August Update
Posted 10 years agoSo.. the wedding is FAST APPROACHING! o.o
Woah.. Where did the time go?!
And as to make matters better?
Yesterday was my 26th birthday. Wow.. Time is FLYING... o.o
I don't feel fulfilled yet. I don't feel like I have everything in order... I don't have everything I want ordered/made... I feel behind... I still need to go get the marriage license...
And? I start driving school today. About that? I HATE driving... Especially here in Maryland. The traffic is awful and the people here think they own the roads... It makes me nervous to drive... But.. I need to drive... *sigh* I am getting too old to be having people take me places... as much as I hate admitting that. v.v So driving school is up until September 7th? And in that time.. I have to put in for my driving test... because my learners expires in september... @.@ Too much crap to do...
Also in september? get the stupid license... Yay more money going to Maryland for whatever they need it for.... I love being a teacher.. but come on! We need money just like the rest of you people! We shouldn't be so low on the pay scale.. I mean.. New York makes more than I do as a minimum wage now! >.<
So yup. That is my update for the month! Sorry I have been quiet.. @.@April Update~

This little snow mew has been ultra super busy! Wedding plans for a wedding that is in October! (Halloween wedding) Got a promotion at work! (Now an Assistant Lead Teacher of a ages 4/5 class) As well as been trying to keep myself calm and happy!
What is to come for me on this site?
Well... I do plan on drawing more come Summer time. It won't be an every week kind of thing unless I manage to have that much extra time throughout the summer! But I do plan on drawing more.
Also, I will be coming down to the wire with my wedding.. I may be a bit more coo-coo than I am now! XD I may not be on here as much... I can't really say.
I do know that I wish to do some more Cosplaying... So when it starts getting warmer, I may be asking my fiance to help talk more pictures of me in my various outfits. Going off of this, I did purchase myself a, wait for it... Keyhole boobie sweater that I plan on wearing for my Rarity cosplay. :) All I really need to focus on for her is her skirt and getting a pair of low purple heels that matches my wig and the skirt. I plan on doing a lot more cosplaying pictures~ ^^
I have been doodling here and there, but nothing, to me, worth putting up on here. @.@ So yeah. Eventually I will get to posting art back up. But for the time being, I am very busy and preoccupied with my Wedding plans. So please, my dear friends, don't think I am disowning you or refusing to speak to you. I love you all and thank you for being patient with me. :) I am a very busy Future Bride-To-Be! ^^

I am so excited because, as I said.. it's my first appointment.. so I am hoping to find the perfect one the first time around!
But we'll have to wait and see! I only get an hour and a half worth of time... so I am hoping that will be all the time I need.

Posted 11 years agoI really can't believe how FAST time has flown by!
Since April of this year, I have been patiently losing weight. I have restricted myself on a lot of food, cutting back on others little, if anything, all together! I have been kicking butt with the Metabolism Miracle diet.. and I have to say.. It has done me wonders!
Since April Fools Day, I started my journey... One day at a time turned into one week at a time, with then turned into one month at a time. Now I am 6 months in and I am seeing how many lbs and inches I really have shed! o.o I was a big girl, I confess... I still am! But I am a slightly less bigger girl :)
I will also confess my real weight... Why? Because I want to get it out. I am ashamed at how big I was. But now I am working on controlling it. Since April of this year, I have lost a whole 54 lbs. I started out at 280 lbs even. Now I am 226 lbs. My goal is to be the same weight of my character Drizelda, 200 lbs. I know.. still on the big side, but it's a hell of a lot better than 280...
Anyways, yup. I just had to do up this journal. I am really excited at myself and how far I have come. Because of all this, I joined into my works Biggest Loser competition. The first one I won. This second one I am in currently I am in 3rd place. I am helping out another fellow big girl in losing weight, my prodigy, and she is currently in 1st! So.. I know I am not only making MYSELF happier.. but a co-worker of mine now too. :)
Yup.. I just wanted to type this up ^^ Let everyone know of my accomplishments.. and the fact I am currently in the works of making a video to send into the producers of TLC's Curvy Brides. :) They are looking for candidates to be on their show and I said, "Why Not?!". So come tomorrow or Sunday I will be making my cheesy video to send to their production manager, so she can then send it up to her bosses. ^^ So.. maybe this feline will be on TV? ^^
That's all for now... All I can think about writing down here.. but yup. I hope you guys didn't mind reading!

Wedding time!!

