Very sporadic indeed, aren't they?
I really don't look here on FA that often. There's some great art and all, but I just don't have enough connections right now that keep my eye on the site. That's all.
I'm always up for making more friends, but that's difficult at times. Being an introvert is painful. :/

Anyhoo. Still no tablet replacement. Much sadness there. One of these days I'll get a hold of one that actually works as intended and isn't old as dirt (or the drivers, for that matter).
We'll see what happens.

I've written shit here like 5 times now and deleted it because each post was a big mess of anger, sadness, grief or what-have-you. It gets tiring when you want to express yourself but you don't know how, and on top of that... being reminded that 'Hey, you don't have many friends that would care to read that anyway'.

So I'll just change the gears on this message and say this.

It's just me being somewhere else, just as active. That's all.
My journey has simply led me to do other stuff. I'm still around though.

So some of my friends have expressed a concern about my lack of coloring in recent months and I'll touch base on that real quick, since someone poked me about it today and I just felt like getting it out in the open.
To put it simply, I just don't have the drive right now to color and there's no push to do it from other sources (I have admitted to needing a helping hand, with little/no help offered), plus I have made no money on it and my passions have leaned elsewhere... which is streaming gameplay on Twitch and intentions to get my youtube channel dusted off. Plus getting followers on those two places.
Plus there is of course my job hunting which has taken priority over everything else.
This isn't to say that my interest in coloring is gone though. Far from, in-fact. I love coloring and I would pick it back up if I could make something off of it and I didn't have so much on my plate already.
I hope that makes it pretty clear, but folks are welcome to inquire specifics as long as it's not something I would say "That's too personal, sorry I cannot answer that" to.
For those wishing to help me, you can inquire about that too. I could do with a few things, like access to a decent video editing program because the one I have is trash (for use on my YouTube channel) and tips/guidance in learning to really make things stand out. One of the biggest things folks could do is helping me get my name out there for my Twitch and Youtube channels, plus everyone's welcome to add me on Twitter for announcements about my streams, videos and life in progress (and shenanigans/jokes)!

Yup, you heard it right.
I will be streaming as I normally do, but I got early access so I will be playing the Heavensward expansion a few days earlier than those that did not pre-order. If you wanna see some of the new features, storyline and content then come on over to my stream tomorrow while my Miqo'te learns what truly waits for her beyond the Gates of Judgement.

Yup. Another year added to my age, another year on this planet.
I know I won't get a party or anything fancy happening, but at least my home isn't populated by shitbirds anymore, so that's a plus this year.

They say that when you blow out your candles, to make a wish. Well I have no candles, nor cake (that I'm aware of), but I'll make a wish out loud even if that goes against the 'rules'.

I wish that during this next year of my life I meet lots of people and make lots of friends. Maybe find some romantic involvement that doesn't lead into bullshit and fantasy.
That's my big wish. I know the romance thing is a bit cliche but even a realist can have their wishful thinking.

My hopes/goals for this next year of my life would be...
- Doing more coloring and maybe getting some attention from other artists. Maybe I can get to the point this year that people want to commission me? That would be pretty cool.
- Get more work done on my game LP's. Goodness knows there are people that love when I freak out in games or bust out the hardcore MLP moves in either videos or livestreams. *lol*


Thank you to those of you that have already wished me a happy nameday. To me it's just another day because most of the years for the last ten, my nameday has been ruined, uneventful or otherwise left me upset/crying, hating the day and/or going to bed early to make it go away sooner. So the start of mine was garbage but I'll spare the explanation.

Resolutions. I'm not big into them because the majority of the human race forgets the kinder phrase 'Don't make promises you can't keep' and either aims too high with their resolutions, makes nonsensical ones or ones they are so unlikely to keep they may as well has had the cake in their mouth when they said 'I'll eat less fatty foods from now on'. Most resolutions are bogus or are never kept, but some are.
Most people forget that resolutions are not some huge thing that you should make once a year and then half-ass it. They're things you do to help you become a better person and while you should resolve to be a better person more often than once a year, at least we have a day for it I guess. >_>
Just like Christmas. The one day a year where we're 'supposed' to be nice to one another while the rest of the year people are total assholes. Right.
Anyway... I made a resolution (promise) to someone special but all other resolutions I may have had are simply goals that are being worked on even now. :)

I made a resolution last year and I've been unfortunately falling away from it. Thankfully I have an excuse as to why and that's because of work kicking my ass, so hey, at least I was being productive in an important area of my life at the time.
The unfortunate part about my job is it's taxing on me as well as hits a key area on me that's vital to my coloring and learning. My wrist. It's been either in pain or stiff as steel, but I'm going to be getting back to coloring soon.
I would really like to get another one of those 'One Per Week Coloring Event' things going again and have more people in line for it too. Here's to hoping, right? I know part of my problem is the lack of advertising, but hopefully folks will help me out in that area. (You're welcome to take that as a hint or not when the time comes around, your call :P)

