It's black and white, slow and dirgy, has nudity and murder in it. That's my ticket!
Actually it is a bit more refined than that, as Maxie would NEVER do something tasteless. That's my bag! So see what all the fuss is about, maybe you'll even like it!

Posted 14 years agoSo I finally went through all of my Tony the Toon photos today and whittled them down to the absolute best. Of these I have posted ten here for your viewing pleasure, with many others to be found on my photobucket album here:
http://photobucket.com/TonytheToon
As I was posting these photos I received comments. Once I had finished posting, I checked said comments, and found that the majority of them were of the "That is so creepy!" kind. I've been on this site long enough not to expect any less from this audience, but it would be lovely if those with nothing to say just kept it to themselves. I put effort into not only the costume and makeup but also the photographic presentation of this character. He is meant to be fun loving and goofy, not some sick and twisted monster. I knew going in that others would not always share my innocent sentiments, but that speaks less of myself than of their immature and thoughtless natures. I am not here to please all the pony-lovers and treacly feel-goods who think they have "taste", or feel the need to spread their "taste" to others. Not at all.
I will continue to post character and makeup pictures, as this is my passion. I would love to hear from others with these passions, as I want to grow as an artist and feel there is an eager audience for this. I am happy to say that this can be found here, once one has chopped through the foolishness. Come to me now, oh willing ones, I implore you!
*waves hands in beckoning fashion, as this will most surely summon those who wish to seek me out* bleh heh heh!

Check out my commissions from dog12!
Posted 14 years agoI commissioned three works of art from
dog12 recently, and he just posted them up here on FA. Follow the lovely links!
This is of a malicious clown who has made short work of some pesky human who obviously rubbed him the wrong way. This clown is no young punk, he's an experienced pro who isn't at all afraid to get his hands dirty!
http://www.furaffinity.net/full/6956194/
Twisel the Rat is a complete scumbag. He murders, rapes, deals drugs and does anything to survive. He loves his switchblade, and loves it more as he slides it into some fool's stinking guts! Beware of him, and pray he doesn't find you in a dark alleyway at night!
http://www.furaffinity.net/full/6956218/
There is a third picture that dog12 is not currently pleased with the photo scan, he will post it soon enough. And I must say it is quite the masterpiece of horror and humiliation! My roommate
maxcarotski would no doubt disapprove of the contents, nyeh heh heh!

The above links will take you to all my writings and photos taken at the SFX Makeup Panel I held a scant four days ago at Furfright! I will most likely add to this journal in a very short while, compiling all the volunteer makeup artists who helped to transform my willing and eager models into a variety of animals. But for now, the photos are up, and the models have all been credited!
Katie W. and Heather H. applied the rave cat face to Gadget.
Border-Walker applied the flopeared rabbit makeup to
Tantamama.
?? applied the rabbit makeup to
JoeStrike.
Daysleeper applied and later removed the grey rat makeup to/from
Lof.
?? applied the tan rat makeup to
Nybble.
Bobskunk removed Nybble's makeup.
Katie W. removed the rave cat makeup from Gadget and the flopeared rabbit makeup from Tantamama.
Heather H. removed the rave cat makeup from Gadget.
I removed the rabbit makeup from Joe Strike.
And there you have it! Ah wait. A very special mention to
NorthFur, which with the exception of the rave cat face was the supplier of all the animal nose prosthetics on display. I have been a regular customer with them for a good three years now, and will continue to buy, recommend and use their lovely line of makeup pieces. If that makes me a shill, then I shall shill away!

Posted 14 years agoHello all! I will be travelling with my good friend (and way cooler brother of my pesky roomie
maxcarotski) Dax to Furfright tomorrow. After preregistering and getting a good night's sleep, Dax will be around and about on Friday, helping out volunteering and such while checking out the Dealer's Den and doing some sightseeing.
I myself will be around on Saturday afternoon and evening, my Makeup Transformations panel will be held from 7-9pm in the Middlesex room. So if you don't want to hit up the Masquerade, come on down! You can volunteer to be a prosthetic mask model, and stroll around the con as your brand new self, or you could have a hand in someone else's transformation. I want this to be very hands-on, as much as I love to talk I would rather see my audience learn by doing. I shall have plenty of makeup prosthetics and supplies on hand, so don't be shy, there should be enough to go around! After the panel we can all stroll about the con as our true monstrous selves, moohoohahah!!!
And depending on how manageable he is, we may be bringing an extra special fright guest to unleash upon the con on Sunday! Cross your fingers he doesn't find you alone, nyeh heh heh! (He will scare you, not rape you, promise!)
So we'll see you there, hope we all have a great time!

