Posted 3 years agoRegarding the previous journal, the site seems back to normal now. I may have overreacted, But I still don't like what happened, not one bit.
I'm opening my discord to make sure I'm not relying on FA to get commissions and grow my community. I would've opened it anyway, I just wasn't ready just yet, but those recent developments got me shaking in my boots.

Bot attacks
Posted 3 years agoFA is going through something right now. Submissions at random are being hit with comments by bot accounts with gory graphic images, and I just experienced it.
I love this site for the opportunities it gave me and the people I've met, so I don't want to jump ship too soon, but I might have to if things stay like this.
I'll wait for the site to address this again and hopefully fix it, but in the meantime I'll open my discord for the people that watch me here, just in case the worst happens and I have to deactivate this page. I'll set up the discord link tomorrow.

Posted 3 years agoMy friend is opening commissions! He's not a furry artist, but he's got a pretty unique style and affordable prices. Maybe y'all can show him the same love I got when I first started out here.
I wanna let my artist friends know furries are the best clients there is! Just order something in his field of expertise if you do decide to help, no horny lol

I'll open commissions again in a couple days and I just wanted to give out some advice for potential costumers and friends.
First, I don't want you to break the bank to get a piece from me, or from anyone else for that matter lol. My prices are affordable, yet I've had a couple people commission me and later have to deal with and unexpected and more urgent expense. I'll take some responsibility if I take too long to charge for a piece and your financial situation changes, but as a general rule you should always have a hefty reserve for emergencies, especially if you have a good enough income to afford commissions regularly. This is just good financial advice for anyone really.
The second is a bit of a pet peeve of mine, and other artists might think differently.
I love when clients get to the point. If you just wanna know how my day's been, I'll be happy to answer. But if you have a business inquiry, an idea for a future or ongoing piece, or you just want a wip from your current com, just get that out of the way first. It's not rude, it's efficient!

So all this dick drawing finally cought up to me and got me in trouble with my family.
I'm leaving the community, probably for good, and deleting this page in a week. This journal will stay up until then.
I'll keep making regular art, just can't be associated with furries anymore. If yall wanna see that, or commission me for sfw stuff, my discord and ig is up there in my bio, or follow my ,currently empty, twitter: @lslima98, I'll be posting there soon. Bonus points if you like warhammer, I'll take commissions of that anyday.

Realized I didn't celebrate at 100, but this milestone is as good as any.
Thank you for enjoying my work! I'm the kind of artist to just pop my head out once in a while, do my job and go back into my cave. But I'm looking to interact more with whatever audience I end up getting here.

So I was in deviantart the other day, wich I don't use anymore, and I found out there was another Dupllo there. Their account is just a bit older than mine, so I guess it was my fault for not researching properly before deciding on it.
So, just letting people know, that ain't me. I would change my username but you can't do that on FA -_-
I talked to them about it and they don't mind me using this name so I'll keep it for a while and maybe someday I'll make another account.
