Anime Convention Thing!
General | Posted 15 years agoOkay, so on Saturday I was catching up with a friend, and he mentioned in May, that he's going to some Anime Convention over in Idaho. I cannot recall the name but eh. D: I'm kinda looking over my favorite anime again to maybe get a cosplay idea, it may be a slight requirement with going with him. XD Things to keep in mind are I have to wear my glasses for vision issues, and I will not dye my hair, so you're stuck with blackish more brown. XD I pondered Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist, but we shall see.
ANYWAY, I just wanted to see if any furs are going to this convention. I still have to see if it fits in with my schedule for possible plans in May, and I'm sorry I don't have the city name or con name, nor the exact time of it, but yeah. D: I'll get more details this week.

News, disgruntlement, and weather!

Anyway, so a few updates and such. I had a second computer in the house, thankfully. My brother (Currently in the Navy, he's coming home for 2 weeks in about 2 weeks) used to play WoW and SC2 and stuff on it, so I just snatched it up and got to where I can like it. I think the same bug is in his computer, but it doesn't seem to be triggering, so I'm thankful. I really need to save up for a new PC. ;_;
As far as my last journal, I won't say I'm SORRY about what I said, but I apologize for being an asshole regardless. Bad moods are bad, yo.
KINECT: This lovely piece of technology that came out hasn't grabbed my attention much, sure a new Riders game is on it and I'm tempted to get it, but that isn't enough motive, though this other Furry Racing Game is sorta! It's called Adrenalin Misfits, and it looks kinda neat. I just wish it was a normal console port, not a Kinect only game. ;_; The reason being is this: My sister wants a Kinect too for... ugh... a dancing game (KILL ME!). There are several problems with this. ONE: My Xbox would need to move out of my room, which means all my fun Party Chats full of gay furry comments and such would have to stop, and no more Photo Parties either. TWO: I'd have to constantly switch from my bedroom to going all the way upstairs to sit down on that annoying ass leather couch to game. (I hate leather furniture) THREE: I only have a 20GB Drive, which only has 2GB left, so I would need a memory upgrade, in which case I would want a 250GB, pricey. FOUR: There is no active LAN cable up to the main room. So I would have to spend a few hours rerouting all the cables, which just isn't fun. FIVE: I know I'm not using a lot right NOW, but between now and March, I know I'm getting like, 3 new games that'll be keeping me busy. SIX: I don't want to play on a super active thing like the kinect, so that when I jump, I fear like, being on Wood and not Concrete (both carpeted, but even though houses are sturdy and people do it all the time, all that jumping would not be good), PLUS the dogs we have could cause problems by interfering with gaming and just being an outright pain in my ass. SEVEN: Last item, and that is timing. I am awake at odd hours sometimes, and I don't need to be wanting to play Xbox at 2am when I know it'll wake up my mother or sister, and then OH LOOK now it's my fault. :I
Anyway yeah, lookit all my ranting BS. XD Uh, also on that fact, not to say it's sad or anything but good god. D: I'm 21, still with my folks, recently got moved into the basement and yeah... WHY AM I SO STEREOTYPED NOW? D:
Also, snow, we've got some, and ice. Thank god for like, 5 years of experience in this weather. :3

The computer is basically dead. I cannot tell if it's a virus, or my Harddrive. I just... I barely get lucky to get logged in sometimes, and that only last for a few minutes before BOOM, it freezes up. It sometimes tells me my Win32 has stopped working, gives me that error send report thing. So ugh, I'm basically just naming that computer dead for now. :I I can probly get a new external drive and see if that helps, but then I have to wonder if it's a virus. I'm not computer savvy eenough to know, it seems. So I'm gonna by a typical person and go "Oh, my computer isn't working, time for a new one!"
Now keep in mind these factors as well: This computer is about 6 or so years old, I've had it since like, High School. My dad bought it for me and tricked me into thinking it was for my mom, had me set it up in my own room to make sureit'd work and such, and then BAM "Hey, this is your PC, BTW." XD Got me good there. Also, this is like, the 6th or so time this computer has been inflicted by a deadly virus. I almost lost my computer every time. My dad was around during those times, right now he's in... Dubei? Somewhere up there in Afghanistan. So yeah, even Emailing him has proved to be kinda useless. I tried a bunch of typical processes to. my scanner finds a Tracing Virus (I delete it but it keeps coming back, and yes, I mean I find the folder/item and remove it physically) and it just won't quit. I also did the Safe Mode thing and tried to System Restore SEVERAL times, each time failing, which also sucks ass. So I think I've done just about everything except that wiping idea. Where you completely revert the computer to scratch? I don't have an OS disc or CD Key soooo that wouldn't help at all.
So there ya go, about everything I can do is done, I think. I'm getting a laptop tomorrow, not as effective, but I won't say no to a sale on such a decent/good piece of machinery. :3 I'll look into some externals but honestly, this computer is probly not worth saving. Everything important is backed up to an external Harddrive, so I can just put all that onto my new Laptop and carry on.
So there ya go. Also, Happy Thanksgiving and Black Friday, all!