Onto the job area. Been working at Toy's R Us during nightshift (10p-6a) for a shit wage (minimum wage) and shit hours. I'll be honest with you all, it's a shit job. I unload trucks, sort, spot, unpack, stock, break down boxes, put shit back that doesn't fit, flex shelves, tag, etc etc. You get the gist, especially if you work(ed) a job similar to it. It's been murder on my legs and feet and my right wrist. My nightcrew manager commonly has a burr up his ass and has already put his hands on me once wrongly, but as everyone tells me... "It's a job". I'm hoping I don't get cut out come next week and that I get some hours too. Sadly this whole week I have no hours because, well, the ass-kissers got the hours and I didn't. Surprise surprise. ~shrug~ But as long as I keep the job, it's a job and I can find another one with better pay. Seriously.. minimum wage to make kids' dreams come true. Even the nightcrew job I had at King Soopers paid more (9.13/hr) despite having to deal with incompetent and biased management that went all the way up to the store manager who was a total cunt. Come on R-Us, pay your night crew a little more. We bust our asses and REALLY busted it out during the holidays, lemme tell you! ... ~quietly stops rant, wanders off to new topic before this continues~ >_>;;

Life. I would like to enjoy mine a bit more. Make more friends, get out more. I'm terribly introverted and it's hard to step out of my comfort zone. I would like to get into more groups. Get to know more people. Interact more. I would also like help in these areas. It's an honest request for help, should anyone want to take my hand and help me out. Thanks if you do.

Games - This will continue of course, though I need to get more advertising on my hitbox channel. It's in need of some boost to the follower base.
Art - This will continue but when the mood strikes and my wrist is being nice... or I've consumed enough alcohol to nullify some of the pain, or I've had a few puffs of maryjane.

Oh, well I wanted to say this.
I had a really bad start to my new year, so if I come off as cold please accept this pre-emptive apology and let me assure you it's not personal or intentional. I will warm up again as soon as my emotions balance back out and be back to my cuddly self.

Oh yes and one other thing. Since I work graveyard hours, I live on graveyard hours too. Mostly. My streams will be on nights I'm not working and will be evenings, late evenings, early and late mornings tops. I sleep late morning, afternoon and sometimes early evening if I'm really exhausted, to I won't be around during most of the daylight hours until my work hours change, and that won't happen unless, most likely, I get a different job somewhere else.


I can't think of anything else at this time, so ... there's the news.

I'll be spending mine alone most likely, not so much by choice but just because of the situation. I have the rest of the week off from work though so I get to relax at least. ~shrugs~

I don't really pay much heed to most holidays anymore given my small circle of friends & begrudging lack of family. On some of them I do still remind myself that despite what I'm dealing with at the time or whatever depression may sweep over me for a time, I do have things to be thankful for, even if they are in small amount.

I am thankful for the friends I have.
They help me along, they make me laugh and share smiles with me.


I am thankful for my pets who stand by me and remind me every day that I am loved and wanted, knees on the ground and chins up with a smile on their faces.
They see me as a strong man/woman (depending on my fluidity that day) that would be there to protect, nurture and teach them and one or two may see me as someone magnificent or more. They also realize that I am just as capable of breaking down, falling apart and making mistakes as they are, but are there for me as a pet, friend and lover would. Being a master and pet/submissive is not about ruling or being ruled and nothing else. It's about being together, learning from one another, growing with one another and being there for one another through thick and thin. Sure it means kinky times, sexy times or even times of discipline, but to me and any that bear my collar, we know where this all beats from. ~pats her chest over her heart~ It comes from here. My pets are my loves. They are all part of my heart.


Unfortunately at this time I have no-one in position as my mates so I cannot say I have anything to be thankful for there, though I do have a few under consideration for that. For them though I am thankful.
A mate to me is someone unlike the typical 'mate' you find int he fandom. Too often I see furrys go on about how they got a mate or how they lost one, or how they are woe to be for not having one, or suddenly get one, or that one lasted only a week.. etc etc. These are not mates, these are flings with others thrown under a title header that it's not meant to be under due to misconstruing the truer meaning through the fandom, and those that actually see it know this to be true. The word 'Mate' has lost a lot of its meaning on average in the community.
To me a 'Mate' is someone you love truly. You wish to share your life with that person, learn about them, grow with them. You wish to be as close as two people can be. Your stomach flutters and your heart skips a beat when they smile. When they cry, you feel their pain and hug onto them so that you might protect them from what which pains them so. You might hold their hand in public and care not what others think or say about you, no matter what you two are with one another. Straight or gay, it doesn't matter. Maybe one or both of you is a trans, post or pre-op. Maybe in a wheelchair. Maybe you have a synthetic limb. Maybe by the cultural standards you are not what many would perceive as beautiful physically. Maybe you're a dwarf. Maybe one of you is ten feet tall! IT DOES NOT MATTER! You are in love with the other, just as they are with you.

