3 years on
Posted a year agoWell fuck me, has it been 3 years already?
Moved house. Getting married soon. Funnily enough to a lady I met on DA.
Honestly there's not a lot new. Been full time at my job for near 4 years now. Working there for nearly 5. Drawing. Writing. Heck.

Update
Posted 4 years agoHey all. Been a fucked year so far. Split with the missus (she was psychotic), found someone else, trouble there too... At least I went full-time and at the very least secured my financial future.
There's a hell of a lot of artwork in folders to upload. I'm going to start a couple a day like I did last time around. A lot of it is my own. Awful lot of character development revealing.
Anyway. Hope you guys are well. I'm not super active here at all these days, but you can still find me over at my Discord.

Updates
Posted 4 years agoYo, all! It's been a long time.
My work went crazy.
COVID became a thing.
I moved house.
I've hardly drawn anything or written anything. But I got a lot of gift art and commission work. Today I uploaded some scheduled posts on Patreon to make up for the last 14 months. I'll try and roster my free time better. Unfortunately I get home at 7pm on average and am in bed around midnight for a 6.30am wakeup. I may try to schedule a drawing each week as well as some writing. I can't believe how much time has passed since my last journal. Remember when I'd post daily? Hope you guys are well.

Back at Work, Staved for Time
Posted 6 years agoHeyo! It's been a while, ain't it?
I started a new job last week that has seen me driving across town twice a day... For 8 hours work at least 3 days a week, $30 an hour. It's a drain on fuel and my free time, but my first payslip is going to be mint. I also am working this weekend (have to head out in an hour or so again) and it's looking like I'm going to be fairly absent for a while, maybe indefinitely. I haven't drawn in ages, since our last D&D game, and as I try to get into a work/housework routine, I'm not likely to be getting done, or writing, anytime soon. However, the money side of things is finally looking decent again, even with looking after my partner now she's going to be losing her job; I employed her nearly two years ago for the cleaning business I started, but our hours were never grand.

New on Patreon!
Posted 6 years agoSomething new on Patreon! Sorry it's been so long coming, the last few months have been absolute hell. 2019 for worst year so far! Things seem like they might be changing soon, and for once I'm actually in front of the computer on a Saturday afternoon rather than running around doing something I didn't have time to during the week (though anyone with microphones planted in my house will hear the washing machine and drier running).
So, I was three months behind on updates, so I've given followers three new posts to read: Chapters 1 and 2 of the alternate Battle for Dyndengar opening, and Chapter 1 of an ancient work of mine known as The Silent Fire. The latter, like with all first chapters, is available to all followers, while the other two are reserved for supporters.

Posted 6 years agoHeadlights Out!
Posted 6 years agoSo a few weeks ago I was having dinner with family and as I went to leave, discovered I had no working headlights. On Thursday, I paid to have that rectified, only to find out now the lights won't turn off.
SO!
I'm feeling generous, Chapter 6 of Speedy Delivery is now available for $5 tier Patrons. I was only going to post five online, but I figure since you guys are already supporting me, why the hell not?

Something New
Posted 6 years agoHey guys. Sorry for the downtime over the last month. My Nana passed away nearly two weeks ago, and I'd thrown myself into work and Skyrim to avoid dealing with things.
I haven't worked on much, so I've got a little treat for you all this time around: it's chapter 1 of an unedited, unfinished work from 2012. Head on over to patreon.com/wanderingfeline to check it out.

My Nana
Posted 6 years agoI'm going to be offline for a while. I got a call this morning before work from my mum. My Nana went into hospital early in the morning with breathing problems and passed away around 6.
She was a chain-smoker, and when I woke around 8.30, I could smell a pungent smoke in the air. Probably the local fires and nothing more.
I'm going to be on hiatus until further notice.

This Weekend on Patreon
Posted 7 years agoOn Friday night (AEST), I'll be uploading the first chapter of Speedy Delivery for your reading pleasure. If you like the sound of that, more will be available to patrons.
Speedy Delivery is a tale of 19-year-old Zoey Fiyah and her workmates at Piggee's Pizza. She gets into all kinds of trouble with here 1983 Corolla (an AE86 to be exact), and finds herself in the sights of a heavily-obsessed anime fan who tails her with his Skyline. Unfortunately for her, her Corolla is nothing like the one from the cult anime, and her stalker fails to comprehend that...
