So, as some of you know I'm beginning with my preparations to move back to Montana, which basically means I need a job and a place to live. The job will be an interesting search but the housing is what worries me a little.

So the housing prices in Bozeman a little higher than when I lived there (and when I subsequently left last year) so it looks like I'll be paying a little extra for rent each month. I would still like to be back in Bozeman by the end of the year (which depends largely on how quickly I can get a job), but I need to start saving for my place.

I've decided to open up a moving fund. From here on all money I make from commissions will go towards my savings for my deposit and first months rent on my place out in Montana. I currently have three days off a week that I can use to work on commissions and I'm going to try my best to improve my turn over time to what it used to be. My one outstanding commission will be completed ASAP!

So I have returned in one piece from Furnal Equinox. Even though I didn't suit as much as I would have liked I still enjoyed the con and the time I got to spend with and ~ I miss you guys already :'( I also enjoyed meeting some new peeps and seeing familiar faces! And I finally made it into my first dance competition! It was an experience and one I definitely hope to improve upon and do again in the future! I'm determined to do better next time!! In all I had an awesome birthday con and I can't wait for next year!

So Katsucon was super duper fun! Smitty and Ivy were insanely popular with their amazing Night at the Museum cosplays and hopefully they'll share some pics~ I ran into a lot of other fuzzies which was a big surprise to me but it was cool to know there are definitely active furs sort of close buy since my local group died off a few years ago.

So, who out there wants to help me with my graduate school application?? :D Yes, that is a serious question! Here's the break down:

I'm applying to creative writing programs, and of course, you need writing samples as part of your application. That's where you guys come in! What I need from you is simple: Prompts!! They can be as simple as one word or a whole idea! However, there are some guidelines.

-Please make them a little broad if you're giving an idea. I only feel comfortable using my own characters for these. You can make them specific to a character if you happen to know my characters, but I can't add your characters into these. Sorry! :(

-Please no obvious ridiculous fetish themes. I don't mind writing sex scenes but these are for school applications so I obviously want to keep things tasteful.

So MFF has come to an end :( Just to begin I'd like to let everyone know that I'm okay since a lot of ya are starting to hear about the incident that happened. I wasn't staying at the hotel this go around, I was staying with my brother so I wasn't at the hotel when stuff went down, so no need to worry about me guys!

Before I begin I'll explain what happened to the best of my knowledge so people won't need to ask in comments. This is what I've heard from the news and from people who were at the hotel and/or eyewitnesses. Basically it seems that someone was attempting to mix chemicals in the 10th floor stairwell and screwed up (the popular theory is that the person was trying to manufacture meth though that's only the popular word so I can't confirm or deny). The hotel was evacuated to the convention center across the street and people were stuck out of the hotel for a good three hours or so. Some people, unfortunately, had to go to the hospital but I've heard from some people at least that they've been released and are fine though no word on the whole of the people sent. But to my knowledge that is what happened.

Okay, so on the actual experience! For not having a con crew really I had a really fun time :D A huge shout out to and for letting me store my stuff in their room on Friday. You two were a huge help to me and I truly appreciate it! <3 I also got to see some other awesome people and meet some great artists in person! It was truly a pleasure seeing and in person and getting some art as well! Jacuzzi got lots of new art this weekend to where I believe he has more swag than Gin now XD And as always it was fantastic to see , and ~ Love you guys! <3

I grabbed one of the MFL crew's mistletoe on a stick and now PajamaFox has a kiss record. In fact PJFox has been kissed more times than me XDDDD Maybe I need to use some mistletoe? -laughs- He's also got a big jingly collar now which is too cute for words <3 I can't count how many compliments the little PJFox got over the weekend~ All I can say is that he has a talent for melting hearts, hehe! I'm just so glad that people enjoy PajamaFox and think I perform well in him. I can't begin to explain how happy that makes me! Having my dream suit and making him come alive makes my heart burst ;w;

I was also able to have a super nice dinner with my brother and it was so nice to catch up with him. I'm glad we got to hang out for a bit while I was here between me being at the con and him being at work. We don't get to see each other nearly enough :(

So yes, all around this was a fantastically fun trip. I loved MFF and will definitely be doing my best to return next year! In fact, I'd like to make this one of my yearly cons if I'm able (like I have any consistent yearly cons right now XD)! We'll see where life has me next year since I hope to move back to Montana by this time next year. But thanks to all who made this a wonderful con! Very introverted and very shy. That doesn't mean that I'll just automatically shut you down, however. It just takes a little bit for me to come out of my shell is all. I really am friendly, I promise!

Fursuit until I can't breathe and see some people I haven't gotten to see in quite awhile! I'm really excited to catch up with old friends :)

So I know that, comparatively, I'm a fairly slow artist. I know back in the day I used to be a lot faster but I've slowed over time as my art has been more detailed and larger in general (badges used to be tiny! XD). I decided my commissioners know the reason for the slow down. I'm not trying to make excuses, elicit any pity or make myself sound like an awesome special snowflake who everyone should pay attention to, I just feel it's right to let everyone know.

As some of you know I suffer from Asperger's Syndrome and some of its associated disorders. I also suffer from depression, generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar type 2, seasonal affective disorder, and general paranoia. As you can imagine I take a variety of different medications to help deal with these problems. Any of these factors alone could factor into the ultimate problem, but unfortunately it's looking like it may be something in and of itself.

The ultimate reason for my slowness is this: chronic fatigue. Regardless of life style (active or sedentary) it's generally hard for me to stay awake. Even at conventions, if I'm not with Euro and Ivy I can disappear for nearly 12 or more hours at a time during which time I just sleep (which happened at BLFC earlier in the year). Sleep, no matter how much I get, is generally non-refreshing for me. I rarely wake up ready to go whether I had a restful night's sleep or not. I sometimes experience moments when I become so focused on something I forego sleep all together which just adds more to the fatigue later. Every free moment I have I'm generally asleep or trying not to fall asleep. Recently, even with friends, the only reason I can stave off the fatigue is that they keep me moving to keep me awake.

I recently spoke to my doctor about the problem. I'd never really mentioned before because it's something I've been so used to it just feels like a part of daily life. We decided to send to add in a medication to see if it would help me rest more. I'm also trying hard to stay awake during the day but it's pretty difficult for me. We also decided to set up an appointment for me at the sleep disorder clinic as a sort of last resort. Seeing as how, even though I'm resting more at night, I'm still experiencing the excessive daytime sleepiness I'll likely keep the appointment, which we felt may be beneficial anyhow as I've had some episodes of sleep paralysis.

So the bottom line is that I just have a hard time staying awake. I completely understand that this may just sound like general laziness (I've been accused of this a lot) and I won't think ill of you if you feel that's what it is. I'm hoping going to the sleep disorder clinic will shed some light on things and hopefully help me manage these symptoms better. In the end I truly do want to thank all of my commissioners for how patient they always are with me. Trust me when I say it means a lot!

Alright, so while I'm continuing to search for a job I need a way of making some extra money to help pay the bills I still have and to have some money set aside.

I'm going to be operating in a new way as well so I can get things done in the most timely manner and hopefully keep from burn out. I'm going to take 5 commissions per week and each week day is going to be allocated to a specific commission. I'm going to be giving myself weekends off for the time being.
