Secret Santa is a go!
General | Posted 16 years agoHey, remember earlier in the month I was babbling some junk about "Secret Santa art trade/gift art"? Well I'm still going though with it. There were a few people who said they were up for it, but this thing would be a heck of a lot more fun if even more people were in on it. Let me spill the rules before you completely lose interest.
* You don't have to be a great artist to be part of this. If you can put a pencil/pen to paper/tablet, join the party!
* You draw a picture for a random participant and another random participant will draw a picture for you.
* Just send a note/PM to me saying you want to be part this Secret Santa game and include a reference of one of YOUR characters you want drawn. No official/copyright characters, please (Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Star Fox, Mario, etc). Picture references are preferred, but if you only have a text reference, make it as simply while detailed as possible, we don't need the whole life story...
* In the upcoming week(s) I will note you the random participant and a ref of his/her character for you to draw. Do not let that person know you're his/her secret santa.
* The picture can be of just about anything, but its preferred if it was in the winter/holiday spirit. Be careful about the Christmas theme, not everyone celebrates Christmas. You can include one of your own characters to make the picture look more interesting (optional). If you do, please don't have your character be the focus of the picture.
* Whenever you finish your picture, post it contact both me and the person receiving your gift linking to that picture.
* Your picture will be done in due time by the the other random person. Please don't wait for your pic to show up before you post the one you do, otherwise no one will get any. This thing's more about giving, anyway.
* (UPDATE!!!) The deadline to join is November 27! Be there or be a non-elliptical object!
That's about it. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. If you want to take part, just send that note. You'll find out who you'll be drawing for once I get enough members.
This little game/event is also going on on DeviantArt.com, and its separate from this one. So if you want to join in over there too, note me over there.
If you want to make this really big, post a journal announcing this Secret Santa game, linking back to this journal. The more the merrier! :D

"YES" X 2! :D
General | Posted 16 years agoFirst "YES!!"
I just beat Mario and Luigi 3! Awesome game, much better than the 2nd one by a long shot. And Bowser is a Beast!
Second "YES"
They have egg nog available at my local Wal-Mart! I didn't think that stuff was available until at least half way through November! :D Unfortunately, I polished the carton off in less than a day...
As for art news, I'm regaining motivation so there should be a good amount of pics and comics coming in this week, fer shure.

D.T.: the avid gamer!
General | Posted 16 years agoAnd by "Avid" I mean "pathetic".
Turns out I've clocked in too many hours playing just my Wii and DS...
According to my Wii, I've played:
977 Hrs of Super Smash Bros Brawl
123 Hrs of Mario Kart Wii
69 Hrs of Animal Crossing Wii
41 Hours of Zelda Wii
34 Hrs of Super Mario Galaxy
and 30 Hrs of Super Paper Mario
Not even counting the other 63 games I've played on just THAT system, I've clocked in about 1,274 Hours (53 Days worth).
And don't get me started with DS games.
100 Hrs of Pokemon Pearl
25 Hrs of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (just beaten it, too)
20 Hrs in Mario and Luigi 3
and there's still 40-something DS games I haven't mentioned...
And there's still my PSP, Xbox 360, and PS2.
Now I see why I never have time to draw... :b
---
There was no real news in that, was there? Then how about this? New Money Cent comic page tomorrow! :D

It feels like a gaming weekend! (SSBB, TF2, Halo 3, GTA 4!)
General | Posted 16 years agoI'm up for a little to a lot of gaming this weekend! If anyone wants to play with/against me just let me know!
My Steam ID is: DT_Fox (the underscore is important!) I only have Team Fortrest 2 because I'm a cheap punk...
My XBox Live ID is DTFox (no under score or hyphen)
And my Brawl FC, you're just gonna have to ask for that one.
So who wants to throw down?