Posted 14 years ago... and he took over 2000 photos of his trip in Colorado! He's insane, I tells ya!
Right now he's conked out on his bed, snoring like a moose in heat (get that image out of your head now!), and I'm busy uploading his photos to see what this Colorado state looks like! Lots of mountains... and trees... and big poofy clouds... over and over and...
He did bring presents. He stopped off at a Goodwill and bought some neat little costume items, and some weird ones. An orange reflective safety vest? Really? But I'll make good use of it I'm sure! The real find was an insulated blue coveralls, they fit me so nice, it's as if they were made for me! I should sleep in them. Yes, I should.
Hey, he's talking in his sleep! Let's hear what he has to say!
Max: mmmmm.... buh. SNORT snerfle snerfle... fudge so good...
WHAT?! Fudge! He had fudge and didn't bring me any! The nerve of him!!!
Max: mmmmaple nut fudge... and... SQUAAAAAAKKK (Jesus he needs some apnea treatment!) butter pecan fudge.... so good... so very very
That son of a scratch! I'll have words with him when he wakes up!

Posted 14 years agoSo Maxie Max McMaxstein is going to Colorado today, and didn't invite me along! Boo hoo. Like I'd want to go somewhere cold and mountainous anyways. So I have the run of his apartment!
However, without him around to pester and cajole, it won't be much fun. So I guess I'll take some sort of trip of my own, just for the halibut. Not sure where that will be, but it'll be good for me nonetheless. Perhaps some secret hidden dimension of space that hasn't been explored yet, yeah, I'll do that! Or something...

That super-neato TF costuming podcast hosted by Swatcher!
Posted 14 years agohttp://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2690600/
There's the link, go check it out, the final podcast is linked to his journal, and all the participants are listed there as well!
I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to attend it, as it happened right after Hurricane Irene passed through where I live. We had been evacuated the previous Friday, so I sent my bunny roommate
maxcarotski out to retrieve our webcam and bring it back to our friend's house so I could do this, I was adamant that he fight through the floods and downed power lines. He came back in the nick of time, collapsing in a heap on the floor. I fished out the webcam from his pocket and stepped carefully over him as I bolted up the stairs and logged onto Skype. Great success! (He's fine, really. And to thank him I actually chipped in for some of the rent moneys! I'm such a swell guy.)
So on to the actual podcast. The moderator
swatcher brought in a fine group of people to talk about how how we all first became attracted to the transformative possibilities of costuming and where we saw ourselves heading in the future. With most of us it started in childhood, being exposed to certain films or TV shows that somehow captivated our imaginations and made us search out more material like this. I grew up loving monster movies on TV, and had a desire to become a monster or some strange creature myself! I read a lot about how the makeups and costumes were created and that drove me to try my own hand at creating my own creatures.
I may seem like a brash and rather outspoken sort now, but back as a kitten I was very shy, and didn't wish to let others know that I was very passionate about effects and monsters and such. I hid my self made masks under my bed or in my closet, and never let on to my guardians what I was up to. Over time I began to overcome these fears of being exposed as a weirdo, as I realized that I Was A Weirdo and should be damn proud of it, too! Dressing up in costumes and masks was a real thrill, and it wasn't enough to keep it in hiding. Once I moved in with my Maxie (who despite his constipation is rather tolerant of my shenanigans), I didn't have to hide anymore, and now I parade my strangeness for all to see!
Lately I've been very active in creating cool costumes and trying out new prosthetics and masks, and I have a peace of mind from these creative endeavours. I love doing roleplays of various sorts in various guises, and it pleases me to no end to play with others receptive and enthusiastic about becoming something new and totally unlike themselves. There are all sorts of transformation fetishes around, and mine happens to be based around Costumes. I'm not academic about it, I just love the power it unleashes, and I can change bodies and faces very readily now. It's not magic, it's Effects! Gotta love 'em!

