Just curious as to what happened that they had to shut down the roof of the David L Lawrence Convention center. All that ive heard is that 1 person did something really stupid and that caused them to shut down the roof area. If anyone can help me relieve my curiousity i would appreciate it.

When I was at wal-mart picking up some extra items for supper I passed by the book table. Normally I simply pass by this table without a second glance because the books there usually are crap. However one book called "The Ark" by Boyd Morrison caught my eye and I decided to pick it up and give it a try. That was earlier today....i have just spent the last 7 hours finishing it and it is one of the best books I have read in a long time!!! I highly recommend that you check this book out. I mean...how can you hate a book that has gunfights, car chases, bio weapons, explosions, and all managing to tie them all into a plot involving noahs ark? If it sounds confusing, it is at first but then it explains all as you get deeper. This book sucks you in from the first chapter and leaves you wondering whats going to happen next and wanting more. Thats all Im going to say...so recap:

September 25th marks a great day for canadian film and a sad day for a great series as it will be the last movie of the Trailer park boys series. the movie looks funny as hell and i cant wait to see it!!!

CON REPORT:
Well the con was frickin AMAZING! i made soo many new friends and had so much fun in fursuit! (thanks to Amorylis and some special Brit furs who made my experience fursuiting at AC 09 a blast. There was also the time when I went fursuiting in a gay bar without knowing and my handler ditched me!!! >< but it was a fun time lol. Had a blast at the dances, was one of the fursuiters in the "So this is your first furry con" panel, and i got to be one of the furries on stage for Corsi's song during the masquerade!!! I shall post some pictures over the next week or so of some of my shenanigans lol

OTHER NEWS:

Still working as a casino dealer only now i've been promoted to 3 card poker as well (50 cent pay raise woot!) and my new fursuit is still in the making (hopefully i can unleash him during rainfurrest)...I just looked at the calender and it is 11 days until my birthday (random thought) and I will have a major announcement that will take place sometime after that date

So heres a little story about something that happened to me fairly recently. Last night I was walking the 1 kilometer to my friends house through my parents field in the middle of the country (in -30C weather to boot). I was halfway there when I heard a rustling in the tall grass 10-15 feet away. I froze up and kinda got worried because we have had cougars, wolves, and bears(OH MY!) around in the past. I remember what they told me in survival class (make yourself as big as possible and make a loud noise) so I spread out my arms, stood as tall as I could, and let loose a huge death metal scream as loud as i could. The next thing I hear is a scared yelp from the bushes and this little coyote darts out, running as fast as he can. The whole thing was so funny that I bust out laughing. I couldnt help but think "this fox just kicked a coyotes ass!!!MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

My friend and i were talking the other day at work about random stuff (mostly music) and we reached a question that stumped us completly. Is there a song released in the last 7 years that is truely a song that in another 10-20 years almost everyone will remember? From previous decades there are songs that most people remember vividly (Bohemian Raphsody by Queen, Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin...Hell, even Thunderstruck or Highway to Hell by AC/DC.) but I couldnt really think of one single recent song and niether could my friend. So im turning to you guys to maybe help me answer this puzzling question. Post your songs that you think will truely stand the test of time. ^^

I know that earlier i said that i would never do vocals again after the i fought the law cover, but when i recorded "Heartfelt Apologies" last night i decided to record vocals because this was a) a very emotional song to me and b) my first true original song. However, if anyone wants to record vocals to my songs then you only have to message me and let me know. i can then send you the songs and you can mix vocals into them. Also if there is anyone who writes music but needs someone to make a guitar or drum track to it, then let me know and i will be more than happy to contribute. ^^
