Preorder placed!
General | Posted 10 years agoJust placed a preorder for the Puffypaws fox. About time I did so.
And now another toy has been added to the list of toys I'm waiting for.
With shipping paid for the husky and a few other toys I bought from eBay and Walmart, all I have to do is to wait.
So what I should have coming soon:
PP husky (my first PP toy! Can't wait to get it!)
84" old SeaWorld Shamu ride-on from 1995, the design of that whale is so cute and I love it!
Intex realistic turtle from Walmart, because why not?
3x Intex realistic dolphins from Walmart. Decided I have to get two when i can, one for the pool and one for... You know...
The third one I'm giving to my little sister (8 years old) as a birthday present. She doesn't know about it yet.
EDIT: And a black horse from Horseplay Inflatables. Really looking forward to it as well.
On a different note, I made 3 videos so far. I doubt I'll be posting them, since I still need to learn how to make videos.
They're not high quality (laptop camera) but I'll definitely be making some in a couple of weeks, just before I'll start at uni.
Planning to film with my husky, reindeer, and maybe something else as well.

Waiting for inflates! Anyone else?
General | Posted 10 years agoYou know that feeling when you just can't wait for an inflate you paid for to arrive?
Especially when that inflate is one that has a very big sentimental value?
Well that's exactly what I'm feeling about the PP husky, and the soon-to-be-made German Warmblood black horse. Well not so much of a sentimental value towards the black horse though.
*Story alert!*
It was around 5-6 years ago.
For some reason I had this thing for stuffed animals. Didn't really get it, didn't share it with anyone, just had this "thing".
I would spend a lot of my time looking at pictures of plushies online, mostly the ones that cost $50+ and dreaming that some day I'd get one for myself.
After some time, I decided, "Hey, why not look at pics of inflatable animals as well?" Best thought of that time.
Very soon I was introduced to the world of costly inflates and customs. Found my way to deviantArt, and I remember specifically looking through the galleries of Cyrin, schorse, and drgnAlexia. Not too long after that I came across some of the Puffypaws creations, which was where I was amazed. Later I also saw some custom inflatables such as the Aaron dragon, some of the G&G inflatables (which were amazing too, but less than PP), but still I had no way of buying my own inflatable.
The solution came about a year later, but that's something else.
So basically, I really value the PP inflatables. I've dreamed for a very long time of getting one, or actually seeing one, and now it's finally possible for me.
And along with the husky I'm soon going to place an order for a fox as well, so a lot of fun is still waiting.
I haven't inflated Aaron yet, but I'm planning to do so soon. I don't have much time now that I'm working full time, but it's going to be worth it.
I'm also still waiting on the banzai horses, which should be coming this week I think, and that's about it.

Some updates
General | Posted 10 years agoI'll start with Aaron. Good chance she won't be coming, as it seems DHL treat the package as lost. I did get back almost all the money (minus around 40 € in fees) and I'll probably hold on to most of that for now. I am planning to buy some small gear, also looking a bit into latex suits, but that will be expensive for my size.
On another note, after about 24 hours, I finally reached the US! How fun, now I have jetlag of 7 hours. Tomorrow I'll be able to get all the squeakies I ordered, and the one I traded. Staying around a week in Boston, then another in NYC. I'll send pics of the packages of what I got when I can.
Just a little something interesting, I didn't want to use my phone on the way here, so I took my iPod Touch that I bought when the first ones came out. After using it during total of 12 flight time, only half the battery was gone (6 years old, never changed the battery).

Order incoming!
General | Posted 10 years agoSo I went and ordered some stuff from aliexpress (easier shipping than eBay).
I got 2 small plushies, 10 36-inch balloons (5 black and 5 clear), and gear.
It will take around a month or so for everything to arrive, and I think I'll start making videos when it does.
EDIT: Also ordered a pink Bestway dolphin from 2002 that should arrive as I'm staying in the US.