Secret Santa Gift Art/Art Trades? WAT???
General | Posted 16 years agoAlright, so you know how with the holiday season coming up (81 days to go!), and people just love getting gifts, right? And it's morally correct to give rather than receive, right? Then what if someone (supposedly me) were to coordinate with other artists (supposedly YOU and others) to draw one pic for a random person as long as you get a pic back from that or another random person?
Would anyone actually be game for it?
Did anyone even understand what I was trying to say?
If you're interested, let me know. If you need me to explain more, also let me know. :D

General | Posted 16 years agoLet me put it out, that I'm not angry in anyway.
Anyone who knows which show the title's quote came from gets a thumbs up from me! :D If you know the nickname of the guy, you get two thumbs up!
Now for the meat of this journal: I'm gonna have to put my foot down and close up any further requests for a while. All this free work is kinda putting a hurt on my own projects and even my time. I mean I haven't worked on a new comic page in over 3 weeks, and I barely touched any serious animations. When will requests be open again? Who knows? The only people I'd be willing to do requests for are family, friends, and long time web friends. I kinda felt that last one was worth mentioning for whatever reason.
Now, I have no problem in keeping Commissions and Art Trades open mainly because (I'm selfish) they're more worth it to procrastinate my own projects for. If you are interested in either of the two, just note me about it.
So in short:
Requests = CLOSED (indefinitely)
Trades = OPEN
Commissions = OPEN
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask! :D

My lord Frederick, I have returned!
General | Posted 16 years agoI'm back from AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta) and it was super duper uber fun! I drove
CJ-fox and one of his friends up to Atlanta singing and dancing in my car the whole way there. Unfortunately because I left my place pretty late we missed out on Fridays events, but Saturday totally made up for it!
There were so many people cosplaying as just about any character from any show/game you could think of. And what you wouldn't expect were there too.
We hit up the game room to play a little SSBB, and I dominated the room (lies). Checked out the Dealer's room to see what merchandise was available. All I got was a floppy eared dog hat, but CJ went all out. He picked up the shield from Legend of Zelda, Chopper's hat from One Piece, a gunblade from some dude in a Final Fantasy game, and had a Naruto head band he already had. People just stopped by taking pictures. It was cuh-rayzee!
We stopped by a showing AMVs and saw a Dragon Ball Z special. Did you know Vageta has a brother?
And the biggest part I enjoyed was seeing 2 voice actors who played Edward Elric and Winry from Full Metal Alchemist. I can't go too into it, but it was high energy and pretty hilarious.
Later in the night, we played Brawl, trading wins and losses. I won most of the matches (also lies).
All in all it was a fun time. So fun that I'm actually feeling that "post-con" feeling where you're not ready to go just yet. I'm already looking forward to going to more conventions!
Next stop: Momocon ('10) and FWA ('10)! I wont be fursuiting, but I WILL be cosplaying!
Also being at an event that was all about the animation, comics and games has got me motivated to draw a whole lot more. Time to get a move on again! :D

Going to Anime Weekend Atlanta!
General | Posted 16 years agoYup, I'm hitting up AWA for Friday and Saturday with
CJ-fox and my bro.
And if any of you are going it'd be cool to meet up for a bit. I could probably do a simple sketch or something for you. Just look for the tall black guy wearing all blue with a blue and gray book bag, who could be sporting a badge that spells "DT-Fox".
If you're a cop, you're looking for a 5"4' caucasian guy. Chances are he may be hiding his identity dressing up as fictional characters, so it'd be on the safe side to shoot first and ask questions later. :b
Hope to see someone there! Its gonna be off the hook, y'all!

General | Posted 16 years agoMs. Condoleezza Rice spoke at my college earlier this week.
I'm not sure how big that'll sound to people, especially since the Bush Administration didn't have a lot of fans. But she WAS the Secretary of State for the United States.
I promise the next journal will be more significant...

Requsts, Trades, and Commissions (Updated)
General | Posted 16 years agoIf you're interested in one of the 3 please be sure to read the following:
There will be a list for requests, trades and commissions. There will be 3 open slots for the first two and commissions will have an unlimited list (because how many people are really going to sign up for that?). Its all first come, first serve so after the slots fill that's all for the time being. Just comment on this journal and you get a spot. Its that easy!
Its also worth mentioning that commissions and trades would take top priority over requests, and that requests would be done as I get to them. They are free, so what's waiting a week to a few months, really?
Of course if both the requests and trade slots are filled, or if you don't want to wait forever and a day, there's always the commission section. And before you count that out check this: You get to set your own price! You get a fully colored, detailed, with a background (optional) picture and you pay whatever you want AFTER your picture is done! It can be as little as a penny, or as much as $200+! That's the way the game plays! You've got the power!
Also anyone who is interested, try to keep the subject PG-13 or lower. If you need an idea, just look what my gallery holds. And if you're still unsure about the content or anything don't be afraid to ask or note me.
I think that's about it, so have at ye, matey!