Either way. For those I am considering for mate-ship, I am thankful.

I have a job and for that I am thankful. They pay me shit wages, the hours suck and are few and far between, but it's a job at least and I can get something better soon, I hope. But still, I am thankful.

I am thankful for hitting 30 and still being alive, even if I suffer some things that make my life difficult or uncomfortable.
There was a time in my 20's I figured I wouldn't make it to 30, but here I am.


Otherwise though, the list of bad has been outweighing the good and Thanksgiving has been ruined for me. There is no turkey. There is no table of family and friends. No laughter. No merriment. No clean house.
In the end I am a realist. Today is ruined but tomorrow may bring about something better. You never know.
At least for the rest of the night I have vodka.

Oh, and two things to quickly mention.
#1: I don't know what was going on when I was trying to color some of MBR's stuff that he sent me but the only conclusion I can come to is that SAI was being buggy and a meanie head. Or something. Either way, yesterday I fiddled around with it again and got it to let me color under the lines. I'll be working on his art sometime soon! :)
#2: I will be finding another date for my 'Free Coloring' event again. Not sure when but I would love to do it again. I had two very satisfied friends when I sent them their pieces and would love to bring some more smiles to others as well as get in the practice and work on my ... something. The English language evaded me, stupid headache.

Basically my tablet and the drivers are both being complete cunts. I look at this tablet and the urge to yell and hurt its feelings are painfully high. Too bad it's inanimate. >_>
I'm kidding. It is still a cunt though.
Everytime I try to fix the drivers, it comes up with a message something about how I have to reinstall the drivers.
Most of the time when I try to use the tablet, it completely ignores its software and acts like a straight-up mouse (which means no actual tablet perk/use), so coloring and shading is impossibru.
The only way to 'fix' it, which is only a quick fix for however long it takes for whatever it is that fucks it up to .. do whatever it is that's fucking it up (I honestly have no idea!), is restarting my entire computer.
Yup.. it's that problem again, but it's not my antivirus program. It was AVG last time because AVG had a file shared with my tablet drivers so it caused a clash and AVG shut it down (or whatever) thinking it was bad, so it would kill the drivers. That's long gone and it's still all effed up. :(

Well she's done. Tykari loves it, I think I did a decent job (and the background I added really gave a little more oomph! :) ) and everyone's happy.
All in all, 15+ hours well spent. I'm getting better at speeding things up. I know I shaved a good few hours off of it. I couldn't bring myself to try shading it though, it's rather intimidating to me. I tried for about an hour but every time I looked back at it, it looked like garbage to me to I'll try when I've learned more first. Simple stuff before difficult stuff, right? Right. I'm glad I gave myself a week for each picture by the way. xD

All in all a success, minus shading, but hey, I think that flat color looks amazing and that background is pretty spiffy too.


I do not have any work for Week 3, sadly. As such, I will just be coloring what I have in stock and likely stream some. I have a personal piece I've been ignoring and have recently aquired a few pieces from a very friendly artist.

Did some more work on Week 2's piece. Finished the a huge chunk of the flora and did touch-ups to spots that missed color.
Streamlined some shortcuts too to help me speed things up just a touch. Feels good to be able to do that on my own!

Either way, successful use of time! Three hours of art and that much closer to completion. :)

I also tried out a different site.
Livestream.com is wonderful and all but it's been lagging chat or even eating sections of it for anyone online, and that's just not cool. The video was also going black randomly with no rhyme or reason. That's just not gonna work for me anymore.
Tried out Picarto.tv and so far viewers are saying it's much smoother, clearer and the chat is very responsive. I might just have to stick with it!

Started gaming on Twitch, it's unreliable and shitty for us normal folk, go to Hitbox and it's better so far.
Started arting on Livestream and it's gone to the shitter too, and I'm possibly switching to Picarto.

The headache buggered off and while my wrist is a little uncomfortable I should be able to color tonight.
I'm going to finish up daily game stuff so it's off my mind then I'll get on the arts!
I'm thinking... ~ponders and looks at clock~ ... 9:45pm (mountain time) or close? That'll give me an hour and a half to do dungeons, shoot things and prep for the stream.

I have a bloody monster-sized headache and it's mighty painful. I might have to hold off on art for tonight and try tomorrow. Keyword, might. I don't know if I will feel better in a few hours or not. We'll see. I'll post how I'm feelin' and if I'm feelin' better then I will art! If not, then there's tomorrow.

Hopefully I can beat this headache though and get some coloring in tonight.