TF podcast with Swatcher, and some Irene photos
Posted 14 years agoSo I made
maxcarotski go back to our apartment and pick up a webcam so that I could join
swatcher in a Costuming TF podcast panel this previous evening. He took his sweet time getting back, as he couldn't stop taking photographs of the aftermath to Hurricane Irene, but he did get back in time, so as a reward I will post a link to his photos:
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/.....767&type=1
After handing over the webcam he collapsed into a sad heap on the floor, exhausted, wherethen I dialed into Skype and took part in Swatcher's panel. It was pretty fun, I must say! I got off to a slow start, but after hearing the other participants discuss their fascination and involvement with costumes/masks I chimed in with my makeup prosthetic and full body costume fancies. Everyone had something to contribute, and I thought it went along very nicely. There are many avenues into this sort of fancy, whether from some deep seated childhood experience to a more recent adult interest, and it can take on a variety of shapes. So far as I'm concerned, so long as the costume and the wearer come together and work off each other, feed and strengthen one another, then that is the best sort of symbiosis. One needs a compelling look and character, and the guts and deep seated need to make it come alive.
Down the line Swatcher will post a shortened version of our discussion (we ran for nearly 90 minutes), and hopefully the casual listener will be informed and see what goes on in a TF mind. Maybe! Hopefully! If not, we still love it!

All this AUP brouhaha! Time for some self promotion!
Posted 14 years agoHaving seen fetish photography become a target on this site recently, I won't be too surprised if many of my earlier costume photos will be taken down in the near future. I would like to hope not, as they are tasteful, nonsexual and mostly amusing to me. However, if that is to be the case, I will not weep or writhe in agony. I hereby direct you to the following sites where my fetish photos can also be seen (and far more than are posted here, let me tell you!)
XTUBE: I go by SammyCatnipnik, and have many of my fetish photos there as well as 14 scrumptious videos for your viewing pleasure. No membership is required, and this is the most democratic hosting site I utilize.
http://www.xtube.com/community/prof.....SammyCatnipnik
I also go by RedMike34 on www.gearfetish.com and www.fetlife.com. These sites require membership, but signing up is easy and free, and I am very sure you will find quite the feast of fetish, furry-fetish, furry furry and many other tasty things to ogle and gaze upon.
"Why so blase, Dusky? Why aren't you standing up for your right to publish fetish wear photos on this site?!? We have to show those FA admin meanies we mean biznezz!"
To be honest, with all the other sites I have my racier material on, this site isn't exactly my fetish hotspot. My first photos here were of fetishy costumes, but that was what I had on hand at the time. Since then I have posted photos of my makeup work and anthropomorphic character costumes, which is more the direction I wish to head for in the future. As a filmmaker/costumer I intend to showcase that work here, which is totally appropriate and completely acceptable.
One day the FA admins and rules may change, maybe they won't. If they lose members due to some shortsightedness or foolishness, that is their problem. Not mine. I have plenty of other things to concern myself with, and many other interests on which to spend my time.
Still kinky (though maybe someplace else),
Dusky Sam