Commissions:

Jackal_Hound
Requests:

That list was smaller than I thought it would be. And I guess I'll get those out of the way before I open commission/trades/requests again. I mean they were never really closed in the first place, but no one was informed about it being open or closed so I wasn't sure if people were afraid to ask or something.
Also why is the "Commissions Info" tab STILL not working? Its like the FA search engine all over again!

Believe it!
Also I needed to make this new journal to move that Drawing meme journal out of the way...

Drawing Meme Journal! *sparkle, sparkle*
General | Posted 16 years agoThis meme seems to be making a second round here on FA, so I'm jumping on it while I have the chance, because I love nothing more than to open up to people I don't even know. :V

When did you start drawing?
Everyone says that they used to draw when they were little/in elementary school. I still say that doesn't count. I believe the time you start drawing is when you say "Hey I like this, and I want to get better at it!" For me that was about Summer 2004. My first little comic series was, in fact, Money Cent. Looking back at it, it suuuuuucked...
Which hand do you use for drawing?
I've always been right handed. I wish I was ambidextrous, though.
Which is easier to draw - male or female?
I don't have much trouble with either. My biggest problem is making the females' "eyes" of proper shape and proportion.
Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Longer hair means less concern of the shape of the head. Bangs are my biggest issue.
Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
If its to the right, its alright! :b Its also a force of habit.
Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
I think to the side. The 3/4 angle, to be exact.
What do you have problems in drawing?
Dynamic poses, angles, background, and machinery (cars, boats, etc.). Oh and hands. That's why they're usually balled up.
What do you like to draw?
Mostly anthro/furry art. Would I even be here if I didn't? I just enjoy drawing things fun and funny. And even if its not THAT entertaining, I'm just proud that I could take something from my mind and make it concrete. :) If my stuff makes people happy, then I feel really proud! :D I've also been meaning to draw humans more for another comic.
Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
I first started as a traditional artist, then I moved to digital when I bought my first tablet. Most of my works now are digital mainly because its quicker, easier, and if I make a mistake, good ol' Ctrl+Z is there for me!
Where do you start drawing from?
I was always told to start from the head. For me I go from the nose (or snout) to the rest of the head, moving on to the torso, then the limbs.
Any tips for coloring/shading?
Place a pretend light source, like a little circle for the sun. Shade just about everything on the opposite side of the light source. If you keep practicing, you'll get a better idea on where/what light stops and curves around.
How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
It can vary from a few minutes to several hours. It all depends on the complexity and what you call "finished".
What music do you listen to while you draw?
Japanese music (pop, rock, rap), American/English Rock, rap, pop, and video game music. The more energetic the music, the more motivation I feel.
How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Sometimes a random thought just pops into my head in the next minute, while others could take a few hours.
Your favorite drawing utensils?
Mechanical pencils (I just love 'em!) with the white erasers, Micron pens (.005, 02, 03, 08), and my wacom tablet.
Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
I'd have to say blue.
Your favorite style(s)?
From official works, I really enjoy the art style in One Piece. It doesn't take itself too seriously and definitely doesn't follow the common way of most other manga. From unofficial works, I really enjoy styles that you can tell the artist enjoyed making some part of it. The simple/complex, cartoon/anime influenced styles that, again, don't take themselves too seriously. That's not to say I don't enjoy the super detailed works either.
Are you satisfied with your current art?
It took me about 5 years to get to where I am. I'll always be proud with what I'm capable of, and I'll always have a desire to get better!
What kind of artist are you aiming for?
A rich one! I kid, I kid (kinda). I draw to entertain, so if my works make people happy, then I'm happy. :D
My ultimate artistic dream is for my ideas to make it on TV, entertain the audience, become part of their nostalgia trip when they grow up. My second ultimate dream is to have my own company/studio and use my power to push other amature artists. In the business everyone has to know someone to get through. I'm willing to be that someone they need. I know its a long shot, but with a lot of work, dedication, motivation, and a team, its possible! :D
Well that's all. Hope you enjoyed reading. And if you stuck it out, then congrats!
Typos and poor grammar abound; its the Drawing Meme Journal! ---