I don't know what I did, but I was notified by someone they were getting odd MSN messages from me, I located the file through a scan, deleted that, and it still persisted. So I tried the safe mode system restore, several different times and dates, and none of them are working. The computer locks up after a few moments, and I have to use Task Manager to force the programs to start and enable my taskbar and programs on the Desktop. I am at a loss of what else I can do. I don't know if it's the computer, a program, or a virus, and with it locking up I can't really check. Any ideas?
I'm using a seperate computer that isn't mind to do this, so yeah. I'm gonna go crazy here soon without my own computer to use and such. I backed up all my files and such to an External Hardrive, so it's okay, but I can't get the system restore to work, and I don't have a new OS disc (Nor the money for one), and lack the knowhow to even scratch my computer. But if I could, I just might. I really want to save my PC though!

1. This is technically not possible but: A lover of sorts. Call me corny or whatever but really, I need someone who shares my interests and wants to be all cuddly and stuff. Then again why make such a wish when you yourself are a picky sunnvagun? XD
2. Art. <3 You people should know me by now, a quick way to cheer me right up and whatnot is art. Anthing with Duez and like, any of those blasted characters on my massive list makes me happy. <3 Mainly Cheshy though.
3. Speaking of Cheshy. MEETING SHAWN KELLER. Even if it means having him crush my fantasy and stuff, meeting the guy would rock so hard. :3 If he told me to back off I would, but otherwise like, yeah. Shit, even an E-mail!
4. New vehicle. This is more of a long term thing, since I'm smart, and know how hard it is to pay off a new car, and insure it at the same time. :I My tiny truck is half dead and I'm borrowing a family vehicle, so yeah, having my own, nice and new car would be nice, but let's be real here. 8D
5. Forgiveness and amends. Something that won't happen from some people. I understand I guess, but seriously, if they would just talk to me and make me feel better about certain things, maybe I'd be less of a drama whore.
6. DVD sets of my favorite shows. There's a lot to list but like Men in Black the Series was one I was really looking into, Angry Beavers I would LOVE. I can't really say many others, so hard to constantly recall them all. XD
7. Plane tickets to Cons. The one reason I can NEVER get to a convention is I live in Montana, this is like, the worst location for convention trips. I have to basically FLY to every one of them, and that's kinda all I wanna do as well. So yeah, if ever I gather up like a donation fund or something, I can pay for everything else, just never a flight. XD
That's kinda it really. I don't like Christmas very much to be honest. I love it as a holiday and how it gives people time off usually and like, yeah. But it's slowly become a more and more depressing holiday for me. I live like, 1500 Miles away from my larger portion of family, but I'm very detached from them so it doesn't matter. I don't really share the holiday with anyone much, and gift giving is cool and all, but I'm an adult with a job. It kills a LOT of things for ya. XD So in the long run, while I'm trying to make myself financially stable (commissions are too fun to pass up, I know childish), art is kinda all I'm really like, shooting out to people here. XD