FAU 2011 Makeup Panel!
Posted 14 years agoSo, now that FAU 2011 is over, and I've gotten some sleep made up, I can relate to you how this little makeup panel went, what I learned from it, and where Ima gonna go with it in the future.
First, I'd like to recognize
dizzyblyte,
amarettokitten and
tillylantern for volunteering, they were all very good sports and were fun to work with. Dizzyblyte applied a rabbit makeup to Tillylantern, while I applied a different rabbit/rodent makeup to Amarettokitten. All makeup pieces were supplied by Northfur FX, you can find them here as
Northfur, check out their great work!
This panel was all about showing how to glue on, blend and then color a foam latex prosthetic to a face. I started off by laying out several pieces for people to look at, touch and ask questions about. Then I asked for volunteers, who are abovementioned. They picked their respective pieces, and then we glued them down with Pros-aide adhesive. Once we had the edges down we blended them to the skin using either Cabosil (a thick gel blending material) or tissue paper and liquid latex. Finally we moved onto coloring, using rubber mask grease paint to color the prosthetic and then creme based makeups on the bare skin. Then we took some pictures, let them wander the conspace for a bit, and removed the makeups with Pros-Aide remover.
The attendance was pretty good given the space and all the other events and things to do, and a lot of people had good questions which I answered while doing the makeup applications. By the time we were coloring the makeups many people had left, as watching someone paint for 1/2 hour isn't exactly eventful. I had laid out some info sheets listing makeup and prosthetic suppliers and other relevant info for people to take home, so hopefully those who didn't get a chance to volunteer will go out and begin to explore this wonderful field!
Did I accomplish what I set out to do? I believe so. I encouraged participation and interaction, as nothing beats learning by doing. Teaching a class like this requires one to be ready to act and react to ever changing conditions. In the field a makeup artist often has to work by the seat of their pants, so being able to fix things and work on the fly is vital to keeping up with the demands of a production. Having that flexibility is useful so that you aren't getting needlessly stressed or out of sorts. Losing ones cool isn't a good thing. So I was ready to work with a large or small crowd, with many or very few volunteers, in a large or small work space. As long as the basics are known through and through, and you have the supplies you need to get the job done, then you can successfully make someone up and get a good result.
I will most certainly do a panel like this again, I will be gunning to go to Furfright this year and will be submitting a request there very shortly. I loved teaching it, and instilling these skills onto others. I am by no means a professional makeup artist, but I have the amateur's passion for creating a fantasy and bringing it to life. Without that passion (and some skill to make it happen) then all is for naught. Furry cons are about having fun, so that was the spirit I went in with, and I had a good time doing it.
Thank you,
DS

So Maxie and I are looking for a makeup model for FAU 2011
Posted 14 years agoMy nemesis/roommate
maxcarotski has landed a panel at this year's FAU 2011, where he will be demonstrating a prosthetic makeup application on a willing soul. That'll be on Sunday May 22nd from 1-3pm, Terrace B, in NJ, check the FA United 4 link at the top of this website page for location/directions. I'll be assisting him as I do love seeing people transformed into beasts and monsters, so it should be a good time!
If you would like to volunteer as the makeup model, hit either me or Max up with a note and we'll get back to you. Once you're in the prosthetic you'll be in it for the rest of the day, parading around and having fun, so don't be a fence sitter, you gotta COMMIT! At the end of the night we'll remove the makeup from you so that you aren't permanently transformed... though you may like how you look so much you'll simply BEG not to become human again! nyeh heh heh!
Thank you thank you,
Dusky

Demon Encounter
Posted 14 years agoI know this won't be a subject most people will want to read about, but I feel that in my journey it was a pretty important milestone in terms of self-expression and um, sexual gratification... this won't be a blow by blow account, more a recap to keep it fresh in my mind, so here goes.
The meet was on Wednesday April 27th, 2011. I started to drive out the night before so that I could situate myself and get the room a bit dressed up. I arrived around 1am, placed all of my masks and costume items about the room in a display fashion in case the other demon wished to worship or touch them, then went to sleep around 3am. I woke up around 9am to partake in the free continental breakfast, which consisted of watered down juices and a very doughy waffle, yeah... then a shower and a call to him so that he could start on over.
He arrived dressed in black spandex, a large spiked collar, knee high pull on boots and opera gloves. We talked, or I should say he talked for the first hour or so, telling me how he broke into the fetish scene while working in NYC, all the crazy places like the Limelight, the Vault, the Hellfire Club, all now relegated to the past. He actually started out doing crossdressing/TV work, and is still very active in that scene, mixing the feminine styles into his more outrageous demon dressups. Just from chatting with him over the last several months I've picked up a LOT of new fetishes, many for things that I never would have dreamed about trying out before him.
He is a very strong believer in not hiding what you are to anyone, and has gone out in public dressed in a variety of ways. As I have only been to a couple of fetish events, and all insulated from the outside world, I enjoyed his bravery, or should I say devil-may-care attitude toward how one sees you. He does not see what he does as abnormal, or something to be hidden away or be ashamed of. If one was to come up to him and ask about how he appeared, his response would not be to feel embarrassed or bashful, or to say he was put up to it. He would freely tell anyone that this is who he is, and this is what he likes to do. On most occassions he has found that by being open and honest about his desires, he takes the "abnormal" perception and makes it part of a very normal conversation, expanding the mind of the person(s) he talks with. I haven't exactly been coy about what I like, but now I feel far more confident in going out into the world dressed as myself, in fetish, in alien/demon garb, and not feel self-conscious about it.
So, what did we do besides talk? Once I was in my suit, I tried out some of his skull masks, going through them in rapid succession as we kissed, groped, fondled and groaned in pleasurrrrrrrrr. Good Lord do I love to kiss and caress!!! And the more I do so the more I LOVE it! He muttered his mantra of taking my evil seed (teehee!) and wishing to be my personal slave while he sucked me off to completion. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
We took a break, talked some more while he changed into some new masks and I put on my silicone Krampus devil mask that I picked up a few months ago. He was very impressed by that, and seriously turned on! Looking in the mirror, I enjoyed the power and desire that emanated from me, and knew this would be an excellent Part 2 encounter. We did same as before, only this time I videotaped the entire session, and concentrated a great deal on how this would appear for the camera. I've done self-portraits before, but now will be exploring video versions for playful skits and my more intensive xtube sessionssssssssss, so this was a good test of it. Though I haven't seen the video yet, I will certainly learn from that experience!
Afterwards, we got undressed, and became men again. We packed up our gear, talked some more about a future encounter, and then parted ways. It was excellent for both of us.
I'll be going back to Connecticut mighty soon! hyeh hyeh hyeh!

