Alright, I've seen a few other artists do this before. I think it allows for the people to know them a little more. So I guess the way it works: Hit me up with any kind of question, and I'll try to give an answer!

... Sort of... I kinda plan to change things around in the up coming weeks. If people are willing to go for it, I may FINALLY start doing commission, cause almost every artist dream of get payed for their work... I know I would. And it wouldn't be much, just somewhere between $2-$5 for for a full on picture (like just about EVERYTHING I do).

I would most likely still do requests and trades but commissions would take top priority. What would also be cool is that if I was to do commissions, I think I would go by the "anything goes" rule. Or at least to an extent. Suggestive and more "mature" content upon commission: Most likely. Straight out goin' at "it": still probably a "no"...

The only thing I worry about is that when people see dollar signs, they tend to quiet down and go into hiding (figuratively speaking, of course). But when stuff is free; Hands raised! Into the light! Its funny, cause I do it too at times. But not that often.

So yeah tomorrow's never promised so why not ask for a request/trade now? :D Also I have no problem doing a request over a trade.

So anyone who's payed any mind to what I've submitted and talked about, I've been playing a new DS music based game called "Rhythm Heaven" (or "Rhythm Tengoku Gold" for the Japanese faithful). It is an awesome game! I dare say even better than the first GBA one (that was only released in Japan).

I enjoyed it so much, I managed to beat it at 100% in about 2 days worth. I rock! And apparently have too much time on my hands... That and too much dedication to a simple 'vidja' game. But what can I say? I LOVE me some music games! :D

So if you have $30 you can drop, be sure to drop it on Rhythm Heaven! But quick warning: if you lack a good sense of rhythm it will be one of the harder games in your library. But its not impossible!

As for the "Idea" part of this journal. As I played Rhythm Heaven, I remembered a little animation based off the game 8 months ago... I don't think "Based off" is the right term, but here it is: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1481533/

At first, I was thinking maybe I could make another full animation, but that could take up a lot of my time (especially since I am trying to get so many other stuff done). So another idea dawned on me: Why not make an animation collab with others rather than myself?

And that's the idea. Would anyone be interested in making a Rhythm Heaven animation Collab with me? You don't have to own the game or even know every little thing about it. You just have to have Flash (the program), SOME animation ability and be a fan of music games. Anyone who's interested, just let me know!

Don't worry still, my other projects are still getting done. :D

This is really embarrassing to say, but I forgot to add her huge floppy ears. How do you call something a jackalope and forget the rabbit ears??? Its just as important as the antlers! D: Whats worse is that she's one of my oldest characters! Its a good thing I work by Layers otherwise adding things would be a little hard to recover from...

First off: Anyone who watched me in the past X amount of days/weeks/months, I just wanna say Thanks for da watch! I'm not trying to be a jerk if I didn't go to your page to thank you personally. Its just that when I see how many times one receives a "Thank you" per watch given it feels a little bit redundant... On one hand, if I was to watch someone, I'd like to be acknowledged for it. But on the other hand, I would probably get annoyed if all I received was just a simple "Thanks" times 200... I don't know, I'll figure something out...

Onto the main thing:

Who knows how many days ago, I asked which comic everyone would like to see. The choices were between one comic called "Money Cent", and the other was "Jack and Jome".

The results were a whopping 5 (for Money) to 2 (for J&J)! ...Wow, you guys really jumped on this one between here and DA... Expect the first page in a few days, guys!

And all 8 requests/ trades are well on their way to being done! I gots 2 line arts completed already! :D

OK. So on DevArt, I though I'd get enough input from the people to choose what comic story they'd like to see. Their choices were either "Jack and Jome" (those 2 dog brothers) or "Money Cent" (that weird yellow girl and her friends, including Francine from the few recent Random Comics). Which ever series gets the most votes will have a new storyline started immediately while the other one will have to wait until summer.

So far the vote is tied at a good 2 to 2.

And don't worry, requests/trades are still being done, and are also closed for any new ones as of right now.

I don't know about you, but this (the youtube link above) is one of my most favorite Japanese songs ever! Between the rapping, pop singing, and the old fashion march-type music, there's no part of this song I don't like!

I do have a reason why I'm mentioning it to. It'll be seen in due time (maybe a long time...)

Well my first furry convention, and I gotta say, it wasn't OMFG awesome, but it was fun! And though there are two more days left, my bro and I have to head back to college during the weekend.

What I did:

Looked at art.

Saw a few artists IRL.

Bought some art.

Took a pic or two with some fur suiters (I may post later)

And played Super Smash Bros. Brawl for near 3 hours straight! And pwnd for the most part.

All in all it was an interesting time. I wish I was a little more outgoing, but I didn't know how to handle walking around the art room without feeling guilty for walking away from artists I didn't care all to much to buy from. I know some of their egos gets shot when their table is right across from a more popular artist. Its kinda like FA and DA but IRL... And the page views are money... And the faves are how much cash they get...

I know for certain that I'm gonna hit up more cons over time (and stay longer than a day). Maybe even land myself a table! But I can't get a table if my work isn't worth enough to take home...

I must get better! Its working time!

Oh and Smash Bros, I must become a better player!

Yup yup! I'm goin' to Furry Weekend Atlanta! Fur reals! (see what I did there?)

That's right, only on Friday between sometime after noon, to how knows how long after noon (several hours, given), I shall be there!