Hey y'all this is a mother effin' update!
General | Posted 16 years agoAlright I tried typing this journal once before, but somehow closed the window and lost the text, so here's take two! Some parts of this journal may be important while others wont. I just feel obligated to put it all here.
First in the news: I've been home for a little over 2 weeks now, I just really suck at following up on journals. That's not really meant to be an excuse...
Second in the news: I got my downed laptop back. Everything is in working order, except for some reason the built in speakers dont work and the number lock key is malfunctioning. As for the original problem, turns out a part of the motherboard was completely burnt out which caused too much power to surge through the motherboard which makes it automatically shut down before reaching any part of the laptop (or something like that). That's why nothing appeared on the screen and I couldn't even use an external monitor to see whats wrong. So I just wanna say "thank you" to those who took the time to give tips or ideas how to fix and see what may have been wrong with my laptop. I'm gonna have to do something for you guys. No lie! :D
Third in the news: I know there's a mess-load of requests and commissions I still have to do, and I wanna say that I'm sorry for taking so long. Good thing you guys didn't pay me first, right? I do remember who's waiting for what and I'll make an updated "to do" list just for the heck of it.
Fourth in da news: I'm going back to college next week meaning new dorm mates (that's right we all get our own separate rooms!), new classes, and new friends to make! Oh that also means I may have to be a less active around here (how's that different from any other time I'm on here?). Last semester I kinda cut it a little close... like, REALLY close. Like, if I didn't reach a certain GPA, I would've been kicked out, close.
I guess that's about it for now. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask... What would there be to ask?
First in the news: I've been home for a little over 2 weeks now, I just really suck at following up on journals. That's not really meant to be an excuse...
Second in the news: I got my downed laptop back. Everything is in working order, except for some reason the built in speakers dont work and the number lock key is malfunctioning. As for the original problem, turns out a part of the motherboard was completely burnt out which caused too much power to surge through the motherboard which makes it automatically shut down before reaching any part of the laptop (or something like that). On to other stuff! So anyone who was paying attention wondering "Hey, why hasn't D.T. submitted anything or said anything lately? That's not like him!" And you are right! AND I have a perfectly decent reason for you: I was in Las Angeles, California for the past few days. Except yesterday... and the day before that. But as for the other days (since last week Thursday) was in LA with my family. I promise I'll finally get to any comments made while I was gone.
In little bullets on what we did there and here:
*Went to Disney Land (got a pic with Mickey and Minnie Mouse).
*The Warner Bros. Studio Tour (sat on the real couch of Friends and saw the real set of Two and a Half men)
*Went to Hollywood (saw the walk of fame, tour of the Stars' homes, saw the Hollywood sign, went by the Kodak Theater, and the Chinese Theater).
*Went to Santa Monica where the Peir was (remember the peir in Rocket Power? Its kinda like that).
*Went to the Staple Center (where many of the Laker basket ball games are) and stopped by the convention center (where E3 is usually held).
*And clocked in over 10 hours of Mario and Luigi 3 (the Japanese version). I gotta say, Bowser is a BEAST in that game!
*Saw Ice Age 3, Public Enemy, and Harry Potter.
That pretty much sums it up. The only things left is for my bro and I to help our mom move some furniture in to a new house, and we'll be on our way down to GA (though I'm not ready to go yet).
What I'm disappointed about is that as fun as this summer is, I got next to no real projects done, I still owe some people some requests, commissions, the Rhythm Heaven Collab, Lv. Up! and a bunch of other stuff to do AND I have a month to go until I'm back in school! What's a guy to do??? I guess to just do it.
Back to work!!!

