well just finished up orientation. All signed up and ready to go, i think. Not really sure how i feel about it all. excited to live in a house, sort of excited to move, not excited to leave stuff behind, not excited to be mostly alone, about 50% excited to go to college, idk, mixed emotions about everything.

So my new arrangement is well underway. im working really hard to try to smash Classical orchestra setting with a (Here is a big hint to what im doing) a DUBstep/electro style. this is going to be very interesting to see how this turns out. From what ive done so far, this is turning out to be one of my best (in my opinion).

I decided to do both of the songs. First im going to work on the short one, then work on the medley, which is going to be far more complicated.

Sorry ive been fairly quiet. I graduated hischool a little while ago so for the first time in months ive been EXTREMELY LAZY, and its sort of awesome. i think im done now though, so im getting ready to start tons of new work.

Working on some Big Band (Jazz) stuff, maybe get some awesome lyrics from  Rainstar9805 idk, but i wanna do something with Rain eventually :) Im also hoping to work more with  Disparity_by_Design :)

A friend and I are going to attempt to record a EP this summer, starting in a week or so... that should be awesome. idk if ill release every song here, but i will release a short 30 secoundsish of most of the songs, and then give you info of how to buy it, chances are its going to cost $1-5. IDK i might release them all, things haven't been decided yet. So im excited about that

My band ("Last Remnant" find us on facebook =D) is doing a bunch of shows this summer, i hope, so im pumped.

I start college on August 20th, and i'm moving at the beginning of August. about 60% excited xD (that will probably go up once we get closer)

Im also starting to learn piano for real. so im also learning how to tune pianos and stuff like that. im also in the market for a new cello to use at college, my current one is to fragile and expensive in its condition to take to such a dry climate, so its gonna stay safely at my home here in Washington.

Just finished our last day of High school today. Weird feeling to walk out the front doors for the last time as a Falcon. All of our class hugging and crying and congratulating each other, along with teachers. Its a bittersweet experience but im ready to start writing the next chapter of my life. :)

Today marks Duzzy's first annifursary. One year ago today i joined FA :)

So after teh success from my last song (scars of time from Chrono Cross). i think im gonna lay down my arrangements, and focus more on original compositions. These will most likely be in the same format of MIDI recording. in the coming months after i move and get settled for college i should get my studio up and working again and can start recording live tracks using real instruments, mainly guitar/vocal/bass/drum stuff, and Cello/piano stuff.

So Original works coming up next :)

So finally done with my Senior project. Passed with all categories exceeding standard (the highest score). now sence that's done, i gota catch up on stuff ive been missing wile i was working really hard to finish it. So once i get things caught up, i can start working on that old recording computer, once that's done i can rebuild part of my studio and start recording again ^_^

So sorry ive been so quite on here lately. things are going crazy in real life. Some really amazing and others are super depressing lol. but im hoping when Ignition and my Final Senior project are over (in about 2-3 weeks it will all be done) then i can get back to normal and get my studio set up for a new computer dedicated for recording and i can finally start recording stuff on a regular basis to post.

Auditioned for Pacific Lutheran University today on my cello, and that appeared to be a hit. the judges appeared to really liked what i played and said i was "very talented" and played with tons of emotion. After that i drove home switched cello for guitar and played at Cutter's Point (A Local coffee shop) with 2 great friends for a couple hours. it went well even though there were hardly any people there and none of the people i invite showed up. oh well. it was a mix of happiness, and loneliness all together lol.

He is one of the first people i met here on FA and he is truly a awesome person. i just cant believe all that he has had to go through latley. plz pray for him.

I give up trying to make full band covers. i mean, i've spent almost a year trying to do full band covers (Guitar, vocal, Bass guitar, drums, and other instruments needed) but they just aren't working. and having so much stress from other musical projects Ive found something within myself. so from now on, ive given up on trying to do something that isn't me. Im trying to be something that im not. so im going back to were i feel my musical feeling lay, and that is in acoustic performances with few instruments and more emotion. So im really hoping i can start recording acoustic songs again once i get stuff re set up and it will be nice to get back to something that im good at. im just sad i wasted a lot of time trying to be something im not. but this isn't meant to be sad, this is meant for me to show that i have finally found something inside me that i know is me. And that is one question im constantly looking for an answer to, who am I? and it took me a year to answer a piece of it. =]

its amazing how the things that brings you a ton of happiness can also bring you ton of sadness. =(

ps. im really sorry for a negative journal, i promised myself i wouldn't type another one, but for this one im breaking that promise (at least im making it brief).

as of 1:15 yesterday, my first arrangement "Heaven's Not Enough" was performed at a recital with a string quartet (2violins, viola, cello). this made me seriously happy as it really made me feel that something in my musical writings has come alive. i arranged this almost a year ago. i mean hearing a group play one of my songs here and there for practice is awesome, but having a group Perform one, is a whole nother story (especially since im the cellist in the group). Thanks to everyone that was involved in it. If my mom's video of the song turned out well ill upload it later (on facebook).

Realeased my new Arrangement over on Facebook. im very excited about this new song. so if you want to hear it ahead of time jump over to my facebook page :3, if not. ill get it up on here when i get time, which might be a wile, things are getting extremely crazy around here now. mainly since we haven't been in school for over a week because of the ice storm.

This storm is ridiculous, we have what appears to be 3 tress down, a branch breaks or something falls about every 45 seconds around our house, cars are frozen over. our driveway is blocked by multiple pieces of debre. Almost no one around us has power, so were lucky there. None of the cars are going anywhere. there are multiple trees threatening our house. there isn't much we can do except hope nothing hits our house or the cars, and no one gets hurt. its especially scary right now because were trying to clear trees away from our house and its still pitch dark out, so you hear a branch break and you cover your head and hope nothing hits you. this is getting scary.
