Posted 13 years agoGot to bounce around as Jazzer during the parade, along with redlynx as his jackalope. Need to get a bigger badge explaining that Jazzer is a ferret though; had one person calling me a "Polar bear thingy?"

Posted 13 years agoAfter a somewhat pudgy introduction at Further Confusion 2012, Jazzer Ferret will be attending Rainfurrest this September to show off his new slimmer physique. :)
The difference should be pretty significant. I had a waist size of 34" back in January, and Jazzer's waist was closer to 38", so I had 4" thick foam stuffed in front from chest down to legs to keep the costume from being ridiculously baggy. So all along, I've planned on trimming him down. But since then, I've also lost weight myself, down to waist 30... so yeeeeeah.
Look for the more ferret-proportioned albino ferret at this year's RF. :)

New account and new fursuit
Posted 14 years ago4 years ago I created an account on FA with another name that few people knew me by, planning to do something with it and then never acting on that intent. <.< >.> o.o
So, new year, new account... and new costume! I premiered Jazzer, an albino ferret, at Further Confusion 2012. Made by mixedcandy, Jazzer the Ferret is soft, cuddly, and toony (mascot-like), which is very different from the realistic, prosthetic design of Durin. He is a lot more visible and photogenic in crowds where "realistic" characters like Durin are easily obscured by the bulk of other fursuits.