Where in the world is Carmen San Dieago?
General | Posted 16 years agoAnd by "Carmen San Diego", I mean D.T.. And by "D.T.", I mean me.
Well I'm here with my bro and my mom up here in the D.C. area, doing a little house hunting/vacationing. It's pretty late, so any new stuff (comments and whatnot), I'll have to get to when I can. I hope I didn't sound like a jerk when I said that. I also feel bad that I have a bunch of requests and commissions to do, and now I'm in a hotel.
Though its not the best atmosphere for gaining comfortability to draw, I did think ahead and brought my art supplies AND a scanner, so I'll try to get as much done as possible.
As for what went on, we went to the Washington Monument to check the fireworks (doesn't get any more patriotic than that).
Its 2 AM over here, so my grammar probably isn't the best...
Anyway, how've you guys been doing? : D

K.O.'d laptop, I need some help! And a sweet commish deal!
General | Posted 16 years ago*Typing from family computer*
Lord, please forgive me for what I'm about to say...
Short version: My laptop is down and I need to get it repaired or a new one. If you have any tips or would like some service (i.e. commissions), either one would be widely welcomed. :D For the commissions part head to the bottom of this post, I assure you its a pretty sweet offer.
Long Version: I'm chilling in my room, using my laptop and talking on the phone with my bud
CJ-Fox. All of a sudden, out of nowhere my laptop screen turns a yellow tint. I get a wee bit worried and restart the comp. Everything is fine and dandy for a little while until the screen turns yellow again. Now I'm getting even more nervous, so I shut it down again and start it up again.
It starts up with a yellow screen, but I figured maybe I can get through this and fix it. All of a sudden the screen scrambles with white and whatever color was currently on the screen. I could no longer see what's on the screen. So now even more nervous and a little annoyed, I had to shut the computer down and call HP (the computer company and also the biggest mistake of the night...). So after paying 50 bucks just for some foreign sounding guy to go on his computer and run a "diagnostic", my laptop now has a black screen AND wont even boot up (without restarting over and over again).
This whole problem wouldn't be too if some of my art files (don't worry, no requests are stuck on it) along with a mess load of other data (including animation data and programs) was stuck on that piece of schnap. Not only that, but I'm going back to college in 2 months, and a computer is NECESSARY...
If you haven't noticed where this is going by now, here it is: If you have any tips on how to bring a "dead" laptop back to life, I'd greatly appreciate it.
But assuming that its this far gone, I'd either need to get it repaired or just get a new one, but I still have to back up the data. So I would like to do commissions for my little cause.
Considering that you'd be paying for something, I think I'd be compelled to go by the "Anything goes rule", but I still have SOME standards. And to make it sound like an even sweeter deal, I'll do 2 fully colored fully detailed pics (I rarely do anything less, even with requests) per payment, and you can pay ANYTHING you want! The amount of characters and complication of the pic would of course be negotiated upon. This is when I wish I was a better and less prude artist...
$1? Cool! $10? Sure! $20? Heck yeah! $500? You'll be my new best friend (j/k). A penny? Uh, sure... at this point, any help is good help! This is something not a lot of artists would do! So if you want one, or care about my situation, just hit me up on this journal or with a private message.
But don't think I'm a COMPLETE dead beat. I do have a job, but being an 18 year old college student working for minimum wage (6.55/hour) just isn't gonna cut it... or at least not quick enough.
And don't worry those who are still waiting for their requests, you are still my top priority. Any further requests, though, are closed until this situation get handled...
If you still have any tips on laptop repairs, I'm all ears! :D

General | Posted 16 years agoHow long have you guys have been waiting for your requests to be done? Like 2 months? I'm not gonna make any excuses, just gonna say "This week fo' sho'." Eagle Scout's honor!
So how 'bout that Lakers' game?
General | Posted 16 years agoI'm making a follow up journal because the previous one just stretched my main page like there was no tomorrow. If you like puns, check it out: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/768150/
Away from that, not much new stuff. I hope to get a move on requests by this weekend. Then on to the bigger stuff!

