Next batch of comics
Posted 3 months agoHi, I'm working on a new comic stint with large female in the focus. I've sketched 10 pages in, ready to get to the growy bit. Once I have 15 pages, I might start outlining and publishing the first batches. Would be awesome to color them as well!
But here's the thing... I need this to drive my Patreon income up for the work to make any sense. For this and for any other comic projects.
I'm currently at around 200€ per month, and after taxes maybe 140€, and I know that it's actually pretty fucking generous for faffing about. Especially with (points at everything) the way things are. When I get the ball rolling proper, I would like to post every week, but I'm not getting my time's worth back.
Right now, I'm intrinsically motivated to do the thing, get it out there. But I look at Patreon as the litmus test to how I'm doing, and my last comic did not make any difference at all. Which was a bummer, not going to lie, but maybe it just didn't resonate with people.
I'm not at a financial risk, though, and there are people whose entire livelihood is based on the community. They should come first. But if you would like to support me working on some long form comics, please consider becoming an Eggy!

Commission slots open
Posted 10 months agoSince FA was super supportive with my iPad fund bundle, I'm giving you a heads up... My commission slots are empty.
I don't take these in order, and I do give preferential treatment for clear messages, so do not rush for dibs. Read the TOS.

New submissions
Posted a year agoHallo, you may've seen some new art posted to this channel, and it's because I recently set up PostyBirb to manage my uploads. I probably won't be following the comments too often due to time constraints, and my main focus will be on Patreon, Mastodon and Bluesky in that order.

House cleaning my old art.
Posted 4 years agoAs mentioned on Twitter, I've done some house cleaning in my gallery & moved the very oldies to Gumroad. The link to the Gumroad page has been added to my profile info. The price is, post taxes & transfer fees, you're buying me a cappucino. Two, if you opt for the recommended price. 2D patrons will receive a *significant* discount to the package.
I still encourage you to share & post my past works, even from the Gumroad package (hi-res and all). I will see if I can add new files to the package, so you should get all the updates no extra charge.
The Gumroad package omits all commissioned/trade works. If you are the original commissioner of a piece that you haven't in store, contact me and I'll send it to you.
Over the years I've switched the platform I post on several times, and so far there has never been a place that had all my art in one place. This should fix that, and I hope you can find something new that you haven't seen before in them.
My reason for this is somewhat personal. Besides finances. I feel that my older art don't really represent me today very well, and I felt awkward leaving them out in the open.

2D art Patreon
Posted 5 years agoWell, this is kinda awkward... Hot on the tails from setting a 3D animation Patreon, he now puts up yet another one. He's a lost cause, that.
Seriously though, the 3D patreon was a huge success by any measure! The funds now allow me to use a set of commercial tools w/o worrying too much, and I have the option of purchasing assets to work with. (The mall setup was paid with patreon funds, and it was picked by a poll, for example)
But I also really love the tiny discord community that it spurred. I try to stream my work when I can & voice chat with anyone daring.
So what the fuck am I doing with a 2D art Patreon now?
Well, I kinda noticed that I am currently more incentivized to work on 3D clips and 2D commissions, and my own 2D stuff is getting pushed to the back-seat. Idea was to get those three on equal footing, in a way, if there's support for that.
That, and I like money. Lots and lots of money. (jk)
https://www.patreon.com/user?u=36470819
I've only one tier right now at 1€ per finished piece & I urge people to set their monthly limits. I'm still figuring out where to go with it, but at minimum it should contain sketches and wips I don't normally post.

3D animation Patreon
Posted 5 years agoSo, I'll be dropping a new animation clip in a couple of days, and while working on it I noticed two things... One, it's pretty fun, and two, making these cost a wee bit of money through software licenses, bg assets and other things. I started giving Patreon a serious thought and, well, here it is. My 3D animation Patreon.
https://www.patreon.com/user?u=198021
The fund is set for $6 per published animation clip, so it's not a monthly thing. For reference, the software to do nice clothing simulations costs $50 per month, aand it would be nice if I could, like, split the cost a little? Maybe?
[Edit] It's totally fine to limit the fund to one per month!
The clips will be public as soon as they're done, but I'll keep my Patreon page updated with behind the scenes stuff, like WIPs and other bloopers. You'll basically get a sneak peek at what's coming. I also put up a poll for what kind of thing I should work on next, so there's that also.
And as I mentioned, I'll be uploading a fun little clip with one of my characters in a couple of days -- https://www.furaffinity.net/view/12331178/ if you must know before hand -- so if you want a peek at what's coming / want to see more animated stuff from me, go take a gander. Stop any time you want.
I'll be heading to bed now, and I hope I don't see too much paywall hate in the morning! Take care and wash your hands!
