Sorry things got crazy the last like month or so. School started. And I had a great girlfriend, but like 2 weeks ago, after almost 5 months dating, and only a week before my birthday (2 weeks after hers) she broke up with me for no apparent reason. Things have really been hard since then, but it has led me to start checking FA again, and I made a facebook for my fursona, just search Duzzy Valo, im sure you'll find it. Anyway, hope everyone is doing good out there, im back to checking FA regularly, oh and I had to nuke everything, I had like 1,000 journals and submissions, so yeh, I was never going to look through all those lol.

Hey guys, So a friend of mine and his family could use your prayers. His dad (only age 62) died last night from his 2nd battle with cancer. It wasn't completely unexpected but, it was sort of sudden, and we all still had tons of hope left that he could beat it again, so it was sort of a shock. anyway, please and thank you.

Hey guys, I guess sorry. Ive been gone for a long time.
Lots of stuff has been going on.
1. I got a real job as a web developer
2. I got my first real girlfriend :)
3. been jeeping all summer in my new Jeep
4. now im preparing to go back to college in less then a month

But ive found some time to work on stuff again So first full band cover is uploading now :)

So im working on a full band cover of Revolution by starfield. Today i got the drums done and tested the acoustic guitar, I would have finished acoustic guitar to but I wasn't getting a sound I liked. anyway just got acoustic guitar(i might take it out), electric 1, electric 2, bass, and vocals left lol.

I got some free time coming up and I want to record some acoustic/vocal/ whatever other stuff i decide to add songs. But i dont know which ones to start with so I thought I would ask you guys. Just list your top 3 or whatever, that will help me decide.

2 years ago today I created my FA page and completed creating Duzzy as a character :).

Feels weird though, idk why.

In other news, my summer class is going well, and i think Ive been re inspired to build my own Desktop PC, but this time im going to hook it to my TV and just watch movies and stuff off it, im not sure exactly what I wanna do with it yet. I built one with help from my dad back in 7thish grade, and it lasted about 2 years of gaming,. then it died because the pins that hold the older style processor to the bored had actually corroded, the mother board was high end from back in 1995 lol, but it got a lot of use as it was in a server computer at Boeing. Well it eneded up sitting under my desk collecting dust for like 5 years now lol. anyway it died and I never refixed the computer, so im thinking of taking some old parts from it and buying some new stuff with a $500 budget, and rebuilding it. :D

got another really awesome song almost done, took me most of the week to get the Piano part programmed and such, its a pretty complicated song, and not very ez to play, so ill work on it over time and hope to get it up.

Summer Semester starts tomorrow so I have no idea how much time ill have around my computer for non school stuff, sure its only 1 class, but its 3 months condensed into 1 month, so it moves extremely fast and im a tad scared, but will see what happens, Im going to try to dedicate Saturdays to music stuff, so ill try to keep recordings coming. except next Saturday, im hopefully going to go see Sanctus Real in concert =D.

first off, just saying, im only doing these updates because im fairly bored this week, sure im doing stuff but not much is 'really' going on, summer semester starts Monday, so ill be all busy again starting then. Well, ill probably be all busy again, idk yet.

anyway, I felt way to lazy today to record anything so I didn't even try, just kind of hanged around and cleaned some stuff, played lots of Skyrim and Forza 4. practiced by cello, but thats about it lol. Ill see about getting back on it tomorrow.

Still not as much progress as I would like, I was hoping to finish a song a day. but now im hoping to finish A song by the end of the week. idk, today was better then yesterday but still, not moving as fast as i would like.

I had most the day off, actually most this week off (my only week off till summer semester starts). and I was hoping to spend time each day in studio and make some progress on stuff. I ended up doing poorly, unable to get a single recording done, Ill try again later tonight but looks like today failed. Haven't done much but do house work/ bought next semesters book, and played Skyrim, then hit the studio and gave up lol. better luck tomorrow I guess.

So school and finals are almost over. Im doing really well this semester (currently 4.0, but i have to wait for a few finals scores), but focusing so much on school, has caused me to fail in other areas of life. So... Now that the finals are almost over I can get back to work on recording and posting new songs. I got 1 almost ready to go, and like 10 more which im about to start firing off one at a time. Things are getting a little tricky though because I have no piano player and I have little piano skill, so im going to have to resort to my computer playing the piano parts, which isn't ideal, but so far their actually turning out better then I though. If anyone's interested, I can add a progress report to my main FA page about songs im currently doing. Anyway, I cant wait to get back into posting stuff again.

Another one which i just finished writing the music for is originally by  Kwaku-Husky , but I'm adding a cello part to it, which should be cool, i hope. I just have to record it.

So, I know ive kind of disappeared from FA for the last little wile. School has been off the charts stressful. Good news is its almost over, only a few more weeks of school.

Off and on this time ive been quiet. Ive recorded 3 more pieces. Each one separate, but awesome. Their Piano and Cello pieces. Ill probably post 1 a week starting next week sometime (maybe im not sure yet, really depends on school).