Einsman and DT's 'Pun'tastic battle!
General | Posted 16 years ago*Warning: Possible TL;DR ahead...*
Alright so
einsman and I were chatting in the wee hours of the morning and we managed to get into a Pun off a little after I showed him an episode of Flap Jack (the pun episode) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oa1-XwulWhU&feature=PlayList&p=30B357A74ED52A9D&index=31. I've never chatted with another person who could conjure up so much word play in so little time. I figured this might be a fun thing to share with you guys. Just to warn you guys, we are not responsible if you face palm yourself or groan over any of these puns, so read at your own risk.
---
Einsman- says:
people DO call me the pun-isher
DT-Fox says:
Its a pretty cool hobby as long as one doesn't get 'pun'ched for making a pun.
Einsman- says:
you mean decking the halls?
DT-Fox says:
Yup. Get hit in the head too hard and you'll be hearing jingle bells.
Einsman- says:
Ringing in the ears?
DT-Fox says:
Exactly
Einsman- says:
thanks for the link man
good material!
DT-Fox says:
No prob. Its a really good show, but this is the only episode ALL about puns. : D
I think I'm gonna have to call it quits real soon. Its 4:50AM over here and I haven't slept all day
Einsman- says:
that crying was creepy o-o
DT-Fox says:
But funny XD
I really though he smiled through everything
Einsman- says:
Constant smiling is considered a grin
DT-Fox says:
And he is a Jokster/pun king.
Einsman- says:
did you joke on that one?
DT-Fox says:
Nah.
I wish I could though
DT-Fox says:
I didn't think the first part of that episode was as good as the second, but check the near end of it. Its actually pretty good.
Einsman- says:
Oh GOD
D:
DT-Fox says:
You just saw it?
Einsman- says:
Those are BAD
and that bruce lee pingpong is BADASS
DT-Fox says:
Wow that is crazy!
I'm almost convinced that its "photoshoped"
Einsman- says:
How dare you call vince a con!
DT-Fox says:
I would never! : O
Einsman- says:
what kinda wood? oak?
DT-Fox says:
Cherry
Einsman- says:
must sound good
being like Cherry Garcia and all
DT-Fox says:
Yeah, but I prefer cinnimon swirl
It gives the chance for a turn around in a pun battle
Einsman- says:
I prefer a pretzel
although it makes things a little twisted
DT-Fox says:
I swear if you say something twisted
Einsman- says:
It would seem we are tied
DT-Fox says:
Just dont take this stalemate with a grain of salt
Einsman- says:
I wouldn't feel one bit insalted
DT-Fox says:
But if there's no epic finish, the whole battle will seem half-baked...
Einsman- says:
we should give the crowd a bit of a rise then
DT-Fox says:
Maybe we can make a little dough while we're at it
Einsman- says:
and maybe recieve some flours
DT-Fox says:
Its the yeast they could do
Einsman- says:
yeast? oh you got me liquored there
DT-Fox says:
I'm not really sure what good come back I can make, so I'll just grin and beer it
Einsman- says:
stop yer vinin' you sour grape
DT-Fox says:
Personally I hate to wine
Einsman- says:
that is sherry true
DT-Fox says:
Could you try 'beer'ing me on, cause I'm becoming a drip right now
Maybe if I sat 'sober' there
Einsman- says:
maybe try a few hops?
come on! You're barley tryin!
DT-Fox says:
I know! I think I'm all washed up! [?]
Einsman- says:
that was a sud
DT-Fox says:
You're definitely kicking my glass
You're cleaning my clock!
You're wiping the floor with me!
Einsman- says:
cleaning your clock? do you need a had?
hand?*
and if I am wiping the floor with you, would you like me to give you a mopportunity for a comeback?
DT-Fox says:
Yeah, I may need a minute or an hour to come up with something to sweep you off your feet.
Einsman- says:
I'll dust you off and we can see how things pan out from there
DT-Fox says:
I guess we're two birds of a feather[duster]
Einsman- says:
Speaking of dusters, we're the cream of the crop
DT-Fox says:
The fruit of the loom?
Einsman- says:
loom? don't be sheepish
pulling such a yarn on me
DT-Fox says:
I'm just really baaaad at making puns
Einsman- says:
ugh
that was goatesque
DT-Fox says:
Good thing we're not talking, or my voice would get horse
Einsman- says:
you neighsayer
DT-Fox says:
C'mon buck up!
Einsman- says:
quit making an ass outta me!
and reply quicker
donkey-p me waiting
DT-Fox says:
Well its hard to respond so fast in this burro.
buro?
I really wish I had an ace in the hole
Einsman- says:
feeling flush?
you're sweating in spades
DT-Fox says:
Maybe, but I've got heart
Einsman- says:
makes you shine like a diamong
diamond*
DT-Fox says:
Maybe after this thing we can hit the club
Einsman- says:
I think our luck is stacked in our favor
we can try a bit of a shuffle
DT-Fox says:
Or we can continue on a higher deck
And I'd hate to cut this short
Einsman- says:
See that girl over there?
lemme try a 52 card pickup line
DT-Fox says:
Don't, she'll hit you
You may go over
Einsman- says:
Hey baby! They call me the king of hearts!
Forget about Jack!
DT-Fox says:
But I'm a black jack
Einsman- says:
I can buy you spades of diamonds!
DT-Fox says:
I've got a full deck if you know what I mean
Einsman- says:
Don't make me fold you in a full house
DT-Fox says:
Don't make me give you 2 pairs of black eyes!
Whoops...
Einsman- says:
a little too much gin and rummy?
DT-Fox says:
Yeah, I need to rest a little. Maybe I can go fish
Einsman- says:
well, since you're grasping at straws
I'ma hit the hay
DT-Fox says:
I guess that's the last straw?
Einsman- says:
that sucked
DT-Fox says:
I know, but there was no needle to point that out. ) :
Einsman- says:
so you stabbed in the dark?
DT-Fox says:
Yeah. I kinda shanked it.
Einsman- says:
weave around it then
that's more your textile
DT-Fox says:
Sew I need new material?
I should quilt while I'm ahead...
Einsman- says:
do you seam-e using old stuff?
DT-Fox says:
no, but I a frayed I'll take too long to respond
Einsman- says:
keep fabricating excuses
DT-Fox says:
Maybe sew, but you should just 'bask'et in the glory that you've won
Einsman- says:
I won?
Wickered!
DT-Fox says:
Like when rubbing nylon, I'm estatic for you
Make sure you cling on to your prize
Einsman- says:
don't let me latex down the law
or my ego will inflate
DT-Fox says:
Well I'd hate to burst your bubble, but that ship has sailed
Einsman- says:
go lick a lollipoop on the deck sucker
D:
gotta go
mother hen is egging me on to bed
DT-Fox says:
And that's no yolk to have a mother skwak at you
Einsman- says:
especially when you can see the whites in her eyes
ain't no sunny side up
DT-Fox says:
Ignore her too long and your fried
Einsman- says:
I need to get laid....
DT-Fox says:
Hey you mind if I put our pun off on FA? It would look eggciting
Einsman- says:
that gets me scrambled with eggcitment!
DT-Fox says:
And it would crack everyone up! Have any eggs left in your basket before we head out?
Einsman- says:
don't hatch any cracked schemes tho
night man
DT-Fox says:
Don't worry, I wouldn't peck at a good thing like this.
G'night