So.. I guess it's time to announce on here to all my watchers and friends.
I am finally getting married!
I have been with my mate for the last.. oh heavens.. 12-13 years now... Since we were in grade school practically!
He proposed to me December 23rd, 2010... meaning we will have been engaged for 4 years come this december... @.@
Where has the time gone?! :)
So as for next year, which is when we have the wedding date planned, we will be getting married on October 31st, 2015! I am having a Halloween wedding! ^^
It's a bit overwhelming, the whole marriage/wedding process! o.o I am not going to lie!
But I do also fear that we won't have enough money to make it the wedding I have been dreaming of.... v.v
We both have pretty stable jobs.. but the place we are living now (with his grandfather) doesn't offer us any chance really to save up money. Practically all of his paycheck goes to the Cable bill/or bills he has racked up from credit cards and the like... And most of mine goes to grocery or my own bills... But I put away what I can each month... $25 automatically goes into my savings each month.. and what ever I have left, I'll put a little in. But.. It's not even enough to rent a venue for 4 hours, let alone buy my dress! v.v
I can't offer art to people who help donate... because I will admit.. I am slow to doing art what with practically no free time I have... v.v I still owe two to people that I have owed them for the last... 2 months? But.. if I could have some help? I would be very super grateful and would love to do something in return.. I just.. don't know what I could possibly do as a thanks if my wonderful friends and watchers helped donated to get me the wedding of my dreams. Maybe a picture in the form of a thanks? As in.. A photo of me cosplaying more? In my wigs? In my fursona ears and tail? v.v
My question to you all... What would you like as a Thank You gift.. if you guys donated to me?

Hey guys~ Sorry about not really being as active on here! T.T I feel awful, but you know what? I have been leading a busy life! I have been losing weight, talking to friends I don't really get a chance to do so with as often as I would like, working my butt off at my job I have been at for nearly a year now... It has been busy!
Anyways.. the reason for this journal? I am kinda getting annoyed at how many of my submissions now a days are YCH or character raffles/auctions. Instead of wasting time on trying to sell one piece, wouldn't it be smarter to just do commissions? >.< Not only this... but the fact that these YCH from certain artists go WAY OVER my price limit... How to people have $500+ to spend on ONE freaken image?! I mean.. really? You could be spending that $500 on something for the house, or clothing for yourself, or even food... but instead you spend it on one piece of art you're never going to have a physical copy of? @.@
If I was ever to spend that much money on a piece of art.. I would say I wanted THE physical copy of it... along with somehow knowing that the artist spent real time on it... $500? That's like one 40 hour week for me... So the artist should be spending 20+ hours on my art if I am to pay that much money.
Sorry about this.. but I am just getting sick with all these raffles and YCH...
[bold]MY QUESTION:[/bold] If it bothers me so much, should I just unwatch all the artists whom are well over $100 in commission prices? Because I know I would never actually get a piece from them, even if I do love their art.
I understand that people may just be that good to be $500.. but again.. Comparing money to a paycheck.. the artist BETTER work 20+ hours on my piece before I am happy to know that I paid them well for their work. @.@
URGH.. Just don't read this.. please... I am getting frustrated at the lack of ACTUAL Commissions in my message box... as to all these YCH stuff that goes for well over $100.. Out of my league... @.@

Posted 11 years agoSooo... I go and post on a journal of someone that has 3 spots of art open... I was the first one to respond after their journal had been up for 1 hour with NO responses...
I was the first... yet just because I wasn't on for an hour that the artist responded to me, I lost the spot? HOW IS THIS FAIR? I would have paid.. I would have even maybe tipped the artist just because they were drawing something that I really REALLY enjoy...
Just because I didn't respond to them in AN HOUR they deleted my post and moved along... I would have paid them and given them all the information they needed. They are a REALLY good artist, but if this is the way they do their business? I may not even watch them now... -.- I am sad and beyond upset that just because I wasn't on in their time-frame, I got pushed aside... Very ticked off Drizzy... VERY...

Have to get a check-up AND get my files from a previous doctor... v.v

Then when I have alll that done?
I have to bring my SSN, Learners permit, transcript, ALLLL those damn papers... and copies of all my training certificates done by 2010... OMG... So much stuffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff.....

Posted 12 years agoFor now. I feel better after losing my kitty of almost 13 years v.v I return only before my 25th birthday which is on August 16th. @.@ This friday I won't be around as I'll be heading to VA to SPA WORLD USA! ^^ I LOVE that place!