Silhouette... and headboxes
Posted 14 years agoSo I just got in an hour ago from NYC, after having spent several hours at the {XCESS Silhouette party held at the Rebel club. Lots and lots of people all dressed in formal or fetish finery, having a good time. I paraded about in my black spandex torso suit, leather boots and gloves, wrist bands, spiked collar and gas mask, and felt pretty damn good doing it!
I had arrived with 4 fetish folk and one curious furry observer, and the leader of the group, Mistress Minkman, came well equipped to keep her pup boys happy. When I wasn't looking around with my furry observer companion, I gave footrubs and served as a footrest to one mistress who accompanied us in our carpool, as she had mentioned on the trip there her predilection for such things. I do have a love to serve!
I had expected this to be a dungeon event, but it was more a mingling party with booze, non stop dance music (good stuff too) and some fetish acts on the sidelines, so I didn't see much new in the way of routines or session play. Well, I did see one man blindfolded, with his mouth forced open with a sort of dental vice, being struck with a collapsible baton. That was new, and looked a bit on the painful side.
I DID get to try out a new tool. This new tool I mention is called a headbox, whereby your head is sealed off by a thin wooden box so that you cannot see much at all, and can not hear as well. Basically a sensory deprivation device. She had four of them, and asked me if I wanted to try one on. Being curious, I naturally said "Yes!", and in short order had the contraption over my head.
It had a tendency to flop around as it was unpadded within, and since the seals weren't perfect (it's a collapsible design for maximum portability when not in use, and held together by duct tape when assembled) I was able to see glimmers of the party and dance lights, shadows passing before me, but nothing more than tantalizing glimpses of the outside world. After a time I just shut my eyes, as it was less distracting that way.
While within it, I was touched, stroked, pinched, moved around and danced with by several unknown parties. At one point I was part of some conga train line, moving throughout the club, catching glimpses of the lights and hearing the music warp, mutate and reshape itself as we walked through the space. It was a neat feeling going more by sound and touch, so even it my vision was dramatically impaired I felt far more attuned to the auditory and sensory perceptions. So I didn't see it as a prison so much as a modified perception tool. Once it was removed I was just fine, and felt no need to recuperate, even having been in it for maybe an hour or so (?), who knows? Time moved on its own terms there.
It was a good time, and the music and colors, along with a massive variety of body types and fetish/clothing styles held my interest and gave me a lot to put in my image banks. Because I love to collect people in my mind! tee hee!
Good night, I mean morning to all you early birds. Lucky birds, I'm too pooped to chase after you right now, consider yourselves lucky! nyah hah hah!

So Maxie made a voice over...

My fuzzball fiend, I mean friend
MaxCarotski did this voice over workshop thingy for
BuckHopper at Furfright last year. He played some rat fellow who has some poop on some basketball shenanigans. It was pretty cool I guess, and hearing Maxie play this Ray Rodin character made me giggle a bit, thinking about the parallels I could draw betwixt the two of them! Rabbits, rats... all cat food to me! Nyeh heh heh!
No offense to my rabbit and rat friends, of course. Of course!

