Feeling a bit weird and ranty today. I won't do it here, don't worry. :P I'm just going to apologise in advance, because I'm most likely going to either be a rambling, sobbing mess, or really snippy and mean. So... my advice would be to avoid me for the next few days.

Newcastle Fur Meet 4th April '10 :)
General | Posted 15 years agoOkay, well I just wanted to write a little bit about the first big-ish fur meet I've ever been to. :) I went to the York at meet of course but it was only little so.. ;)
If I'm honest it wasn't at all what I expected, although in a way it was exactly what I expected. And I can't really explain it (yay for effective communication through text! English Literature student... geez...).
We got kicked out of one place for a reason I couldn't quite fathom, apparently it was because we smelled bad but that can't possibly be true, could it? o-o Apparently we're going to buy the place when it shuts down and turn it into a fur bar, which will of course be a ripping success. :) Chin chin.
So then after that (I'm skipping over the quiz because we didn't win, not that I'm bitter or anything... -grumble.-) we headed to Twist. Haven't been there for a long time. Not since I used to go with my friends when we went down the pink triangle all the time. And then I decided that being around gay people made me feel shit about myself (and worse still, single) so I stopped going and became a hermit, peddling my wares across cyberspace like some sort of internet... thing... seller. o-o;
That being said i haven't made anything to sell for a while. Hopefully I'll get better at drawing and become an artist. If not I'll have to fall back on the translation career-plan.
Ugh. A career.

Anyway. As I was saying, the meet was awesome and I met lots of awesome people. :) I'm hoping to go to the next one. Woo hoo. :)
