Since FurAffinity refuses to fix their file uploading system I will no longer be uploading animations here, since the file uploader ruins them. I sent them a support ticket a long time ago and they said they'd pass the note on to the developers and closed the ticket. Nothing has changed since then.

People tell me FurAffinity has a good commission market, but I've never seen that to be the case, perhaps it's that I don't draw porn. Whatever it is, I get a whole lot more business from deviantART than on FurAffinity. But I'll be leaving this journal here just in case.

Since I'm pretty busy, I'm closing commissions tomorrow. It's your last chance to request something before I'm closed. It might be a couple of months before I'm accepting commissions again.

I'm going to leave my Kya project to a side for a little while so I can advance on other fronts. If you want a commission, now is the time!

I'm casting for extras! If your fursona gets chosen for a role, I'll have a link to your deviantART or FurAffinity page on the submission.

There are countless cat foxes in Kya's world. Only a few of them are relevant to the story, but I do need others to stand in as extras in the background, no name or special role. Only a few of the comic pages take place in somewhere populated by cat foxes, so don't miss your chance. The rest of the comic is generally dominated by humans and the main characters. For now there are about three slots for extras.

If you give me a reference picture of your fursona and a description of their personality, I'll design a cat fox character with your fursona's color patterns to put into the comic when needed.

Rules:

* Must be canid or feline (Dogs, coyotes, foxes, cats, wolves and similar are welcome)
* Can't have too many complicated markings (e.g. cheetah spots)
* Accessories and jewelry on the character can be suggested, but I decide whether I think it's fitting for the comic or not.
* You accept that I have full rights over the comic page that the character is in.

For that last bullet point, I just don't want people telling me where and how I can publish my comic just because I gave them an opportunity to be in it. I will not edit your character out if you change your mind after it's published. Featuring your character in the comic is a favor I am doing for you, I do not want to be taken advantage of. Your character belongs to you, but the comic and the cat fox characters that were based on yours belong to me.

As you might have seen from my latest two submissions, I have a new character. Kya, the cat fox hybrid. This is that art project I'll be putting most of my art time into for the next while. My goal is to create a character that's appealing visually and personality-wise. I also want to give a story and world to go with the character.

Each new submission from this project will reveal new aspects of the character and the world he lives in.

I hope people like it. I want to create something original that people can really like.

There are a two pictures that I can't upload here because the people who requested them are on deviantART and I only submit commissions to the websites the commissioners agree to. Once I'm done those pictures, if I don't have any more commissions to do, I'll be uploading more art here. If somebody from here commissions me I'll be uploading here too.

I've uploaded all the pictures I had, so it's going to be a while before I have something new to show, since I'm working on some commissions. I think I'll be able to upload something next week.