5 additions coming in a month!
General | Posted 10 years agoI got relatives coming from the U.S. in about a month, so i ordered 4 things to their house. The fifth is a bit different.
Firstly, I have in their house currently a Sunco "cool frost" dolphin, and a Topcat reindeer I got in an auction.
Today I also ordered a "vintage" inflatable Intex dolphin, the small cute ride-on from 1999, and a Banzai T-Rex.
I have to say the T-Rex looks REALLY good. And when I say that, I mean it has a harness printed on its head and neck to just make it much better and much more arousing (in my opinion).
So I'm really waiting for the Banzai T-Rex and for the Topcat reindeer both.
The fifth inflatable is one I should be getting soon from a trade (my first one!). It is from someone known on IYRU and PYRU, and we're trading one of my Intex little dragons for a Jets reindeer. So now I'll have 2 reindeer coming from the U.S., and I honestly can't wait to have some good time with them both. And the T-Rex.
Other than these, I'm waiting for IW to release their new products. Planning... *ahem* Getting an angel dragon and a 5m black whale, though I can't figure out if to get the shiny or matte version.
Aaaaand still waiting for my dragoness to arrive. Watching the DHL tracking every day for about a month now, but it seems I'll have to wait a little more.
And that's it. After I get everything listed here, there is very little chance I'll be expanding even more in the next few months or so. Might be I'll even have to give up one of the IW inflates for paying the shipping on the PP husky when it arrives in the U.S./Europe, and I want to buy a ticket to EF this year very early to save money and finalize the dates. Never been to any furry con, and I've wanted to go to EF for a very long time now.

First auction won on eBay!
General | Posted 10 years agoSo today I won my first auction on eBay!
Won a Jets reindeer (the older ones, not lifelike) for only 30$, which I've been looking for a long time.
So that's that. Going to ship to relatives for cheaper shipping, however it does mean I'll only get it by beginning of November.
Other than that, there should be a delivery to me on Monday for some toys, going to have to wait a bit more.
The alligator repair didn't go well. I didn't make sure there was no curve in the patch well enough, and some air is still getting out.
However by lying down on it I managed to find 2 small pinholes, on the outer ring of the body. So now I just have to remove the previous patch and apply a new one, maybe with some vinyl glue.

What is soon to come...
General | Posted 10 years agoWell, I've grown tired of my current job. Even though people are talking to me more freely, and I'm to them, I've decided I want to have a small break before I begin uni. Right now, I'm waiting for answers from a psychological test I've done recently, and if I've past I have a high chance of going to study at the Technion. If I pass everything, I should start at the beginning of October. That's about it in terms of what are my plans for the next couple of years.
Other than that, I've got a few toys I ordered about two weeks ago that should come soon, that consist of a Jets deer, an Intex medival dragon, and a Sunco frosted alligator. I also ordered a Sunco dolphin today. And other than those, by the end of the week I'm supposed to be sent something big.Pictures to come when it all arrives.
Also really waiting for IW to release their angel dragons as well as fox floats. Probably going to buy an angel dragon and two foxes. And if anyone has one and bought one before, can you tell me what you think of the Bema Elephant IW is currently selling?

And back to reality...
General | Posted 10 years agoSo I'm back from vacation. It was great. Went to the pool a lot, ate a lot, drank a lot, and the most important thing was not working.
Lots of fun.
So that was the first time I used pooltoys as actual pooltoys, which was very fun, even though they both got small leaks.
Also opened up to my family a bit about inflatables, but of course I can't say everything so right now it's a collection.
Other things that happened were my little sister asking me to give her my bestway whale to be hers because I don't use it anyway at home. Kindly said no. Later she also cried a bit because I have 2 crocodiles in my collection and she has none and I don't go to the pool anyways and so on.
We also drove to a town called Rethymno, which was a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants and such. Was a fun day.
I did not find any good inflatables to buy, most were tourist-priced which was too much (i.e. Intex blue whale for 16.9 euros).
My father volunteered to bring me inflates if I order them to the U.S. because he travels there about 4 times a year on business, so that's nice, as I won't have to pay a lot for shipping services which i usually do, or use any shipping companies. The only minus to that is I can't order things that are too big, because he needs space in his luggage and an overload can cost up to 100$ extra. But other than that, i should be fine.
As to toys I've ordered, I finally made my payment on the Aaron Dragon, and it should arrive in about a month or so (I hope). Other than that, I did order a few smaller toys (Jets small deer, Intex medival dragon, Sunco frosted crocodile) which should arrive soon, so I'll send pics when they do. Also planning to upload vacation pics soon.
Lots of fun.

Starting a job
General | Posted 10 years agoSo on Sunday I'm going to start working, not something special, just some factory. However it's my first "real" job ever, so I'm excited because i'll earn money.
Basically, my only reason for a job at the moment is to get some more money for inflates and plushies, as I will probably be starting uni in October anyways.
So that's about it. It's about an hour drive from my current house to there (and i don't have my own car yet) so I'll be living with some relatives. It'll be interesting, working about 9 hours a day, at a little more than minimum wage, and kind of away from home.
So basically it will be interesting (probably), and I hope I can maybe raise my inflates budget with this. Maybe I could try Hongyi, or save some for a "big upcoming project" that someone I know told me he's saving for, and looks very interesting. My next couple of months will be very interesting indeed.
Still have an order that should arrive soon, including an Intex medival dragon, a Jet's small deer, and a Sunco alligator.