The Eagle:On the matter of fetish play and being a medium
Posted 14 years agoHello again! It's been awhile.
MaxCarotski came back from his Indiana trip not long ago, sans Lolita (glee!) and having met up with
Mx_Scade in Ohio. He showed me his pictures, which were good (he is a good photographer, darn him), I cannot claim that Ohio is a boring looking state anymore, so I plead forgiveness from the Ohioians out there. Off the beaten path, I suppose every place has its hidden beauties.
It is true they discussed where I'm going and how I shall get there, which I should be flattered about, even if they think I am a silly sort of cat. Which I am, I cannot deny that! I do like to talk big, and I do make stupid mistakes of judgment, but being newish to this world I could be forgiven some of my transgressions. At least I haven't repressed my desires, especially when it comes to taking on new forms and shapes and such. I suppose that's why I was brought to life, so that I can take on all of my master's desires and tomfooleries without all the inhibitions and worries that he has built up through the years just being human. I can channel his good energies and look cooler than him doing it! It's all good stuff!
So yesterday (I mean Thursday) I went into New York to attend a pup play session at the Eagle, which I had never attended before. Myself and 2 friends arrived rather late, and so missed out on having the company of other pups. So I, dressed and acting as a "master" of sorts (have to work the bugs out on that roleplay!), led my pup around the three floors of the Eagle, all very dimly lit, and filled to the brim with all manner of leather and rubber men. Mmmmmmmm!
Or should I say, meep! I have to admit, I was kinda scared or something wandering around, not knowing anyone, still getting used to being in total lycra coverage out in a public venue. For despite my photos you've seen posted, I haven't gone outside of the confines of my master's house until now. It's one thing to dress up in the comfort of a familiar place, and yet another thing to then go out in front of dozens of strangers in the same wardrobe. My master and I had yet to reconcile such issues, and if it wasn't for the fact that I was wearing a gas mask (hot hot hot) I would have not had any confidence whatsoever. Being totally anonymous, mysterious, helped immensely. Me and my puppy had a good time messing around without any concern for what others around us would think or say, and we were not molested in anyway.
Well...
My one encounter with a total stranger was rather intense. He was an older gentleman, dressed in neoprene wetsuit, with a leather jacket, pants and boots over it. He came right up to me, eyeing me intently (or at least I gathered this, as his eyes were completely obscured by the shadow of his leather brimmed hat). He showed me his chest, and I had to touch it with my leather gloves. We drew closer, navigating some strange course of exploration over each other's bodies. He made me smell his leather through the gasmask, which heightened the aromas intensely, and I rubbed myself all over his body. At no time did he force or coerce, yet he was very assured in his intentions and I was very eager to follow them. I got him off, and I was lost in his gropings and probings until my friends told me it was getting late, and it was time to go. And so we left.
AND I JUST GOT CRUISED! AND USED!!!! YIIIIIIIIIY
"Wait. Hold up! You're saying you actually enjoyed being fondled by a creepy old leather man in some dank pit of a bar? You should rename this journal 'I have a thing for creeps, and I have no common sense!' What's the matter with you, anyways?"
I'll answer in this fashion:
I GOT CRUISED!!!! YIIIIIIIIIY
And given my lack of a crotch zipper, and the protection of my gasmask, it was like wearing a full body condom (hotototototot), so I wasn't worried about picking up some disease. Lycra washes off easily, which is why I like it so!
"What does this have to do with roleplay, and being a medium? How presumptuous you are, you stupid cat!"
It means everything. Dressed as I was, I attracted others and I wanted that attraction. Despite any initial fears, I overcame them and was able to give pleasure to those who wanted it, and derive pleasure from those actions. I was able to channel my master's repressed passions and desires, become completely lost to those superior powers, and reach out to guide him to a new level of feeling and understanding. If that isn't what a medium does, then I need to find another line of work, like selling health insurance.
I'm no mystic. I'm not even versed in magick, with its spells and incantations and potions. I am a fetishist. And I finally understood in no uncertain terms that FETISH is a potent gateway to feeling and perceiving. It did not matter to me that I was some faceless toy to be bandied about, that was how I was to gain entry to that new understanding. One must meet the knowledge halfway or it will not share itself with you. In my gear, with my weak "self" stripped away, I could learn far more. That is something very powerful. And something I will continue to explore for a very long time.
Good night, and may your brief encounters be so revealing!