Princes and the Frog (WAY LATE)
General | Posted 15 years agoSo I finally saw this movie, only by chance that i was up this late and my satellite was set to record something a family member wanted, and this was right after.
So I'm gonna cover my thoughts on this movie and whatnot. So SPOILERS AHEAD if you haven't seen this movie.
Firstly, WOW, that fucking gator (Louis, taken from the name Louie, that famous trumpet player from, GASP, NEW ORLEANS! 8D), he's hardcore gay. That scene with the prickly things, OMG HIS ASS AND TAILWAG. I adored it and at the same time went "Wow, really Disney?". Secondly, ending is bullshit, I'm sorry. I know it;s to get a moral across, but that's actually not what I'm mad about. I'm mad about Ray. he was SQUASHED... Fucking shows up 10 minutes later just dying... NO, unacceptable! Plus they just re-arranged the anatomy of the STARS with his death... yeah fuck that. Ray was a cool character until that BS happened.
Now my ranting aside a good movie. I thought I'd hate it but well, the animals as usual from Disney, attracted me into it, the songs were very nice really, and the playout of the movie and story is well done. Also of course, I was GLAD as fuck to see a 2D drawn out movie, none of this new 3D bullshit. You'll hear more about that after I see some upcoming movies like Kung Fu Panda 2 or something.
Anyway, interesting movie, probly gonna try for art of the gator, but I think Kahmari already has that covered, and that's just territory I dare not tread in. XD Oh well, yeah, there ya go.

Mood and Travel!

Anyway, TRAVEL! This is actually about TWO things.
One: This Saturday, the 5th, I'll be up In Bozeman, I notified several furs who look like they can hang, so yay, hopefully there's a day of fun there. If someone offer some a room for the night, I can hang out for TWO days 8D
Secondly, Further Confusion. I want to go, meet some friends, blah blah blah. PROBLEM is that I have not the money for the plane ticket. I can easily pay for a room and maybe get food and stuff, but a plane ticket just costs WAY too much. D: Plus I still need to FIND a room. XD Ugh I'm ill-prepared again.

I'm going day by day just to DO so. No real purpose in my days. Not being EMO or anything that follows that, just depressed and bored.
And for no reason really. I've been so out of loops lately. I didn't even KNOW Necrodrone had moved to Bozeman among other things that have happened recently. Missing cons, not hanging out with many people, ugh it's all so dull and I'm just missing out. D:
Oh well, such is my torture. XD
Anyway, bullshit aside, how was Halloween for everyone? I did NOTHING. Except remove a carpet from the main room since we're getting new stuff... yay.

General | Posted 15 years agoToday aside from some WarHammer 40K thoughts, i ran across the idea of trying SecondLife again.
The problems I have are the first people to help me COMPLETELY ditched me 10 minutes in, and I really just do not want to deal with a lot of the PAYING BS, but to get a good model I might pay ONCE.
The only reasons I'd join SL are: Renamon, yeah, typical. Cheshire Cat model; I heard a rumor there was one on their roaming around the resembles a certain you-know-who, and I wanna find them. Also some of the avian models and other cats are alright. I will admit I'd like to try to make a small group a friends and maybe some sort of lover, but mainly I just wanna have some fun. The problems I have are the first people to help me COMPLETELY ditched me 10 minutes in, and I really just do not want to deal with a lot of the PAYING BS, but to get a good model I might pay ONCE.
The only reasons I'd join SL are: Renamon, yeah, typical. Cheshire Cat model; I heard a rumor there was one on their roaming around the resembles a certain you-know-who, and I wanna find them. Also some of the avian models and other cats are alright. I will admit I'd like to try to make a small group a friends and maybe some sort of lover, but mainly I just wanna have some fun. Obviously picking that one up, and I RENTED Fallout New Vegas, and am SO glad I did. I'm sorry the game is just... abysmal for me. I'm not saying it's BAD, but for ME it's just alllll wrong. Borderlands is my Fallout. XD More fun, kinda crazier and such, but has more lovable characters to it and the guns are fun to get while in Fallout, I can never get far enough to ever have fun and just scream and growl at the game. So yeah, I tried it, it's Fallout 3... you can't say it isn't. Sure it's different, sure it may have different equipment... but it's still like, 70% based on Fallout 3.
I know there was some other games I was looking at, like Crysis 2 and something else... D:
And lastly, a small nag to some artists: Get yer shit together guys. D: Most of you on my list are fine, you've told me of the situation, but some of you have made promises and still I'm waiting. XD I don't wanna pest but well, NYAH! Also getting artists to draw a Wereskag is like, impossible.

