I'm making a small change to my posting routine: I'll be pausing WIP updates on most of my galleries due to a very poor home connection. I rely on mobile data and since the fuel shortages started it has become intermitent and so slow I struggle even with 200kbs files. Since now I require a trip to public Wi-Fi just to upload anything, I'll be reserving those trips for finished pieces only. The new tablet is twice as big and sensitive (and expensive ) than the old one. Still getting the hang of it but I feel confident enough to start doing simple comms soon. In other news don't know if I will finish the weretober challenge anymore. Too much shit happened and I lost momentum. Probably will just do the pieces of the ppl who showed interest on it and call it day

I had a little accident in the road don't worry I'm ok but I can't really walk and the signal is terrible in my room so may take me a while to reply to messages. One luxation in the little finger and one fracture on the phalanx of the thumb. It seems I will be stuck like this for 2 months but at least I have no problems to work. All things considered I'm lucky it wasn't my skull or my hands but it really has been one thing after the other. Just a week ago my graphics tablet shat the bed already waiting for the replacement to arrive th3 Monday until then I'm unemployed and stuck limping in my house.n

I think my graphic tablet shat the bed. Just when I was finally feeling better. If anything I'm only suprised it didn't happen before or in a worse situation since I'm not owing work currently. In other news I found a workaround for the internet problem so I'll resume posting my stuff as usual.

So moving didn't fix much. It got better for a while but soon the power outages reached me there too and that's why my productivity went to shit for these past couple of months. So after exhausting every other option I'm now in the process of installing solar pannels in my parent's house. Already have the batteries and just with that my speed has imroved noticeably but sadly the connection here is terrible so I also need to install an antenna and... it's gonna be some weeks withouth updating this site. I'm still posting regularly on Twitter and bsky but there's only so many sites I can manage withouth having my laptop connected to the net. At the same time all these shit cut very heavily into my margins so I may do a promotion soonsh to recoupe the losses so stay tunned for that.

Well with this commission done I finally have some time to put my lige back together and I was needing it. It seems that moving to another neighborhood isn't going to cut it to fix the blackout problems. In fact it seems like I've ran out of all the sensible solutions so I'm left with the last resort. I'm gonna have to install solar panels in my old house. Luckily I count with the help of my parents to do that and thank God because I'm broke rn. Besides the motorcycle that I may have to sell I don't have a penny after months of being slowed down by blackouts and the renovations in my sister's house. In any case finger's crossed so this does the trick.

I'm currently trying to get back on track and return to my old rythm of work but is not going to be easy. On top of all the shit you already know I still haven't getting used to my new home. After all these months I still have no running water or a fridge so this entire time I've had to commute to my parents home to eat and in a bicycle because my motorcycle has been collecting dust as well. Imagine all the time I waste on the road alone. I want to be optimistic and said I may get this sorted out in the coming month but so far none of my plans have worked out smoothly so who knows I'm still expecting another nation wide blackout soon. I really miss having the time to practice and do some personal projects.

Last year was a heavy mixed bag. On one hand I fulfilled most of the goals I had set up for it even those that I thought unlikely. Scaped the medical field that was bordering on state slavery, got to buy a motorcycle something I always dreamed to have and saw my skills and confidence as an artist improve. On the other hand by August the situation in the country deteriorated to the point I had to throw all my future plans into the trash to focus on getting some shreds of stability. Had to stop any study of painting and 3d modelling, forget about my plans to upgrade the hardware that would may any of those projects easier and in general forfeit any plans to grow my following and expand my business . Luckily by now I have my work schedule sorted out again. I'm starting this year as clean slate I'm not dragging any of the problems of last year but I've also lost most of the progress I've made. My savings are gone, my productivity it's back to to just suboptimal so I need to start working on that again. The state of electrical grid is worse than ever but luckily I'm above that. I moved to a neighborhood that has electricity 24/7 and by pure chance the power plant that powered the hospital of my neighborhood through the black outs also kicked the bucket after years of abuse on neglect so now there's electricity permanently there too for the time being. The new year has also opened with new economics policies from the state. They are dolarizing the economy a unmitigated disaster for the average Joe but not something that will affect me. I've said before and I'll say it again without a course correction this regime won't last long I can wake up in the middle of the civil war. If they don't do something about the power grid that's guaranteed to happen before the year ends because the economy can't survive a 4th consecutive year in this sorry state. As things are this are my short term priorities for this new year:

Survive the new crazy shit the state has in the oven for us
Start improving my painting skills
Get a hold of 3d modeling
Update the hardware I use.
Grow my following (I need to break the 1k mark in Twitter or bluesky if I want something resembling a stable business but that seems unlikely in the short term)
My long term plans are the same as usual
Leave the country which has become harder now since due to recent events I have fewer avenues open or failing that open a second business here to secure some passive income, I already have some ideas for that but I'm gonna need to save a lot. In any case I still maintain a positive attitudes and wish your hopes for the new year become a reality.

I'm moving to another neighborhood. One that due to the convoluted electrical system is spared from the blackouts. Great timing since I can no longer trust the other contingency plan I had anymore. Save from leaving the country this is the most definitive solution I could have hoped for the problem so luckily I won't have to worry about that issue for a while keep in mind that nothing seems to work forever in this asylum of a country but I'm positive that things will become easier from now on. I still haven't moved wanted to do it yesterday but had trouble planning the move. In any case it seems like I might be seeing a return to speed soon. For the time being I'll try to liquidate the comms I have on queue and then I'll open commissions again in late December. Great things are coming!

The situation in the country it's getting worse by the day. In the course of a month the electrical grid has collapsed twice, a hurricane has a struck then an earthquake the blackouts rn are worse than ever, protests are rampant. I don't know for how long I've gonna stay on float.Since October all my plans went to the gutter, the plans I had for next year are in a limbo. I've had contingency plans for emergencies like that that are being proven inadequate before I even give them a shot as the situation gets worse that I can anticipate. Rn I'm just trying to liquidate all the commissions I have on hold to retreat and reorganize my efforts. I pray so time stays my ally but I could literally wake up tomorrow to a perestroika style a civil war. I'm tired gang... I'm so tired