And I'd hate to cut this short
Einsman- says:
See that girl over there?
lemme try a 52 card pickup line
DT-Fox says:
Don't, she'll hit you
You may go over
Einsman- says:
Hey baby! They call me the king of hearts!
Forget about Jack!
DT-Fox says:
But I'm a black jack
Einsman- says:
I can buy you spades of diamonds!
DT-Fox says:
I've got a full deck if you know what I mean
Einsman- says:
Don't make me fold you in a full house
DT-Fox says:
Don't make me give you 2 pairs of black eyes!
Whoops...
Einsman- says:
a little too much gin and rummy?
DT-Fox says:
Yeah, I need to rest a little. Maybe I can go fish
Einsman- says:
well, since you're grasping at straws
I'ma hit the hay
DT-Fox says:
I guess that's the last straw?
Einsman- says:
that sucked
DT-Fox says:
I know, but there was no needle to point that out. ) :
Einsman- says:
so you stabbed in the dark?
DT-Fox says:
Yeah. I kinda shanked it.
Einsman- says:
weave around it then
that's more your textile
DT-Fox says:
Sew I need new material?
I should quilt while I'm ahead...
Einsman- says:
do you seam-e using old stuff?
DT-Fox says:
no, but I a frayed I'll take too long to respond
Einsman- says:
keep fabricating excuses
DT-Fox says:
Maybe sew, but you should just 'bask'et in the glory that you've won
Einsman- says:
I won?
Wickered!
DT-Fox says:
Like when rubbing nylon, I'm estatic for you
Make sure you cling on to your prize
Einsman- says:
don't let me latex down the law
or my ego will inflate
DT-Fox says:
Well I'd hate to burst your bubble, but that ship has sailed
Einsman- says:
go lick a lollipoop on the deck sucker
D:
gotta go
mother hen is egging me on to bed
DT-Fox says:
And that's no yolk to have a mother skwak at you
Einsman- says:
especially when you can see the whites in her eyes
ain't no sunny side up
DT-Fox says:
Ignore her too long and your fried
Einsman- says:
I need to get laid....
DT-Fox says:
Hey you mind if I put our pun off on FA? It would look eggciting
Einsman- says:
that gets me scrambled with eggcitment!
DT-Fox says:
And it would crack everyone up! Have any eggs left in your basket before we head out?
Einsman- says:
don't hatch any cracked schemes tho
night man
DT-Fox says:
Don't worry, I wouldn't peck at a good thing like this.
G'night