Honestly it's hard to say, I'm actually NOT going to finish this one because I feel like I'm picking favorites, and I can't really say like "OMG this person and this person". In other news, BORDERLANDS! I mentioned I purchased a copy yesterday and such, and I was talking to someone about an idear I had. I LOVE the Wereskags from the Dr. Ned's Zombie Island DLC, and wanted to get like, Duez as a Soilder (my class), with a Wereskag (Hank Reiss or the Priest), and the normal Claptrap (INAC). One is porny where Duez is just banging away at the Wereskag while CT films it, the other would be clean, just them strolling along, Duez with a Shotgun of choice, CT with a Revolver, and the Wereskag just gunless, I guess. 8D (It's also possible that I may just make up my own CT and FEMALE Wereskag for these ideas) So, any artists thinking they can do it? :3

SO! I totally remembered I once bought something YEARS ago for Warhammer, one of those Battle for Macragge things, and I found it! Along with some random Chaos Space Marine crap my brother bought. So yeah! I like, have some army stuff for Space Marines already, YES! Less money spending, I hope. I'm still kinda seeing where I'm going with this but yeah, good start is good. Anyway, WARHAMMER!
So the guy I wanted to talk to was not there, but thankfully there are online Codex I can read, and my good friend gave me helpful advice. So I'm thinking of ditching just about everything I spoke of (Except for Daemonhunters, still love them and their Vindicare Sniper), and am actually probably going to go with Dark Angels. I did not originally KNOW of these guys, not sure how I missed them. They meet a LOT of my standards are aren't technically SPACE MARINES (But they kinda are too, the Codex is weird about it), and they have a cool Green color scheme, plus they can still use a Predator and Snipers and stuff. Essentially these are guys I like more for their colors, abilities, and difference from the Space Marines, while still having many qualities that I LIKE from Space Marines. Also they have cool normal longsword and stuff (Which are Power Weapons, apparently), and the Codex actually covers like 90% proof that i can run the army I want! XD So these guys are definitely looking like a great start for me. Eagerly considering it.

Anyway, following up my last journal I have come to some realizations:
I actually don't want Witch Hunters, there were only 2 I was looking at initially. Daemonhunters are... still fucking cool but will just flat out NOT work in normal gameplay the way I want them too, and I can't quite make my own army out of them. Apparently people bitch when you use them. I'm still trying to remain strictly No Space Marine starter. Equipment, tanks, shit like that is fine! Just not the Space Marines themselves, except a select handful!
I did some thinking and realized "Okay, so I like the long range fighting, like the tanks, and think spears are supercool, certain swords as well. Plus technology impresses me and I love alien/animalistic species."
With these in mind I have SOME options. One: Stick to Space Wolves, use certain tanks since I learned you CAN do that if prepped right (Mainly interested in a Predator), maybe mix in some Space Marine Snipers, and I'm curious, but can I use like, 1 - 3 Vindicare Snipers? Two: Go Eldar, they meet a lot of my desires and some of them have badass wings! I hate their tanks, but I'll deal with it if need be. Have some nice Snipers and good longer range stuff, plus lots of spears! Three: Tau, this one I do not count really because YES they have cool ranged units, but again their tanks make me gag and although all those XV robos are cool and shit, something just irks me about them, I dunno what it is! Maybe just everyone else runs them or something? D:
Now you'll notice I didn't label the Imperial Guard. NO. These are silly basic humans with silly looking tanks. Yes they have a great abundance of them but it just feels silly to run them. I also will note that yes, I realize Space Wolves are better for closer combat, but I figure using a Predator and like, two Sniper teams would balance it well, assuming this all works together. I still have a HEAVY interest in the Daemonhunters, but I only want like, a small group of them, so maybe later on I'll just set like, 10 or so units of them aside and use them when they are labeled for proper use, I dunno.
So yeah, still got a few days to ponder on it, either way it's win/win for me. I can waste like, 200 bucks when I have it and get started and try to have fun, or just watch them play and save that 200. Either way I'm indifferent but I'd be a little bummed if I didn't play.

