Nearly Done Uploading Backlog
Posted 7 years agoHey, in case you were wondering how I suddenly came to life and commissioned a few dozen pieces, I didn't; I just stopped uploading here.
I'm almost done, the remainders are sketches I've gotten from cons, so that should be almost another dozen, spread across the accounts I have. If you're rustled over the fact that it took so long, bear in mind that I always put this sorta stuff on Twitter almost immediately.

EVE Online: Any players interested?
Posted 14 years agoHey guys, as a quick update, I'm working on art still, albeit very slowly. I've tried to set aside an hour every weekend to do at least SOME artwork, and I'm going to try as hard as I can to stick to it.
As for the title, I've recently taken up playing EVE Online again. Anyone else play? If not, but you wanna see what the game is like, I have a few invites for 21-day trials, which are a week longer than the normal trials you can get. Plus, you'll have the advantage of getting whatever amount of money you need to help bring you up to speed. Uh...to any current players, I've unlocked Level 4 missions, so big money can be had.
As for the title, I've recently taken up playing EVE Online again. Anyone else play? If not, but you wanna see what the game is like, I have a few invites for 21-day trials, which are a week longer than the normal trials you can get. Plus, you'll have the advantage of getting whatever amount of money you need to help bring you up to speed. Uh...to any current players, I've unlocked Level 4 missions, so big money can be had.

I've been getting back into the swing of things, slowly. Thus, I'm wondering how many people watching my account would be interested in doing a few very quick sketch trades, but with a little twist. All I'd ask for is a very quick, very messy sketch of whatever we agree upon. Your end would be anything but a sketch. That would mean that I could go over a sketch of yours and make a lineart of it, or flat color or shade something in your gallery. Whatever you want.
Why not a sketch, you ask?
I'm working on my sketching skills, slowly. But so far, my sketches are horrendous. I seem to have gotten even worse since the last time I tried to sketch, and it's embarrassing to the point that I couldn't possibly ask for something in return.
And for those looking at the queued projects, don't worry. I will promise that I WILL get your part of the trade done in a week at the most.
So, with that said...is anyone interested? Are there any questions?

Posted 14 years agoOkay, a little update on how things are going.
My version of Photoshop doesn't seem to want to do anything like working, so I'm making the move to SAI. Thankfully (and VERY thankfully), it will take .psds, so I think I can safely migrate over. The good news is that I replaced the pad on my tablet, so it now feels very nice and consistent.
In other news, I've got the means and funds to go to MFF this year, but will need roommates. Are there any watchers that are planning on going? It'd make the con so much more fun if there were actually people I knew there, as opposed to just people I've heard of.

Birthday Approaches! Thoughts?
Posted 14 years agoTwentieth birthday coming up on the 27th of this month. That year when you're old, but not old enough for it to mean anything nice. Granted, I'm in a college dorm, so age doesn't really matter when it comes to alcohol use, but still, I haven't...divulged. It's half because I see people every now and then fucked up drunk and running down the hall like complete morons, and just wouldn't want to embarrass myself. I do that enough on a daily basis without getting hammered. Eh, all in all, I'm in no rush. Once I hit that age, I'll never be able to again.
So for the most part, my 20th will have more of an impact on everyone else than me. I got contacted by my sister-in-law saying that she was still finding it hard to believe that I was breaking 20. Me? Just another day, for the most part. It never meant much on FA especially, considering that I've mainly been a watcher, without contributing much more than a bit of cash to artists and a few commissions. But, anyways, I wanted to thank you all for a great year! Viem Giftart
Posted 14 years agoOver the past few months, people have wanted to see their character with my orcaess gal Viem in various scenes, and I've given them permission to commission other people with said scenes. Now, since I'm assuming some of you are watching this account to see stuff of her, I figured she deserved some pimping here, so you can see all of the lovely pieces that people have done of her, that I don't own the rights to upload. I REALLY don't want to sound like I'm complaining, since it's not necessarily a bad thing or a mistake. I just always visualized that her muzzle matched her head in terms of size, and flowed into it, like in http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5210992 . But hey, I love all of you for commissioning these lovely pieces, as well as the artists for using your skills to portray her. It really means a lot to me.

Never before has a comic pulled me in so much, become so positively inTENSE with emotion, and never before have I found myself liking weight gain or hippo TFs quite so much. And yet...I have no idea why. I've never had a history of liking either genre, but this one is just...bam. Pow. WOW.
Why am I putting this in a journal? I've seen some of the things you guys write in your journals. This isn't the worst.

Coloring Commissions: DO YOU WANT THEM?!

A lot of you have uncolored linearts; that I can see by how my inbox flooded with requests from people wanting their stuff colored for free. My question to you is, would you be willing to have them colored for a small price?
Mind you, this does NOT apply for those I've already agreed to color, and of course, I'd color stuff for free on a whim, if it looks too hot to leave alone, etc.
How much of a fee, would you ask? I'd probably be thinking around two dollars for flats, maybe around ten for soft shading? I'd work out the details if there was actually some sort of demand for this stuff.
Either way, I really need your input (if you guys even look at my journals anymore); would you go for it?

Posted 15 years agoSorry guys, I was moving into college at Milwaukee, so everything was all topsy-turvy, and I had to settle in and whatnot. But! I'm back now, and on a spanking new laptop. I may have a lot less time to do art, but though it may take a while, I WILL get stuff done. And hey, on the bright side, my birthday was yesterday c:

Free Icon Requests

It has come to that time in which I ache to art, yet find myself drowing upon putting out regular requests. Because of this, I'm going to try something just a little different.
Instead, my offer will be twofold.
First, let me establish that there is no guarantee that your request will be fulfilled, but there are ways to increase the chance greatly:
I will basically be taking on eight icon request slots. Five of these slots will be composed of people that already have a lineart/sketch of their sona, and would like it to be linearted and colored and converted into an icon.
If you apply for this category slot, there is a very high chance that your request will be accepted.
The other three slots are for pure icon requests. I reserve the right to be picky here, so depending on your sona, you may or may not be chosen.
Anyways, if you read this far, congrats and please submit your ref/description. I look forward to getting back into the artistical swing of things with your help!

'Nuff said. I'm in a heavy equine and bovine mood, and find a startling lack of such in my gallery.
...Okay, there's a lack of everything in my gallery, but that's not the point. The point is that I finally have some free time, and know how I want to spend it, and wonder how many people are actually reading this.
Also, I've resolved to start commenting a lot more, especially considering the artists that I watch deserve it.

My preferences:
In terms of type, I like it digital, but I can deal with handmade stuff, so long as it's a high enough resolution. That's my best friend, high rez. Say hi, hi-rez.
As for content...lemme give you an idea:
Anything female
Anything hyper (most preferrably female)
Those be my preferences. Now, I'll warn you that I'm not the best, but I'm FAR from the worst. I've been doing this for...maybe a year or two? Anyways, if it's no skin off of your back, let's do this!