So I got started on 2 of the next songs im recording, One is a awesome cello nontet? (9 cellos). The other is a cello quartet of a Kings of Leon song.

but... Those are going to be put on hold for a wile. School is getting crazy (even though next week is spring break, teachers seem to love to load up students with homework over the break lol) My volunteer music performances are taking a ton of time since im playing full time now, and music for the Symphony at my school AND the Cello Studio/Master class are really time consuming . Plus im doing a cello/piano concert in a few months (i think, there is no date yet) and we are beginning to gather music, which means im spending countless hours on the scanner xD. Then ill spend a lot of time practicing for that too. and next week im doing on a couple of different Jeeping tips, so im getting my jeep already to go.

There's just a lot of stuff on my plate, so im going to have to push things back a bit.

So, since my last song was a failure, you would think I would try something easier to get confidence back, NOPE. im doing a really difficult song. I have already arranged it for a string quartet (and its posted, but I wont say which song it is). but with 9 fairly difficult cello parts in the original version, its going to take a wile to finish it, and who knows, maybe this one will fail to lol. Anyway, so i am working on something, even though I may not be posting stuff... as quickly as i said i would.

and my question was this... In the meantime between song releases, do you think it would be kind of interesting for me to post recordings of my practice sessions? I wont post recording sessions, but only practice sessions.

Once this piece is finished (or failed) im going to focus on recording some cello originals.

so i had a "bad news" journal but really i was just getting really frustrated with life/ school, so on.

anyway, I cant believe i got 2 new watchers in one day, and we went on a awesome hike, so im in a pretty good mood. I got the last movement still to upload ill get to that fairly soon (couple days).

future plans: my parents are in town this week, im subing in a lot at church on various instrument, major symphony concert next Saturday (its a huge deal), AND its midterms next week. so give me some time to get through the next week, then ill try to get back to recording and uploading stuff at least once every 12-14 days (thats my goal).

The recording project ive been working on for the past 2 weeks is going to have to be scrapped and started over. It really only equals about 3 hours of recording, but i have so little time to work on stuff, i squeeze it in here and there, thus it took 2 weeks to get 3/4 of the way done, then find a fatal problem, and have to scrap it. Im probably just going to move on to the next one and come back to this later. Not really the set back i need right now, im already in high stress mode from school being midterms next week, and having very little motivation to do this anyway doesn't help, idk we'll see what happens. but im not in a very good mood =(

The third and final movement of Equali will be up some time in the next few days.

I do want to take this moment to thank  uriyuki and  Blackwervolk for being supportive, there the reason why im even trying to record stuff. thanks guys.

so this song has three movements, and im wondering, would you guys rather see 1 upload with the three movements (one after another) or three separate upload?

if you choose the first one (1 upload) It will be a little wile till I finish the second and third movement.

its been a real roller coaster lately, there has been many projects that have been very successful and some that have been complete failures.

School is going better then I hoped for so far. Whatever time i have left over im spending it working on Worship band stuff for church.

Ive started up another arranging/adapting project for my colleges new Cello Ensemble. Its going to be a medley of Two Steps from Hell pieces. I may or may not record them on my real cello, but most likely ill just post the MIDIs for now and come back to recording them later.

Also im trying to get off my butt on days that im not doing much and spend some time in studio and record stuff, today I got the beta recordings of a trombone quartet that im playing on cello. Its one of my all time favorite pieces.

So don't worry, i guess im not completely gone from FA, im going to keep working on stuff, i know i keep saying that and not much happens, but im really trying this time, stress from school is really pushing me to try to do more with everything.

so, the Manifesto project is official closed due to lack of support. i sort of expected it, as i expect no more then 10 views on everything i do here, but oh well, it was worth a try, and kind of my last push for music on FA for a wile. no, im not giving up, 100%, just pushing things down the road till i feel motivated to post something again.

In the mean time  Uriyuki and I are throwing around some ideas about doing some story/novel/writing collaborations :D

What is this?
The basic idea of this project is that we are creating a full band cover of the song “Manifesto” by The City Harmonic. If you listen to the full song (YouTube link below), you’ll hear that on the chorus and other parts of the song there is a choir of people singing in the background. This is where you come in. The purpose of this project is to bring people together for a purpose. What purpose you may ask, that is sort of up to you, for me, it’s about doing something bigger then yourself. It’s about not wasting my time with small things and doing something for real that goes along with my beliefs. A smart guy from T.V. once said “The only way this country is going to turn around is not by more policies, but with a change of heart” (referring to the recent spike in shootings, and the slow degrade of society).

One way you can help is by being a part of the chorus. If not, then you can help by spreading the word of this project. If you want to be a member of the chorus, or fill another instrument spot, keep reading, if you just wanna help spread the word, go make a journal and link back here. This journal will house all the information about the project and updates over time (ill just change the title, were it says “[Launch]” when I update info).

So… if you want to be a member of the chorus or on another instrument, either comment bellow or note me. Ill add you to the list of people involved which is later on in the journal. If you’re going to be playing an instrument, I need to hear some of your stuff, and then we’ll go from there. If your part of the chorus, just record it and send it to me via email by the deadline (which is currently TBD). Please use the Demo track (Link below) so you stay in time, listen to the original song to figure out how it goes, it isn’t too difficult. I know there is no vocals on the demo track, but were doing it almost the exact same way it is on the original song (except were doing it 2 ½ steps lower and there is a missing repeat in the last chorus1). Just listen to both the original and the Demo and you should get it.

Sorry Ive been SOOOO quiet lately, kind of cut myself off from the internets well I was back home in Washington for a few weeks. Well now im back in Utah getting things realigned and should be more consistently on =).