General | Posted 15 years agoApparently that's what this is called. Warhammer 40,000! (The board stuff, not the video games) Costing at least 200 dollars to get a good start, yes, I am interested! I've been trying to do all my research and such and I've been narrowing my army ideas best I can and I've come to this, and also need assistance! I know there have got to be lots of furs who plays this, even just for fun, so I was hoping someone could help me out. I'll eventually go buy the Codex's I need, but for now this is what I was pondering:
I do not want Space Marines, too COMMON, BUT I was willing to go with Space WOLVES, they look more fun and can apparently use select Space Marine units I guess dependent on your army so like ,I want to use a Predator with them, among other tank units, so I need to know how that works, since I'm told they usually don't LIKE tanks. I also want to use those Daemonhunter guys, but they don't have a STARTER thing, so like I read somewhere that because of them being part of that Inquisition thing, they can possibly be used WITH Space Wolves, which would work perfect for me if true. Along with them there were some Witch Hunters (Also Inquisition, as I read), so like, I really just need help defining what can and cannot work together, and what I could do to make an optimal, but still fun army. :3
Basically, I'm looking at HEAVY firepower (Predator, some of the HEAVY With Hunter units, and certain Grey Knights from Daemonhunters) and just anything that isn't technically human. Space Wolves are hybrids, the With Hunters I let pass due to badass guns, and Grey Knight sand such wear armor over their faces usually, so they look cool (Mainly Terminators), and I really just don't mind them with their badass spears and guns. :3
So any assistance is appreciated, and if it looks like everything I want to do actually would work, than perfect. XD I'll be picking up the Space Wolves starter and Codex probably next week or something, unsure.

Hi anyone who cares, this is not an emo journal or a "OH GOD HELP ME" journal, just kind of an update and warning.
Despite my deep love to commission people, aside from what i owe now, I may need to stop again. I overheard my boss mentioning that there may need to be payroll cuts, which would be REALLY bad for me, but not the end of the world.
So I'm gonna start looking for another job, JUST in case, but i doubt I'll get anything, since nowadays you need a damned COLLEGE degree to get one... I miss the good old days of just needing that High School Diploma. D:
So yeah, I'll know by Friday, I still need to pay whomever is still on my list and whatever I have on the side, and after that i need to like, punch myself when I see a commission offer. XD Hopefully I can find something though. With Pokemon 5th gen releasing soon, and Black ops and shit, i need money for dem games and fanart for Pokemon! D:

Art Diet!
General | Posted 15 years agoBecause I am so stupid with holding my money and stuff, after these few commissions I have left to pay, I need to force myself to stay. I may try for some silly 5 or 10 dollar sketches that artists may offer, but otherwise I need to pull out of the commissioning game. XD Looking at my life it's like ,impossible for me to get a car, move out, go to any cons, really do much of anything due to my addiction and hobby of commissioning. Thankfully I've gotten a LOT of my ideas doodled up, so it's not all bad.
Not to mention with all these upcoming games and that fancy 3DS coming out, yeah, needs some money for them. Halo: Reach comes out in a week, pre-ordered Limited, Black Ops in November, pre-ordered the Prestige, may knock it down though, unsure. May get that new Medal of Honor as well, and then you have other games as well that I can't recall right away. I will say that I DID waste my money on Other M. I'm not a Metroid person and though the game can be fun, it isn't for me, so I just flushed away like, 40 or so bucks. XD I could try to trade it in, but knowing Gamestop... yeah.
Otherwise yeah, this is mainly just me needing to grow up a bit and stop wasting my money on epic art pieces since the real world is kicking in and I need money to survive in it. Doesn't help my internet costs me like, 67 bucks a month. CRAZY. D: I'll be canceling my truck insurance though since the truck is dead. It won't shift into 3rd or 4th gear. Musta killed the tranny or something.
Anyway, yeah, finishing up what I have due, then I kind of have to cut back to tiny sketches every once in a while, and gift art that never actually happens. XD

Anyway, I ordered the first 5 volumes of Hamtaro watched 'em all last night except the 5th, and like yeah, love that show. Need more DVDs! I'll even take VHS!
On another note, I've got bad sleeping habits. I'm slowly trying to work back into a normal schedule, but ugh, 5 am before an 8am work shift, yeah, fucked up pretty bad. XD Thankfully I can usually recover from the lateness, but it's still looking bad on me.

Also found more people to draw characters I like, so like, YES, thank god I nearly have everyone on the list drawn now. 8D
