send me a text or otherwise let me know and please be responsible for them as well. (Just let me know so I won't be there to nap or be showering/changing, ect) I will do the same for you.

Well, in the past 4 years, getting a room at the Westin has turned into a feeding frenzy! lol. Well that was a stressful 10 minutes while I waited in the que, but room at the Westin acquired! I am so very excited!

Whoo! Looks like I will be going to Anthrocon this year. I haven't been to AC in gosh, must be about 5 years or so...feels like forever. For me, AC is home. I used to go every year and always had such a great time. I'm very excited to be back. I will be going this year as an attendee only, not a dealer.

Silver Sky Studio WILL have a table, but only as a fan table to promote WOLF (wolfmovie.com). I may put some items up in the art show if I get space. Janus and Luna fursuits will be promoting there as well, making a debut!

So I'm thinking about having a ref sheet for a new character idea done, but, after going through my watch list, everyone who I'd like for the task is closed. :( Can anyone suggest some good, toony-style artists who do ref sheets and are open? Thanks so much for the help!

I've decided to separate my fursuit stuff from my art into two accounts. I'll be keeping this one for ART. And using  silverskystudio for FURSUITS. I'll be working on moving everything over in the next couple of days. This means I'll be doing a lot or re-watching too (So I can watch artists on here, and suit makers on the others)

I want to improve my art, I really do. So as of right now, I'm closing art commissions indefinitely. But I still want to draw! What I'd ask is, instead of money, I'd like honest critique. I'll take requests and if I draw for you, I'd love some feedback on it. What you like, what you didn't like, anything that looks off...redlines would be awesome if you're good with that. I'm looking for more than just appreciation (Although that's very nice), but the idea here is to help me improve! You don't have to be an artist yourself to offer critique, but if any other artists would be willing to give their time for some crit or a redline, I'd /love/ that.

So basically, you can post a reference and what you'd like. Scenarios/poses/personalities really help me! I'll get through these when I have time and when I feel most inspired to do them. It's not first come, first serve...I may jump around as inspiration hits. You can request what you'd like as far as format too...sketch, color, a badge, an icon, a chibi. Oh, and humans are welcome too!! If there's something requested that I don't think I can do, I'll let you know. The one 'rule' I have is that you just be considerate. (Don't post 5 different characters, or a huge scene or get mad if I jump over your request to do another first, that sort of thing)