I am bringing my trusty sketch book, spare paper, a mechanical pencil, and a GCN controller! If you see me and want me to sketch something for ya, don't be afraid to ask! (like I'm that important...)

How will you spot me (if you even care)? Look for a tall black dude wearing all blue (blue shirt and blue jeans)! No suit, or costume! I should make my own badge, maybe hold a neon sign over my head or something spelling out "DT-Fox".

So my bro,  cj-fox and I just got back from a convention called "Momo-con" in Atlanta, GA.

Lets start with the adventure to.

Just a regular trip, nothing too special, but about 3/4 of the way there, I actually turned the radio to this one station that was playing Saturday Morning Cartoon song intros. We heard Captain Planet, The Tick, TMNT, Power Rangers (first season), and several more. We had a massive dose of nostalgia!

When we got to where we needed to be, he had to find the convention center... That took about 30 minutes... After we got in, we had to wait at a registration line for about 2 hours. Its surprising how many people show up when things are free. Fortunately there was a lot of entertainment to keep us entertained: Karaoke, A LOT of cosplayers of all kind, I brought my DS, and there were people to talk to. Fun, fun!

So soon we got in and got our badges. Not even 2 minutes when we all get in, my brother goes his own way, and CJ and I head to the shop area. A lot of cheaply made goods, yet somehow awesomely made. because a lot of it wasn't officially licensed. Fortunately, I found a few artists and bought a few prints. Some of those artists are even part of Deviant Art! One random person even drew one of my characters for me! In return, I drew one of her characters. In the time it took me to draw her character, she sketched 4 more... [PWND]

There were a few gaming sessions, tournament, and anime watching rooms but I was in and out about that stuff.

Overall we had a fun time, even in if the adventure and wait was longer than the stay itself. I know for sure I'm gonna hit up more cons and next time I may cosplay, for the fun of it! I'd like to go to Furry Weekend Atlanta, but I don't think I'll have to money to get in. Oh well. The year's young. There'll be more cons.

Considering I've always wanted to go to a true blue convention that strikes my interests (and those little military tech conventions don't count), I've been contemplating about Furry Weekend Atlanta. Since I reside in Georgia, FWA is pretty much the closest and probably only convention I'd have access to...

The only problem is that I'm not too sure how to really go about it. Or if its even really worth it. Anyone one willing to give some reasons why it'd be worth going to?

I know its a way to see people IRL compared to just chatting with them on the computer. I also saw that a Smash Bros. play session will be there (thats always more incentive for me). I've also been dying to meet other [semi-local] artists. You'd be surprised how many serious artists I know IRL. Last time I checked: 2 and one of them has yet to get anywhere... I feel I need more reasons.

Also who actually knows they're going to FWA too?

Lastly an I'm recommencing animating "Lv. Up!". Expect something by beginning of summer.

There's more to it, but that sums up the local commercial just saw... WTF?...

So there I was, just sitting in my room staring at my assumed-to-be-broken tablet. I picked it up and see if it there was some chance of making it work again, and to my surprise, it works! It took some bending of the wire and a rubber band or two, but hey it works!

But for how long, I don't know. I just know that for now, I'm back on track! I still intend to get a new one, cause last thing I need is for this one to crap out on me again...

And by done for, I mean its met its maker. By met its maker, I mean its gone. By gone, I mean its broken... It doesn't work.

How did this happen? Well apparently wrapping the USB wire around the tablet for nearly 4 years does a number on it. Especially if that wire controls the power and function of the tablet. But hey, compared to other people's tablets, mine had a good run. I just wish it did more before it broke on me...

So until I can get a new one, digital art (actually any work done by tablet) is on hold, which also means that requests, unfortunately, are on hold... And speaking of a new one, I am starting the new "New Tablet for DT" Fund! I'm kidding... kinda... *cough*shamelessDONATIONplug*cough*
...what? Doesn't hurt to try...

The Adult/Male in me wants to try doing mature art...

Then there's the "moral" vs. the "its not really against my moral"... I mean if I don't have a problem looking at mature stuff, it shouldn't be a problem making it, right? Yet somehow I do...

Its been running around my mind way before my birthday... I did say, I would never draw/submit anything mature until I hit 18. So now what?

Most of my stuff is family friendly (and border lining older teen), and I can't imagine throwing naughty bits on my characters or placing them in "obscure" positions. I would never know if I could do it, unless I tried, but yet something stops me...

I would love another person's thought on this... Anything really. How did you start? Why did you start? Has much good come from it? Was there any downside to it??

So new year means new things! And also means New Years Resolution! But its not about losing weight or getting better grades for me! Its about being productive... Thats right! '09 is the year to dish out more art and better grades!

Money Cent, Fantasy Race, Jack and Jome, Black Stripes, Waves, and most importantly Lv. Up (2 years in the making) and DASH! (one year in the making). So time to get to work, and time to do it big (saying that since November...) But its a new year and a new day, so time to make it work!

If I said I would do full DT-Fox quality pics (character[s], BG, color and all) and only for $3-$5, AND that money would be going towards college funds (books/housing/tuition/food), who would actually jump at the chance?

A simple yes or no would suffice... a full reason why would be even better...

So yeah, I just got out of my college for Holiday break. I've been busy totally not playing Animal Crossing and Smash Bros. Brawl with  CJ-fox. I also had finals (not like I actually studied for those anyway...) Well whether or not I've been wasting time or using it "productively" I can say that I'm "Free" to do art stuff now. And I know I have a good few pics and requests to do...
