General | Posted 14 years agoleggevo i journal a tempo perso visto che non avevo sonno... mi cade di colpo l'occhio su un paio di journal con nomi simili, finchè non metto bene a fuoco e vedo un nome, athus, e di seguito "in memory" qua e "in memory" la, salto sulla sedia e mi metto a leggere
a volte pensiamo che in proporzione alla sua popolarità, una persona debba quasi essere invulnerabile o immortale, e adesso stiamo parlando di un artista del FA, non di un divo del cinema o di chissà quale eroe, per me però aveva un certo peso, lo seguivo praticamente da quando ha messo il suo primo disegno online, ricordo ancora i suoi primi sketch sulla bacheca di nanimoose, ricordo anche quante volte gli ho rotto le scatole per un disegno di charizard, cosa per la quale a dire il vero mi ha decisamente accontentato, allargando il favore e la richiesta anche al dio narse...
ripeto non voglio fare il patema... qualcuno (i piu ignoranti) possono dire che non lo conoscevo, che era solo un disegnatore di pornodraghi, che in fondo non significava nulla... eppure la notizia mi ha lasciato di sasso, non so se per me era fonte di ispirazione o solo lo svago serale delle situazioni noiose (passatemi l'immagine retorica non voglio essere frainteso)
però mi dispiace davvero, sia perchè se ne va un grande artista e una persona che stimavo, sia per quello e per come disegnava, sia per come si rapportava agli altri... una cosa che recrimino sempre al 99% dei grandi artisti su questo sito, è quell'aria da snob d'elite, come se fossero tutti comodamente nati e cresciuti in una sorta di olimpo, e athus non lo era, sebbene facesse parte di quella cerchia non ha mai negato una risposta a nessuno, o una chiacchierata, e almeno per quanto mi riguarda rispondeva a tutti i pm che gli mandavo, qualsiasi cosa scrivessi e sappiate che non sono una cima o un autore di saggi... specie in lingue diverse dalla mia
e mi dispiace a parte tutto, che la vita di un ragazzo si interrompa in modo innaturale, per un incidente, prima che potesse farne ciò che voleva, a 29 anni
io ne ho 26 e l'idea di invecchiare mi angoscia, il fatto che lui a 3 anni piu di me non possa neanche piu dire ciao, mi distrugge
muoiono tante persone ogni giorno, piu o meno lontane, io con tutta probabilità non significavo nulla per lui, e lui per me non era certo un parente o un amico, forse neanche un conoscente, ma era comunque una parte della mia vita online, una presenza costante che ora non ci sarà piu, e questo lascia comunque un vuoto, lascia comunque un amarezza e un senso di rabbia
se io che sono l'ultimo fesso in giro, sto cosi, non posso lontanamente immaginare come possano sentirsi i suoi amici, i suoi parenti, la gente che l'ha conosciuto e ha avuto il piacere di stringergli la mano
voglio dare a loro il mio saluto, e il mio conforto, almeno con la mente voglio stare loro vicino
e un grande saluto e abbraccio ad athus, sei stato uno dei tanti fari che han guidato questo relitto nelle difficili e torbide acque del furry fandom, se non era (anche) per te forse oggi sarei diverso da ciò che sono, almeno in parte