...It was AWESOME! A 'pun' battle to remember. I hope you guys got a chuckle out if it. I know I did :D
Yo yo! I'm back!
General | Posted 16 years agoI've been back for about a day or so. Here's the trip in a quick list of sorts:
*Drove 7 hours from GA to Washington D.C.
*Did a little house hunting up there, but to no avail...
*I bought myself a Blue DSi and Kirby Super Star Ultra.
*My mom, my bro, and I went to our old neighborhoods on the Maryland side and found that it's grown a whole lot. In fact it grew so much it even got it's own elementary school! D:<
*We jumped from military base to military base checking all of them out. Its kinda like if you see one, you see then all...
*We headed back home (7 hour drive again) and then not even 10 minutes later, I had to head to Cold Stone Creamery to work.
It was a fun trip over all, but unfortunately, I got one pic done... I hope to get all requests done and get a move on a few projects.

Goin' on a trip!
General | Posted 16 years agoHeading up north with my family for a little "business". That doesn't mean I wont have computer access I'm sure. While I'm up there, I'm gonna try to get some more pics done. But because I don't have access to a scanner, I can't submit any pics drawn on paper, which is what I do most comics and requests. I still have my tablet, though so you can expect some tablet made pics.
See you when I see ya!
See you when I see ya!
Oh my Stars!
General | Posted 16 years agoNews Flash!
*I've passed all my classes, so I'm officially a college sophomore! Yey!
*I gots a summer job at a chain ice cream parlor, so a little cha-ching during my 3 month free time.
*With the school year over and finals behind me, I finally have time and motivation to wrap up requests/trades and get to animating AND balance several comics!
*I went to see Wolverine and Star Trek (IMax ver.) with my bro and my mom. Wolverine was pretty ok. Star Trek was intense and LOUD. Oodles of fun! I can't wait for "Up", Transformers, Ice Age, and whatever else is coming out.
*Anyone who wants to Brawl (Wii), play Bomberman Blast (Wii), or any other game (just ask), hit me up!
That's all from me for now. So how y'all doin'?

You like Chowder, Billy and Mandy, and/or Kids Next Door?...
General | Posted 16 years agoWell this could very well strike your interest!
The creator of Chowder (C.H. Greenblatt) is holding a few web auction for a good cause! Him and 2 other cartoon creators drew a few pics to sell and the money will go towards said cause. It seems like people have already swiped some of the good stuff, but it may still be worth looking into.
Here's his blog thingy giving the complete DL: http://nerdarmada.blogspot.com/
If you like any of the 3 shows (see the title of this journal), and you care about the people, AND you have cash to throw down, check it out! I wish I could help out.

Know Your Meme.com

Ever since the "Over 9000" craze those little years ago (and maybe even some time before that), memes have been on the rise and are ever increasing. Some are fun, while others are kind of annoying *coughpoorlyanimatedCaramellDansencough*.
But as annoying as those some of those memes are, my bigger concern was that people were supporting and regurgitating (and butchering) something they know almost next to NOTHING about.
The site seems fairly new, considering there's not a lot of meme reference on there, but its like a nice fusion of Encyclopedia Dramatica and Wikipedia put together, but, you know, without the cynical info or the "anyone can input" abuse ability.
So if you wanna check the source behind the memes, hit up http://knowyourmeme.com/ !
