Posted 11 years agoIt's been a pretty disastrous six months.
Our pipes froze solid for about two weeks in winter. It gave sanitation a really hard time to fix the issue. and it made for a bad plumbing situation and not as clean as they would like to be people. I never felt so grimy in my life.
Then came the ice storm that stripped some of the siding off of the house. The roof was fine but we are still going to have to trench and replace vapor lock around the house. it's not to much of a fun job. I hope that we save our pennies to get a back hoe for the trenching.
For some weird reason the cats decided to chew thru one of the water lines under the sink. It caused profuse flooding in the laundry room. So the water line had to be replaced with copper tubing instead of the nice flexible plastic stuff. Under the house in the crawl space. Scary no lights and the total doomy doom darkness of it all.
Not a lot of people know it, but I am terribly allergic to mold. I get any where near mold spores and i pass out K.O. I'm so done. We found out that the smart intelligent people who first had this house and made the generously huge bathroom in the basement. built it without having treated bathroom dry wall. Why because it's so expensive?! Not really, just an extra dollar per square foot. So we went into the basement to put a fan in the bathroom and opened a wall cavity to find the fabled mushroom kingdom from Super Mario brothers. No I mean really there was no insulation in the walls at all. it was jammed packed with six inches deep in all wall cavities.... MOLD OF RECKONING!
So sorry in the delay about free art...

ARCTIC VORTEX OF DOOM (an update)
Posted 12 years agoI know that i have about 10 free things to give away for the new year
Unfortunately the arctic chill of doom's epicenter is over my house.
The pipes going out of the house have frozen solid not once not twice but three three times! Nasty things had to be cleaned out of the basement. It's not fun. The laundry room smells bad like super bad. And there's more I have ice growing on the inside of my house ! My living room windows have been completely iced over. I'm afraid of touching them in case it shatters the glass. My work has been shut down because the gas line froze .... Yep you heard me right .... Froze. And it has been very difficult to heat the house over 55 degrees. The cell towers have been conked out and internet has been iffy. I think we are over the worst of it... I am so sorry about the delays but it has been crazy around here.

Portrait comissions! and info!

I will be doing portrait commissions of any d&d or larp characters. These will be from the necky bits on up. I can be persuaded into doing a full body portrait but it will be on textured portrait board so finer details may be lost. I wont be doing any adult pieces but I will be happy do do a bit o gore ...who doesn't like catchup?
And in other news I will be doing some little mini chibi comics that include my dungeons and dragons group and my larping buddies! I hope you will enjoy them there will be a coloring contest coming up on the horizon.
